Very cool design. There is no more dual road helmet. Will you consider to make a Explore-R carbon skin again ? I got one and… crashed it. Now I can't find one anymore which let me sad because the neck protectors for cold / rainy days was a game changer for me. Also the little feature to lift a bit and get a bit of air was very cool.
so, when chin down, you can't open the screen on a gap? i always do this because i feel claustrophobic in a fully closed helmet, and my glasses keep fogging on
@@giuliobuccini208 there is no faulty design here, its a matter or perspective. If you don't like this particular design, you can move on to another one, there is a plethora of choice.
@@toggyuel tbh this is the only issue i thought of. Since there is not a single actual review out there yet we can't know for sure. And ofc we won't know anytime soon as long as this channel never replies XD
Well I wonder how the customer service would be now. I have 2 Shark Evo-One helmets. I think the visor mechanism is updated by a friendly dealer like 4 times, and I still get scratches on my visor and pinlock! 5 years warranty they state, but is completely worthless if the customer service is not reachable whatsoever and the dealers are no more willing to accept the helmet with visor scratch complaints!
You can put citycruiser visor on the evojet, I did it and it fitted but you can't put evojet visor on citycruiser helmet because there is no clip for the locking mechanism when fully closed and it stands open a few millimeters
Hello Greefin, We have read your comment and to reply to your question, although the design may seem similar, there are big differences between the 2 helmets due to their different vocation. The EVOJET is different because it is a modular requiring elements allowing its jet and full face homologation. So, we are sorry because you can't make a CITYCRUISER an EVOJET and vice versa. Thank you for your understanding, The SHARK Team
Hello Smudger We have just read your comment and we are sorry for what happened to your helmet. We invite you to contact your retailer to proceed to a warranty claim. Our teams are informed of this concern and do their utmost to find a solution to this problem. We renew our apologies for this situation, The SHARK Team
@@smudger372 We fully understand your feelings and are sorry for the inconvenience. In any case, do not hesitate to contact your retailer. We hope that the next visor will be free of concern and if this were to happen again, then know that the replacement is supported. @@SHARKHELMETSVIDEO I have a love hate relationship with this helmet I did my CBT today I absolutely love the visibility of the helmet but the anti fog layer started to peel of dramatically as I was riding after I got my replacement visor put in place
This is a no-go for me. In the city (for example in summer) I would travel 99% with the helmet visor open. No good for the safety. It would be better a jet with a very thin chin-bar and independent visor.
Interesting design but having no pin lock rules it out for me. Fogging up and not even being able to crack the visor open a wee bit isn’t helpful. Shame really :-(
"Guys, here are a list of things you need to say. Make it sound like you mean it. Here's a bucket of cash." "Why golly vision gee, this vision helmet here be one of them best vision helmets we've ever visually seen. Look at that vision. The vision. Vision." Marvel's Vision: "Sup?"
I have the same problem with the helmet. I buy another visor, smoke visor, and it has the same problem. I tell about the problems to Shark and I have 2 weeks since that and nothing happend. They told me they would replace my visor but I haven’t received anything so far :(
@@dooh08 I went back to the store who sold me the helmet, they mentioned they can replace a new visor for me but the same problem will happen again cos it’s manufacturing issues. Unless Shark has a solution for a new design that address this short fall.
OMG, this helmet design is SO bad I can't believe they actually are going to make it! And no - SHARK is definitely NOT the first brand to have a dual homologation: Caberg has it for years. So as the bunch of other brands.
Shark please refund my $$. Bought this helmet less than 1 month, the inner film on the visor is peeling already!! What lousy shit product are y’all making when we are paying a bomb for this helmet. Please respond!
