Respect for the fact she was upfront about being superficial. She literally spelled it out for him from the start. No excuses, no pretending she's deep/nice.
The first song that plays with her is about her being a gold digger, and she is introduced in a story when Oscars says, "Millionaire." It is hints after hints.
it's an interesting phenomenon you see with people like you. you respect scammer and grifters cause they are honest about being a scammer/grifter? this is exactly why you get fooled. they are stay trash people and have earned their place on the wall.
With design like that no one literally have no idea what fish species shes based of (myself included) but after reading this i agree with you because her hair patterns literally dead giveaway she's lion fish
Yes, she Plays evil characters mostly because shes a babythief of Jennifer Aniston. Really i want Brad and Jennifer together again. Good Jennifer and evil Angelina, logical
@@CreekSeirbell Angelina not only voiced the seductress, she also played them, she is no stranger to this. One of these films was the one in which she played with Antonio Banderas
Angie thought he was giving her a ring because of the his monologue and the balcony all the emotional buildup, but it was actually her grandma's pearl that she had lent him to save his ass and he was giving it back in a full-on pearl necklace. So Angie was like "😬 I totally misinterpreted the situation", but then he's about to say something more, but right then Lola shows up and is like "aww, best friend, how cute" and takes her away. It's a brilliant movie. So I have to agree with you on it being a big "OOF" moment and feeling that way, but the whole situation was a little different
He never gave her a ring it was a necklace and that was after him & Lola were “together “ then realized lola was a dog and wanted Angie lmfao rewatch the movie please
Melanie, I am about to drop some Wallace Wisdom upon that ass: Just because you’re honest about being a piece of sh!t doesn’t mean people have to: 1) like it and 2) accept it. Being a decent human being isn’t hard, people just choose not to be one.
Congratulations! Your comment just reached 200 likes! 😀 I wouldn't be surprised if one of your other comments has more likes. But as the 200th liker of this comment, I wanted to congratulate you!
Okay but props to Lola for beating Oscar's ass, mans took the family heirloom his best friend gave him to save his ass from dept and used it to gamble, then was dumb enough to go for a clear as day gold digger over her
@@UndercverTODDl3r No, Lola beat Oscar up because Oscar told Lola that he loved Angie and was getting ready to leave her for Angie. 😂 Lola even insulted Angie sevreal times infront of Oscar. There was no sisterhood from either of them😂 I love this movie. I'm from the 2000s. I still have it on DVD.
He does deserve an ass beating for gambling Angie's grandma's pearl like an idiot. If I ever had a friend who does the same shit to me I would get them out of my life immediately
@bemiatto67 No, just no... You trying to be funny by using something that already exists to turn it against men, thinking it'll catch on But that's just pathetic and unoriginal, sorry to disappoint 👏
Honestly, it’s not even about her being seductive. Her voice is just very soothing to listen to. It makes me want to fall asleep. Jolie did such an amazing job voicing her.
…then you grew into a mature adult and realized how disrespectful, shallow, manipulative, and selfish she is, and decide you don’t want to model after a two-faced skunk 😂 You can want beauty, but not someone like Lola.
Oscar's relationship with Angie is much more better than Lola's, and it's much more loving and healthy. Also, Oscar's relationship with Lola proved to be very toxic and unhealthy, and being rich and famous isn't really about being a somebody. Being a somebody is really about having friends who really care about you and be there for you, and that's what friends are always for. Lola thinks that rich and famous people is about being a somebody, but she's so wrong. She's just so shallow and she only cares about money.
@Michael Butler Yeah, well, I don't think Oscar and Lola are a better couple, and I think Oscar and Angie make a really good couple. Well, I really praise Angie's secret love for Oscar, and it does happen in real-life that you're secretly in love with somebody and the somebody that you're in love with in secret is completely unaware of your deep romantic feelings for them. Also, Angie having secret feelings for Oscar is very interesting and it does happen in real-life, and her feelings for Oscar is so beautiful and it's very relatable. Also, Oscar's relationship with Lola was very toxic and unhealthy, and Lola never truly loved Oscar and she was only interested in his money and fame. She was way more interested in his Sharkslayer status rather than for who he is, and she was never right for Oscar anyway. Oh, and by the way, Oscar did the right thing to end his relationship with Lola after he saw her true colors and how she disrespected Angie like that.
Lola was literally the only one who wasn’t an idiot in this movie she was more forward to oscar than angie was and surprisingly unlike the other characters she actually had her sh🤬t together
Lola's got legit fem-dom energy. I love how she twirls Oscar at 1:57 and dips him at 3:36. Even if you don't approve of her gold-digging, you gotta admire her confidence and how she goes for what she wants.
I feel like the ending credit scene with the crab and the scene where she is like "want me to rub your back" alluded to potentially having sex with Oscar? Like they were made for adults watching this with their kids.
Even though Lola is so beautiful, but she's so selfish and heartless. She only cared about money and she thinks that a rich and famous person is a somebody which isn't true at all. Also, I really didn't like the part when Lola disrespected Angie like that, and Oscar totally regret for not listening to Angie and it was a good thing that he broke up with Lola. Also, Angie was absolutely correct that Lola wouldn't be interested in Oscar if he wasn't rich and famous, and she was only trying to warn him about her.
@@asterianne2977 Yeah, she sure is. Lola is trash, and she was never even the right girl for Oscar anyway 'cause she only loved him for his money and fame rather than for who he is.
Lola is the girl who will go out with you for a day then drop you & only likes you cause you’re popular or something or she just sees you as an easy target for her. Angie is the girl who will love you no matter how you act or how you look & she will always stick by your side no matter what.
This is how I interpret this scene: She probably knew that Oscar was about to ask Angie out, but she wanted for him to confirm it to see his character. Once Lola saw the way he forgot about Angie the second he saw her she knew he was a horrible person that is easy to manipulate so she "took" him from Angie.
I was so attracted to this fish as a little girl, I used to rewatch the scenes with her and get mad when Oscar showed up on screen because I thought he was ugly. I'm a lesbian now, go figure.
Yeah, that's true. Oscar was being so blind by Lola's beauty and charm to see what she was really like until he finally saw her true colors, and Angie even tried to warn him that there something must be fishy about Lola and what she said about Lola during the argument scene made a lot of sense.
Lola: Hello? Hello. Oscar? Listen, baby, I know I was a bad girl. But c'mon! You'd have to be crazy...not to take me back. Me: No, you're crazy to think that he would take you back!
No, thank you and how would you feel if somebody says that “You’re a nobody” to you? You should never judge someone who’s different than any other fish like Angie
Oh, and everybody can have insecurities you know, and how everybody hates being nobodies and would like to be somebody, even without noticing that you are a somebody in your own way.
As a 7 year old me, I was stupidly shipped Lola and Oscar before because as a kid myself, I don't know anything about Toxic Relationships until now, Angie and Oscar are perfect together. Unlike Lola, Even she's beautiful and she's being Miss "Perfect", She used Oscar just to try to steal his money and leave him with another fish celebrity. I don't care if the movie is trash and a Finding Nemo rip-off, There's a moral of the story in this movie though. "Be yourself, your life is a choice you make"
Yeah, that's so true, and I honestly don't care what other people say about Shark Tale. I think Shark Tale is a really good movie with a really good moral lesson about being yourself, and I've always enjoyed the movie since I was a little kid and I still enjoy it so much today.
It's not a Finding Nemo ripoff. Production apparently started on Shark Tale before DreamWorks was even aware of Finding Nemo's existence. According to what DreamWorks has claimed. Also the story couldn't be more different. Even though I admit that Finding Nemo is a better film, I remember being equally nostalgic for both movies. And Shark Tale will always have a special place inside my heart.
To be honest for Oscar and Angie’s relationship I’m putting them in the Greg area cause for the scene when Oscar meets Don Lino and pretends that he doesn’t know who’s Angie. He was supposed to be her hero for how much she care about him. If Oscar keeps lying that scene then what would he do to save Angie and the pretentious he doesn’t know her
After Oscar did the right thing and broke up with Lola, she arranged Don Lino and his mafia to kidnap Angie so she could get revenge on Oscar for ending his relationship with her. I mean, who would want vengeance against somebody for a breakup?! That's so petty, and Lola is just being immature. I can't believe she got Angie kidnapped by Don Lino and his mob over something so ridiculous, and I know I would never do something like that. Lola is really a terrible person and I'm so glad that Oscar decided to break up with her.
4:48 I didn't even notice the hair flip after she beat Oscar's ass, and ive watched this movie many times... yet this is the first time I saw her do that, like the Kween she is XD
When I was a kid, bro, I would laugh so hard watching this, but now that I"m 19 watching this again is kind of insane that there are a lot of girls like her.
During the mid-credits scene, Lola attempts to re-establish her relationship with Oscar by apologizing for her actions while she is completely unaware that he was nothing but a complete fake in the first place and no longer lives at the top of the reef after the truth has been revealed. Even though she doesn't know the Sharkslayer was a fraud, Lola doesn't truly love Oscar and was only interested in his money and fame, and her apology to him is so insincere and she absolutely has no remorse for what she did, even when she tried to get revenge on him for ending their relationship which was the right thing to do. She is only apologizing to him so she could seduce him again and hopefully become rich and famous alongside him by using him again while she doesn't know he is no longer rich and famous. Oh, and by the way, I guess ending up with a "nobody" as she would call Crazy Joe is the best karma she could've gotten and there is no way Lola would want to start a relationship with Crazy Joe because she would be greatly disgusted by him due to his repulsive appearance and would reject him since she is shallow as a puddle and is only interested in handsome fish who are rich and famous. I bet when Lola first met Crazy Joe, she thinks that he is rich and famous, but she quickly finds out that he isn't rich at all and has been using his money for the poor for charity and doesn't do any public appearances, and quickly loses interest him.
@@crymeris2531 I mean, I really enjoy the movie Shark Tale so much and it's one of my favorite movies ever, but Lola is my least favorite character since she's nothing but a shallow, vain, and inconsiderate gold digger and doesn't truly care about anything but money.
@@Neha-ue3uk I just enjoy the movie Shark Tale and I love it so much, and I've always loved the movie ever since I was a little kid. That's all. Also, I'm a huge fan of the movie. Are you a fan of the movie too?
I’m also sure this is how the devil came at Eve in the garden in the very beginning of humankind . He was gentle, calm, undeniably charming, confident, and he coaxed her
