You can know what pitch to expect and consequently know about the product on the surface level, but that does not mean that the sharks or the business owners are reading off a script. Therefore, I think it's foolish to say the show is scripted, because you are framing it as other reality TV shows and as fake, but actually pitches may be softly rehearsed... just a little... so ABC can make an entertaining show and not allow lackadaisical pitches and whatnot to bore the audience. In your logic, anything with rehearsal like a presidential debate, a conference on technology for say Apple or Tesla, a post game interview for the superbowl etc. are fake. Scripted and fake go hand-in-hand, and honestly at 23 I don't see why you are so bitter about things not being completely genuine for TV given that's not how the communications and entertainment industry work. Scripted and rehearsal are not even close to the same thing.
