Bro others weren't against him , he's inventions weren't even inventions , he's products not even the one you'll use by yourself, nor he's clear about the company, he just said 'im inventor I'm hardworking , when I'll go my invention will live on" he maybe himself won't use that foldable cup and carry around, so he was like 1/3 cooked for this show , plus he wasn't even considering the lack of he's business model that is multiple crappy models of existing similar products , but he kept fantasizing him In front of them , so Ashneer was right, he was answering like a kid with Nothin proper arrangements , just showing off himself with bad products and trying to be 'wannabe superstar', read whole again if you still not understand why I stated wannabe superstar in end

Are u mad his main company is boat. And if I was in his place or any other shark was his place he won't let grow his competition which can be a threat in future . He saved his company & his employers. He tried to help him & himself too . If u r an entrepreneur u will do same what aman does. All shark said that this hammer boy will be ruined but he is growing successfully with Aman . Infact every deal Aman made on shark tank is proving fruitful for both Aman. He is fabulous businessman . No one will kick his own bread & butter to feed others let's be practical.

It's about valuation as a rule you have to give the asked amount so sharks negotiate with equity percentage and if they feel there's a lot of risk then they compensate with debt but ultimately give the same amount

Bottom line if some one wish to sell you 100 INR item in 200, and you have knowledge about it, you will negotiate for at least wrt market price of its market valuation based on its future projections as well as margins. Even that many knows. So I dont know if you got my Query properly or not.

@@sasodekar I'm sorry if I am wrong I was just trying to solve your doubt with as much knowledge I have cuz you asked how do they bag it for a better equity than offered so I just shared why they do it and how do they avoid risks now coming to fair or not it's upon the entrepreneur if he's looking for guidance then it obviously comes at a price as they are not passive investors and as you've seen all of the episodes you might remember when Piyush said he has diluted 40% of his shares for 28 Cr and it was a mistake he didn't say investors were unfair to him so entrepreneurs can ask whatever they want but that doesn't mean it's fair from their side too... As you'd remember a guy once asked about 300 cr for 1200 cr valuation without strong base so as expected no one invested. Don't know If this is your query or not but I just tried to help 😊
