Jo train ticket book karta hai kahi jane ke liye, wo kabhi 1.5-2 lakh ki BMW, Lambo gadi ke sapne nhi dekhe ga. Completely agree with Aman. Hamare liye gadi GF ki tarha hai, ak emotion. Usko equity mai chalana toh soch bhi nhi sakte.

If you have 20 lakhs! You can own 12 different cars by this model. ₹1,50,000(booking charge)+ ₹15,000(annual maintenance charge) = ₹1,65,000 for 1 month for 5 years So for 12 months(5years), ₹1,65,000 x 12 = ₹19,80,000 After 5 years, resale value of all 12 cars you’ll get ₹7,20,000 (assuming ₹60,000 each)

Why would a person who has 20 lakhs want to ride a 12 different used cars Like this amount won't get 12 luxury cars they'll be entry level cars and the other 11 owners will abuse the vehicles Instead they can buy a new car for 20 lakhs in sole ownership and maintain it well

That 7 seater use case is very practical. They do service n insurance, pick up. The founder is solid. Even for NRI's who come to India for a month or 2, this is useful. To avoid misuse, the vehicle should be inspected and a report should be generated before the vehicle is transferred to the next owner. Accordingly, penalties n bonuses should be added, which can be redeemed while selling the vehicle. I don't like my vehicle being misused.

Market for this is limited to those people who 1. Aspire to own a luxury vehicle, 2. Are willing to pay anywhere between Rs 1.5-10 lakhs (assuming Rs 1.2 cr car value on the upper end for simplicity sake) for roughly 150 days of usage (across 5 years), 3. Don't already own the luxury car (I mean you can't expect tbe ultra rich to go for this, they could just buy the car outright). I'm not any expert on this but it seems like the target market for this is so so miniscule. Everybody aspires to buy a luxury car koi nai bolega ki zindahi bhar alto chalana h but when it comes to make a buying decision, there will be very few people willing to shell out that kind of money that too for part ownership. Also this business model seems a lot like that Mahindra timeshare hotel thing where whenever you actually need to book a room, it won't be available. Take for example last week of December, literally everyone would want to use their car during the holiday season and so will I. Won't I be disappointed if the car is booked by someone else for the whole of December last week? So on and so forth for every holiday season. I'm literally competing with 11 other people for ownership. I don't think it is practical.

Someone ask Namita to Try and book Konkan Railway Ticket for peak season. A Fucking 01 sec delay while booking 3-4 months before can cost you your journey. We plan it 4 months ahead and wake up exactly at 7.30 am to book tickets at 8.00.01 am. Moral of the story: We plan. We do plan 2-3-4 months ahead. This guy's idea is brilliant.

This startup is going to become a unicorn 🦄 likh ke lelo, This guy is very humble and he is having hunger of success, He himself switch his carrier from CA to Coder at this age is very commendable, hats of to this guy. Namita and vinita dont know much about consumer requirement they will surely regret, if someone like me want to drive luxury car and for that if i have to give just 1.5 to 3lakh then its a great thing for me. I can do showoff i can plan 2-3 trips in a year.

To Namratha : In India independent house volumes are more than appartments. With independent house come renting and parking problems. This use case of parking is solved by this and lot of IT folkes will be part of this . Which covers majority of form 16 or tax fillers. Hence this model will work in a lenient fashion but will definitely work as IT WorKERS WORK AND PLAN A LOT

My cousin told me about this company around 6 months back, and I was initially excited. But the scheduling thing is a problem for me 'cause I'm not a trip-planning person. Even if I try to plan, if someone from the 12-member pool needs the car on the same day, it'll be an issue. Instead of planning for a whole year, if we could just schedule a month ahead, that'd be awesome. Most people can't plan their schedule for a whole year, but doing it a month ahead is totally doable.

Well i liked the entrepreneur and the app BUT i don't like the idea personally because for me my car like my mobile is a personal thing and i wouldn't like anyone else touching or using it..... Even from a hygiene point of view...... I would not want someone sitting in my seat or a family having a party in it..... I can't explain this but i would feel their skin oil and dead skin cells on everything.... I just don't like that on stuff like my car, my mobile,.... That sort of personal things.... I would want the car thoroughly deep cleaned professionally before using it..... But this is just my POV

That car dekho guy would have given jim exactly what he asked for. He might invest after this episode. This is such a bomb idea, and the guy is on a different level, his attention to detail and the way he knows the market. Was a little disappointed to see Anupam and Peeyush say they are putting in the money just as a bet, if it works it works if it doesn't it doesn't. They will make a lot of money out of this deal trust me.

Namita & Vineeta are still stuck in their Tier 2 and Tier 3 market which this is not even targeting. Market is the Tier 1 cities like Delhi-NCR, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata etc., where people don't have space anyway, maintenance & everything is costly, paying full amount upfront is difficult while Loan schemes aren't good anymore either. This is something which they aspire, but can't purchase. For someone like me, who's a traveller. If I compare say something budget option like VW Polo, Hyundai i20 or Suzuki Fronx... I can afford that but Can I rely on that to be good enough to travel say on Hilly Areas or long drives? No. On the other hand something like Thar at 1.5 lakhs, Innova Crysta at 2 lakhs, MG Hector at 1.5 lakhs, Mahindra Scorpio-N, Creta, Seltos, Virtus, Grand Vitara at 1.25 lakhs, and Jeep Wrangler at 6 lakhs is considerably affordable and less than an avg. Downpayment.

This service is very good for people who travel between 2/multiple cities frequently (that too on flights). This is also for those who want multiple cars. Because in price of a car it will give them option to select from 8/12 cars in which they have partial ownership. And those cars can be of different price segment. Imagine having acess to 6-7 luxary cars at cost of just rs 3LPA. It's surely going to become next big thing.😮
