@@dankreviews1560 I think future riddim‘s already sort of a different thing, I agree that this track could be classified as future riddim but not because it‘s a blend of oldschool future house and dubstep. Genre naming is pretty convoluted ig lol.

@@axonmegabloxxson2486 I think it's safe to say genre is more like a spectrum than a hard defined label. What is important is the most known and used terms for representing such music. So yes this may not be considered future riddim in the future because of it's uniqueness but as of today most of the songs elements would fall under "future riddim" I would argue.

indeed, but i like it since this kind of sound design is sparse. Only franky nuts and oliverse that I know of using future house stabs, I hope there's more dubstep artist use this kind of sounds since it make the dubstep more groovy and have that nostalgic note.
