I just want to let you know, that you give the best reviews EVERRRRRR!!!! Thank you so much for telling the truth and for demonstrating your products. Actions speak louder than words. YOU WERE GREAT!!! 🔥🔥🔥
I am a nurse taking care a covid patients. Very stressful lately... your videos seriously help me relax me after work. Thank you Keep them coming. I have bought 3 vacuums since I started watching your channel lol
Why do some nurses HAVE to always add "I am a nurse" you know a whole lot of us have stressful jobs and even take care of people without getting a pay packet. Covid and all.
I have this handheld and I must say. It's such a great vacuum. It doesn't have great suction but I didnt see it as a problem. The amount of dust it gets off our carpeted stairs with the motorized tool is insane. It's great for going around the house and doing the couch and corners of the room. I found the battery was perfect for our house. I can do about 4 rooms and 2 sets of stairs per charge and the suction stays strong till it runs out. Just make sure to plug in it after you use it or the battery power might decline over time.
Now that it’s time for a new vacuum I told my husband “STOP!!! Vacuum wars ONLY!” After we bought our first shark on your recommendation (Apex zero-M) you are now a household name for us 😂 Thank you for being one of the few content creators providing TRULY VALUABLE content!! For 3 years we have LOVED our shark and I’m looking forward to finding our second beloved addition to our home arsenal 😆
I have the older "Pet Perfect", and can confirm that it is relatively easy to reduce it's air-flow by plugging it up. It isn't meant to replace a full-size vacuum... and it absolutely does not. On the other hand, if you're careful to do upkeep with a high frequency, it does well for quick messes. My predominant use is to sweep the kitchen, but then vacuum up the pile instead of using a dust-pan. - I have also discovered that once the cloth filter gets dirty, you'll see a noteworthy decrease in performance. I use a shop-vac to clean that cloth-filter, and it's very, very fast, and very, very effective.
I was looking up a comparison video and I am glad you brought up the different types of models because they look exactly the same besides the color difference thank you for that for attention to detail
I bought one a few month ago. I wait a while for you to do a review, I believe I even wrote to you requesting you to review it. Either way, I’m happy with my purchase and happier now that your results match my perception. Highly recommend this vacuum.
My review: Pricey but does the job well. My pet hair story, I just happened to be at wall mart looking for new full sized Shark Vacuums when I spotted this shark ultra petpro cordless with brush. I couldn't see a price so asked a clerk to scan it. It was an unadvertised mark down which was still more than I wanted to spend but the clerk said if I didn't like it I could bring it back. So I bought it. I don't really have anything to compare it to except my shop vac and a very old upright fullised. I agree with everything in the review and would like to add that I have light beige carpet throughout my house. My old standard vaccum cleaner does not get close to the baseboards or furniture and is discolored. I was amazed at how well and how much junk this little vaccum with brush attachment picked up. I started going along the walls throughout the house and soon ran out of power. Left it plugged in overnight and continued. I would purchase it again. My friend had a full sized shark vaccum with hose option which is what I was originally looking at but this small cordless unit is very handy. Directions say don't use it to pick up liquids.
Best reviews ever. I bought one of these because of this review. It’s the BEST for dog hair on the microfiber couch! I bought a shark apex awhile back because of this Channel too(love it still!). The only thing I hate about the shark apex is the hose is so stiff and hard to deal with for quick jobs. This hand held vacuum is perfect for the couch when I just need to quickly vacuum it off!
Another excellent review! I completely agree with your comparison/explanation of how this fits into shark's lineup. I've had a w1 for almost two years and I still love it, I use it for quick jobs and dusting. I don't have pets living with me. I bought the ultracyclone for my parents, who have dogs and a cat. It works great there, handling a lot of hair easily. The w1 just wouldn't be as well suited for them. I agree that it doesn't feel overly powerful, could use a better filter, and I wish it had a real dusting brush instead of a scrubbing brush. But still, it's a pretty good handheld.
I have the W1 for home and I have this one at the shop. I find the W1 so much easier to empty the bin at the end. This one is so awkward for me. I have to switch hands and it is a 2 hand job opening the debris container for me. The W1 is so much easier.
Hi. I purchased two Deebot 930's AND Tineco A11 Master as a result of watching your videos for 2 years now. I think that your reviews, are the best in the world of vacuums. You are an invaluable resource on the internet and an awesome person. Your series on Robot Vacuum Lineups are also very useful. Just like all your other tests, comperacings and reviews. And since I'm a fan of Deebot I want to ask you to make a episode on Deebot's Line up if you could. It's time for me to buy a third one and I'm struggling to find information that will help me understand the difference between all their models. I think your inside in the Shark, Roborock and Rumba Buyers Guide episodes was very helpful. Thanks you for all your hard work and dedication. Happy Holidays!
I loved my Pet Perfect. The suction was about as equal as a regular vacuum. I no longer have it. It looks really annoying that with the newer one you have to move forward and back to get up fur instead of a clean straight line. The 2 extra minutes of battery time on the newer model will be spent on going over one spot back and forth. I imagine beach sand bouncing all over the car with that back and forth motion.
Great video. You reviewed this in the best handheld vacuums review, but without the pet brush. Can you say how it performed with pet hair compared to the Bessel Pet Eraser? I’m deciding between the two and I’m not sure which direction to go. Thanks so much!
I noticed it had a weak suction. (That’s what he said) lol. But it actually picked up just as much or more than a normal vacuum. It’s great for small spaces, cars, and couches. I like this thing so far. Picks up hair like a PRO!
You said other vacuums do better on car mats, which ones? I’m trying to get a new vacuum that’s good with embedded dirt in car mats. Shop vacs don’t have enough agitation
WAIT THEY GOT RID OF THE OLD HANDHELD!?!? Bruh those days were the good days. 2010-2014 😌 I watched the OG navigator infomercial and I could never find the infomercial now
@@therealbos4629 I think he was mentioning that original Navigator before the first Lift Away model. I wish they would put that infomercial on the old original Navigator back.
I have this vacuum and have used it heavily for 3 months and I love it! 2 cats and a dog, mostly carpet, and have cleaned the car with it. I actually find the battery life to be fabulous, and more than the 12 minutes usually
Very nice detail review. I purchased one and hoping 10-12 minutes battery life will be enough to clean my SUV. I wonder, how long is the battery life-span? Is the battery replaceable?
This product is 3 years old and I’m just wondering why it’s still being pushed to the market. I want to get it but have no pets. I just want it for human hair. My wife’s hair on the floors mainly. I wish it was cheaper
Hey -- you put the vehicle floor-mats on a board and then clamped them in place. Great. *But what works **_EVEN BETTER_* is to put them on a grate, or screen, or something that allows air-flow *through* the mat, and then you'll tend to get a bit more. Not all floor-mats are well-suited for this, but some are, and the ones that are *really* benefit from this.
Just got mine a week ago and am surprised on how fast the battery dies, I’m talkin it’s dead after my area rug in front of the door, my old school purple guy would clean it w/ease in under a minute, but that’s why I searched this very video. THX for the info & just curious if I’m the only one who still calls these contraptions Dust Busters??? Ya outta seek one out just for a shits & giggles video!!! I’d dig it & most 80’s kidz probably would too!!!
I don’t know if it was just mine but that plastic clear mouth cracked on its own and I have to return it. If you buy it be careful w the amount of pressure you use.
Hey, love your channel! Lookin forward to more reviews (I'm personally waiting for the vertex stick corded vacuum). I just have one comment. Your tests to show how well vacuums can suck, you always move slowly over the debris on carpet. The problem with this is that no one vacuums this way cause they can't see the debris. Most people vacuum with a lot faster forward/back motion. Do you think you could add something more realistic like this to your testing? Anyway, keep up the great work!
Are there any vacuum's in this category that DOES have good filtration? Currently the Shark W1 is $120, Pet Pro Plus is $80 (this review), and Pet Pro is $60. Anything in the under $80 range that has good filtration and seal???
A slightly-longer battery life on a hand-held unit is really, really pleasant. The ones that only last for ~10 minutes are not good for a vehicle. Magically, the one's that go 10+ minutes seem to be just right.
I need power on suction for tight areas like under seat and in between seats no animal hairs just dust and small trash can you recommend one that connects to the lighter for my truck?
One big disadvantage in my view, is the lack of swappable battery. Not only does this mean you have to wait for it to recharge if you are in the middle of a job and it quits on you, but this also ties the life of vacuum to the battery. Once it dies, it renders the vacuum useless. Thanks for testing, and please test more hand held vacuums.
Yeah, that is such a big deal. The W1, you can still buy battery replacements. I have both but I love the W1 much more because of how easy it is to dump the debris. This one, I find so hard to open the debris container. It is a 2-handed job for me. The W1 is so pleasant.
Do you put them through the Geiger counter test? I bought a vacuum off of ebay once and the dust bin/filter area was throwing off almost 40 uSv/hr from 12 inches away and the 'mouth' of the nozzle was at twenty-five from about half that distance. It was supposed to be a new vacuum, but I think it had been refurbished after being used in a lab in a country not regulated by the NRC/OSHA/ENSREG. I think you should add a Geiger counter test. **nodnod**
Hello! I'm trying to buy a vacuum for pet hair. I guess this is the one. But... Can you tell me the difference between 950 and 951? What does it means in 951 self cleaning motorized hand tool, which is not 'self cleaning' in the 950 version? I'm Italian and the 951 is coming from USA and it's more expansive. I can find the 950 here and it's cheaper, but I wanted to understand the difference. I need this so much... Your rewies are great, I didn't even know Shark before. I was looking for Bissell, and found your videos! Thanks!
Hey I love your channel and your videos but something I have to deal with all the time is I have a bunny who lives on high pile carpet, needless to say hay gets everywhere. Every vacuum that I've tried for it just ends up clogging up somewhere in the hose very bad this handvac looks like since it has a pretty direct airpath and good agitation with rhe brush I was wondering if it could handle hay. Honestly I think it would be absolutely amazing if you made a video going over the best vacuums for hay, me and anyone with a bunny, guinea pig, or chinchilla would really appreciate it.
I ended up buying this for work and I laughed because I clogged it the very first minute with a post-it note. Laughing. But I re-watched your video and gave it another shot. Post-it note to self. It doesn't clog with most things, but don't vacuum post-it notes.
Wish mine worked like this. Can't even pick up hair right in front of it. My brush roll has bristles even though I thought it would look like yours. I can't empty the debris so, I don't use it the button won't push in. I have to have a second person help to press it hard enough.
Great Review on the Shark. My wife & I have a Shark upright (I believe it the NV-801) & LOVE IT ....perfect for our apartment and it's very easy to maneuver. I was looking for a handheld vac and was looking at the model you reviewed , but like you the price turned me off...to me its expensive for a handheld vac. I was wondering if you have reviewed the ThiEYE Cordless Handheld Vacuum Cleaner (Rechargeable 13000/8000 PA). It claims to have very strong suction AND lightweight. It's on Amazon for $55.
Should let us know how much you paid for it, so if it ever becomes cheaper (like it is now) we can reference this and make a solid judgement as to whether the price point improves to a point where it becomes a viable purchase. Aside from that, fantastic review fella!
I made the mistake of buying the Shark Pet Handheld vacuum thinking that motorized brush could really dig up pet hair off furniture cushions. After a few weeks, the hairs tangled up on the edge and no more spinning (no, I do not own a gorilla ! Just 3 cats!) Id be very curious to see a handheld that has a motorized brush that can combat pet hair
I would buy this for my car, in desperate need of a good cleaning , since i have unwanted dog hair from rudely careless neighbor, shaking her dog towels on our shared walkway. I just would like to know if there is another good handheld vacuum with hepa filter and complete seal, if there is any.
Does anyone know when the ultra cyclones spin? I’ve noticed that mine does not spin. Is this just the way it operates (not meant to spin) or does it spin ?
This takes 4 hours to charge. Looking at some of the other handhelds on Argos and Currys websites they take 10-12 hours to charge. Some also do 4 or 5 hours charge for a few £s cheaper or dearer than the £59.99 for the Shark. I'm torn between buying this or the Hoover Jovis+ which in Currys is £65.
I looked up the UK version of this and it doesn’t have the same anti hair wrap mechanism as this one, just regular bristles, which makes me wonder what other differences there are.
I cleaned mine very good to take to a pawn shop. The sponge must not have been 100% dry. I blew it out with an air compressor. Now it blinks 8 times when I go to charge it. It's not charging and running. Got any idea what the 8 blinks mean? 🐀🐾
I took it apart. Couldn't find any water in it and the logic board was dry. As it sits, the blinks are getting more. Now it's up to 10 blinks trying to charge it. I don't see any reset buttons in it. It's 2 years old, so there's no warranty to it.
