I just got the Stratos AZ3000. Don't you just LOVE a brand new, unused vacuum? So clean and pristine looking! I think this Stratos is beautiful! Love the colors. And it's the most amazing vacuum ever! I'm terrible at buying vacuums, then 6 months later, losing love and enthusiasm for it 😅 In less than 2 years, I got a Quantum X (fell out of love pretty fast with it), then the Sirena water filtration vacuum (I DO still love it....super awesome suction and filtration...but it's cumbersome to use, and I found myself not vacuuming as much as I should). I missed the convenience of an upright, then saw the Stratos and got one. I'm so in love! I hope I stay in love with it or hubby will have a fit with me! 😂 I always love your videos!
Great for pet and human hair. Edge cleaning is subpar. Needs a longer hose or extension. It's ok for low or eye level but anything up high you have to lift canister and the wand to got high spots such as cobwebs and such.
I own a cleaning company and have 3 of the vertex's. They are fantastic. I just ordered a stratos because of the odor control. How was that? The wheel thing is annoying with commercial use they wear out quickly. I replace them from eBay when I can actually find them. I really wish shark would ditch those wheels they are very cheaply made. Great review!
I just got the stratos , is great vacuuming forward, but when you drag it backwards on carpet, there is some Resistance maybe she too friction and the rollers going the opposite way, is this typical and normal for yours?
The reason why the filter seal is on the actual vacuum itself is because people would throw away vacuums because the seal would go bad and make a horrible noise from turning off and they didn’t know it was the filter they fix that issue by putting the seal on the vacuum
Ok I watched a few of your videos now. I have a small cleaning company and have tried a million vacuums and high end at that. I’m interested in switching to a Shark due to all its attachments and wand. Would you recommend the Stratos or the Vertex?
They are so similar it’s hard to really pick one. They are basically the exact same thing. But if I had to say one, the vertex seems to maneuver ever so slightly better. But that’s REALLY splitting hairs. If you were blindfolded, they would feel nearly identical. The stratos has a slightly larger bin if I’m not mistaken as well. But the vertex is also huge. So truthfully, get whichever one you can get for cheaper. That’s going to be the most worth it. Just to let you know, cleaning companies put a lot of strain on vacuums and sharks are good at it but they do need maintenance. So to make sure it lasts the longest it can, make sure you’re on hard floor mode on hard floors, carpet mode on carpet. Filter washes frequently. And keep the metal shroud in the bin clean. If you do that, you will have the most versatile and best cleaning vacuum you could ever ask for.
I’d go with the Dyson unless you were looking for specific features the shark had like anti hair wrap, powered lift away, and duoclean. But the Dyson will most likely clean a little bit better and both have excellent filtration. And Dyson is generally built a little bit better. But both are great options. But seen as the Dyson is also cheaper, that would be my choice.
@@DillonCleans awesome thank you for the quick response. Love your reviews and your videos. Which do you think has better build quality, and more cleaning power.
@@jorgebarrios-fy4it build quality I’d say dyson. But sharks isn’t necessarily bad. Both are perfectly adequate. Cleaning power depends. The shark has more suction and airflow however due to the design of the floor head, the dyson cleans carpet better. But the shark still does well on carpets. And the shark is unbeatable on hard floors. If you’re looking for the best all around vacuum will all the features, shark. But if you’re looking for the best carpet cleaning vacuum with the least maintenance and will last 20 years, dyson. I prefer the shark all day every day. But it just depends.
If you have a lot of hard floor, no. But if you have a lot of carpet then yes. This cleans MUCH better than the apex. The apex is simply not great at carpets.
Every review I watched for the stratos had the power nozzle for furniture but I bought one today and of course this model doesn’t have it. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
First of all I just have to say I love the sound of your voice. And I've owned every single shark so far that they have made and you know I just have to say I'm not impressed with shark anymore. I don't like how first of all on the Stratos that they don't have the hose clip anymore so your hose just bangs around. And I really wish that they had a carpet height adjustment on the nozzle that would be so nice. And I wish the hose was a stretch hose so when you're using it and canister mode you can have extra length of hose. And I wish that they would also bring back the canister caddy. Because of somebody who has dexterity issues they can't hold a canister and try to use the nozzle part at the same time. So shark shame on you for not doing that shame on you for not including an electric mini power nozzle anymore and shame on you for not making your nozzles with carpet height adjustments. I went to sebo and I have to say I really like my upright and my s e b o canister
