Honestly, I don’t agree with you here. If you see US market you will easily find mops doing the exact same thing in 30$ so comparing that to the indian consumers there is no way people are gonna buy this at 3000-4500 rs. Also, this idea is not new. There are mops which have modes such as scrubing, mopping and both all kn one.

The smart mop guys should look for export business rather it's gonna be so helpful, and should target the mass distribution to MNCs or Hotels, etc. Brilliant engineers!

No don't in export rumbas fully automatic robo mops are the trend I think these guys should transition in to that and made affordable rumbas for India with there engineering

Export would be hard as outside India most homes are carpeted and only vacuum works. This could’ve been great for homes and also offices- corporate spaces too

@@akshayb320 For a mop, no way. its a gimmick where the end result is the exact same, maybe if the mop removed stains that traditional mops just dont, there would be a USP the value proposition is not enough to justify the price and most indians dont have that kind of disposable income for next to zero value add. with clothes, our social status is directly linked to what we're wearing .. people spend money they dont even have on clothes, thats why clothing is a much better business in india.

Another example during mop presentation,where sharks demonstrated poor understanding of technology and its growing usage in Indian household. However 800-1200 price seems reasonable for the mop.

Yes, I was thinking the same. These sharks have no clue how much burden this product takes off. A cleaning station is a good idea. Namita tries to be too smart, but her observations seemed too absurd to me, like someone who has no idea what's going on in the world.

Nope sharks are smart, the bottle based mop with spray for 899 is better and lighter, micro fibre based mops don’t work in India.

Regular spin mop comes at about 1k to 1200 which i bought during covid times ..i think there is a market for a 2k or 2.5 k smart mop. Young high earning individual or a upper middle class family as well can buy this .

Smart mop is actually a great invention sharks. There’s got to be an alternative between a roomba and a pocha. House help workers fall sick, have deaths in the family quite frequently. This is a great innovation and pocha’s efficiency depends on the person. You guys just don’t seem to invest unless it’s a sure shot. And if you’re advice was they’re focusing on the engineering, what the hell are you here for? To invest and to BRING in the business. I’m sorry to say but this is just rich people disregarding a product because they don’t think middle-class. This was a poor decision and you guys need to up your game when it comes to innovation without a 100% smart technology. It wasn’t even that pricey considering a pocha gets thrown out every few months.

Should the caspian boys have targeted the most premium market like dyson? Living in Canada, I agree, swiffer, we have to keep changing and buying new attachments. I dislike the mops that sharks were talking about. May be in India they dont care abotu their maids but I see use case in Canada.

I use a microfiber spray mop and its super convenient. It came handy in a lot of situations. But the one on Amazon has poor build design. The sharks are wrong in their assessment. il be willing to pay 3x for a sturdier build like this one. Because trust me , there will be frequent situations when this type of mop will be needed. Maids are scarce nowadays and will become increasingly scarce over time. You need something like this mop. You cant carry the bucket everywhere.
