How could Sharon ever think she was a bad mom?? 😔 Isn't the whole point if parenting to raise good, healthy, productive adults?? Kelly and Jack seem like excellent parents and just all-around good, caring, funny humans! Hats off to Mama Sharon! ❤
Ozzy had to retire from touring and doing live concerts. I think this podcast still feeds his desire to get out and preform, and its brilliant to see him still getting out there for the peeps. Love you Ozzy, you are and always will be the Master of Heavy Metal, and to Sharon and the kids, well done for supporting Dad in your own ways, and thanks for letting us share in your crazy family stories. The love and respect you all have for one another shines through.
Definitely! I've seen Ozzy live 3 times. As much as I'd love to see him again, I totally respect the man and his retirement from live shows is so well deserved! I'm *THOROUGHLY* enjoying this family podcast! They're able to do it on THEIR terms. Unedited and unscripted.
Yes, same!!!! ❤ I listened while strolling the beach this morning. It made my walk go much faster and easy...and further!!! I was paying more attention to the podcast than my surroundings and completely missed my turn around by a half mile. 😂
I felt for Sharon when she asked if the kids thought she was a bad mum. 😢Sharon your amazing and from what I’ve seen of you over the years on different shows or interviews etc I’ve always thought you were an awesome mum. ❤
She's an awesome, feisty, fierce, super loving, generous, encouraging, supportive mum. She's just a really wild, mischievous mum too! Absolutely a role model of mine for the last 25 years.
Every Tuesday morning, I get ready for work with the Osborne's. Thanks for making Tuesday bareable and giving us a reason to look forward to it. I love you guys so so much!!!!!
You guys are doing a great job with this pod. Seriously it's great. Jack is doing a great job with leading this. Jack Osbourne honestly needs his own late night show at some point in his life. He and his fam would be SOOO much better than Fallon, Corden, Colbert, any of them honestly. Dudes a proper entertainer these days.
Love Oz to death man! He has been the soundtrack to my life for 20+ years. Had the pleasure of seeing him multiple time by himself and with Sabbath. Just thankful for him and the art he has given us throughout his lifetime..
Hell yeah ,I was so curious when a few podcastes back..about sharon's disco song!!..gonna watch this episode now RIGHT now...👁👁 cheers to all from Holland ❤
I loooove this family so much! ❤️ been a fan since.. i don't even know.. since i was 10 years old or something. My dad was a sabbath fan, and when The Osbournes firsr came on TV, i just became obsessed 😂 and I've been a huge fan ever since. ❤
When Jack was talking about Ultimate Din, it reminded me of what is in hindsight the funniest moment of the entire MTV show. He and Kelly argue, she stomps out of his room, he breaks the fourth wall, looks straight at the camera and goes “god just kill me if I ever have a daughter”. I think the universe heard Jack that day and was like “game on”.
Hollywood is too woke. No one is real. Sharon is a prime example of someone who is real and what happens to them anymore. News channrls have lost their way too.
22:22 😮Brilliant as a family that has suffered thru addiction + are keenly aware of the genetics: This is Nobel worthy for your candor + insights! MrsO immense gratitude 🙏 the denial, the endless self autopsies on what a mum, dad, sibling could have done differently is universal! ❤ And Jackie + Kelly; oh my darlings your babies are blessed in your awareness - add the support of their Gram + GranDad - they will become amazing humans. WITH deepest respect + feeling that this Podcast is Cosmically more important to the zeitgeist than either you or we know.. Do not be surprised when a different + greater success is ahead for your Media Company, endeavours + Legacy. Mrs O; not even your Father could have envisioned the road ahead..Trailblazers: these Osbournes! And Bravo for dearest Ozzz he is the Godfather of the misfits that do inherit the earth because of their generosity of spirit - Love wins out! ❤
I was addicted to opiates for a few years so I was put on methadone. That led me to a 5yr addiction to that. It was worse than the pills I was on previously. For one the clinc never wants you to get off of it and you realize they are just socially accepted dealer. Secondly getting off of methadone is excruciating. I did it been clean for years. The withdraw and regret are enough to never look back for me.
My favorite part of this is how Sharon couldn’t remember a single thing about the song but once you said you had the song the amnesia lifted and she remembered every detail 😂🤍 love you forever, Sharon.
Thank you for the real talk on addiction . I lost my husband and son . My other son is in prison . I always feel like what more could I have done . Thank you for the truth about guilt. I qm terrified to do tough live . I did it with my sons one is in prison the other 2 are in pine boxes .
I am just coming up on the otherside of My Only Son's Full Blown Addiction to Fentanyl! 38 yrs of age. We have lived through Suicide, Beatings, Epilepsy, In hiding for 10 yrs, Murder, Deaths but going through Addiction was way worse than All the Others! Not only did he almost die, I am still recuperating! I am 56 and it has completely torn me down. I am mending. A Mother's Love!
Sharon is right about that chocolate not tasting the same (the tv show QI actually did a bit about it), it has to do with this preservative they have to add to the milk in America that makes chocolate have a bit of an aftertaste that tastes like vommit...
I couldn’t resist buying an original vinyl copy of The Sheikettes off eBay today!! So funny how even Ozzy didn’t about it. She really kept that a secret all these years.. 😂
I swear every episode just gets better & better ! The point where yall covered addiction! I swear thats the magic of your podcast for me ,you guys always manage to bring something up where im just dying to be in the room & be apart of that conversation ! Addiction is such a tricky subject to discuss & you all handled it beautifully. Also i think the word jack was looking for was Enabling/Enabler . Basically back then it was very much the attitude that if you didnt show that tough love luke sharron mentioned along with setting boundaries you were an enabler & unhealthy to the addict. But i think now its pretty much come down to just dont give them money to support their habits. I have addicts in my life & very much use what some would say is tough love because i have no contact with them but i call it a boundary. I have two littlels im protecting & i don't want them exposed to addiction so early like i was by people who are supposed to love & care but cant due to their illness
12 steps did not work for me. Being around other addicts, going to meetings where we talked about it, just made me want to do it. For me I had to completely replace the people in my life. I found a nice casual church that had a lot of activities and events. New people I had no party memories, staying busy, getting outside of myself. That's the only thing that worked for me-18 years and 5 months sober since 5/5/05. I love you all and Ozzy you are in my daily prayers. Hope your neck is healing well. Your biggest fan in Wisconsin 😊
I agree with you about the 12 step meetings, they never worked for me, and they also just made me hyper focus on using. Suboxone really helped me in a huge way. Congrats on your sobriety, 18+ yrs is something to be proud of... Great advice, btw about getting involved with a positive community, it is very helpful.
I've worked in substance abuse treatment for the last 25yrs and just left the field due to some of the changes you mentioned to help people in a different way doing intuitive and psychic work now. AA is amazing. Thank you all for sharing your experience, strength, and hope. You all are inspiring❤
What do you think about mushrooms in helping addicts get in touch with why they use & overcoming their struggles? I am not sure about mushrooms being able to help people in that situation. What do you think?
Hi i have a question im a perc and vicodin addict i was taking 50 percs a day mixed with xanax im now 6 years clean but ive been taking suboxone since then should i be taking suboxone this long? Im scared to stop because i dont want to be dopesick ever again is it normal to be taking suboxone this long?
@HeadNtheClouds often it's usually a dual issue mental health and addiction so the use of any hallucinagin can be risky in making mental health symptoms worse. As someone with mental health issues I wouldn't take that risk but that's just me. I've seen a lot of people try that path and have it go poorly but also know everyone is different. EMDR and Brainspotting are really helpful in treating trauma in my experience.
I just loved you guys since the MTV days! So great you guys have a podcast together. It's been over 30 years since Ozzy converted me to metal music and I'm still jamming to it! Sharon, I believe you were bullied off your show. Love you guys and keep jamming!
I agree 💯.When Sharon left the show, I absolutely got so pissed I never watched it again. They treated her so shitty. Let's face it that was their loss not hers😮
This podcast hit so close to my heart! I'm going through an addiction problem with one of my Sons rn.😢 It's absolutely breaking my heart!! Cheers to Sharon & Ozzy for being the Greatest parents!! ✌️🫶🇺🇸 Lastly loved the disco track!! 👏 TSVMFS!! 🎶
I agree with Jack AA/NA isn’t the only way out! Some it works better for then others but there are other ways to find Recovery!! Opiates is a real epidemic and the fentynal issue is really killing so many people it’s heartbreaking!!❤♥️ I’m also like Kelly tough love didn’t work for me it pushed me farther away and into more pain and deeper into addiction. I personally needed love and encouragement and non judgment i think I judged myself the harshest so I didn’t need more!! Tough love just broke me! ❤ 💔 I wish I could help all lost out there!!
Sounds pretty darn good Mrs Osborne! Your voice is sounding good there and no shame at all, better than a bunch of today’s hopefuls for sure! Great podcast and Jack is a natural and it’s awesome to see your dad looking and sounding really good…all of you are sounding great! Much health + happiness to the whole Osborne family! God bless you all!
Kelly is too beautiful to be interupted. I was fortunate enough to spend time with Kelly, Sharon, and Ozzy. In a tent in Vancouver parking lot at a high school when she was shooting her series. I was a film dresser What a fun nutty family. Ill never forget it. None of the students wanted to go back to class.
Why doesn't Sharon rerelease that song, was it a song or a whole album? LoL. Rerelease that for MS and Parkinson's Charitable Foundations. Just an idea.
Sharon, you were a great mom!! Your kids were loved and cared for and provided for, and allowed to explore and experience. You and Ozzy raised great kids. ❤
This family reminds me of my own crazy, loud family with our own prior addictions and issues. We have all come a long way. You can see they love each other just like I love my family!! Ozzy is Legend and Sharon is Queen!! Jack and Kelly have grown before my eyes and have become so fantastic in their own right. Entertainment at its finest!
Sharon and ozz did great, look, as a family they're together expressing real feelings to thousands of strangers weekly. I think they raised them perfect.
@@paulsmith9192 … Actually, they did. Everything like that, when they’re asking for viewers input is on their Community Tab right here on RU-vid. The one they have now is Favorite memories from OzzFest. 😊
I became a devotee of all things Ozzy right from when I first heard Paranoid back in 1970 when I was 11. How wild was that but I wouldn’t be who I am without being influenced by such awesome music. Love your podcasts and those intimate little glimpses into your family dynamic. You guys are so fucking hilarious. Appreciate your authenticity and honesty. ❤️😊💛 Love from the UK xxxx
Jack is like Sharon - practical, cerebral, responsible and Kelly is like Ozzy - emotional, sensitive, impulsive. You need all kinds to make a relationship work.
Ozzy you need to know that your fan base doesn't care if you are in a chair on stage we will come. I know that your pride fucks with you about that but we desperately need you one last go around. They have the tech now they could move you around the stage you could make your chair shoot water or go over the crowd. We would rock just as hard as we ever did much love.
Sharon was honestly a really good mum! Reminds me of my mum. Don’t be hard on yourself Sharon! You raised very intelligent kind children! Be proud! You did well! ❤❤❤
The way Sharon said she feels like that they’re hinting that she isn’t a good mum just shows how she is a great mum!! The fact that her kids are so comfortable opening up and being themselves and that she can approach them with that question speaks volumes on how amazing their relationship is. And the fact that they both have an amazing relationship with each parent and want to podcast with them! It’s a beautiful family dynamic
the prince of darkness has the biggest heart. how wholesome is that? they are all fantastic. being a similar age to Jack & Kelly, felt like i grew up with "The Osbournes" figuratively on TV and literally. Props to their parenting
I love the conversations on this podcast! You are all so down to earth that it seems like when our family has conversations. I totally find myself adding to the conversation in my head. The addiction portion hits home the most I lost both my parents at the age of 51 both way too young. You all remind me of them. You all got out of addiction at a good time this fentynol shit is killing everyone! Glad your all still here! Keep the episodes comin! Sharon.....I need your song as my ringtone❤❤❤❤❤ Reuinon❤❤❤
I used to have a drinking problem but as soon as my daughter was born ❤ something clicked and I said no more 🙃 and now I have been sober for 16 years, but still want a drink now and again 😊 I love the osbournes so honest and down to earth 🌎 💖 😊
Sharon...you're an amazing Mum...look around you at your amazing children that you and Ozzy raised...the proof is in the pudding and they are great! You ROCK!
Jack, dont make the mistake of a blanket promise that theres no consequence if they're honest. My parents said that to me and i counted on and manipulated that. When i came home and admitted to commiting a felony i expected that to be the end of it cuz i was honest. However, i knew the cops were hot on my trail and i think i expected my parents to "make it go away" and i was outraged that they didnt. I felt so betrayed. I see it more clearly now😅 but avoid promises you cant keep.
F*** you are making me feel VERY old. I was hooked on your TV show and you still make me pee myself laughing 20 years on. You're never gonna be irrelevant - your already icons!
Ive been sober 11 years! I struggled with AA, especially being a single mum without support. Was impossible to get a female sponcer. So did it myself at home without rehab! I made a promise to both my kids and i work hard everyday to keep that promise xxx
I didn't know I could ask a question, im a total ozzy head huge fan and wanna ask ozzy if he will be putting out another album since him performing is unlikely now thanks jack
1 of the best podcasts and families out there. they cover so much in an hour, every topic is interesting and real, nobody is talking over each other or having 3 minute ads *cough* Smartless *cough* and it's just all around great. keep on killing it!! ❤❤
OMG great episode indeed .👑💎🎙️ Sharron, how old were you when you did your disco song ? An where were you living then ? 🌐 Like were your disco💃🏻🕺🏻🕺🏼💃🏾🕺🏿💃🏽days spent here in the USA ? If so which coast 🗺️ (E./W.) were you on ? 🤔 Just curious ? 🥰 Anyways, seriously I love you all ! 💕🖤💕🖤💕🖤💕🖤💕🖤 It sure does make my week to see your show, thank you so much. 💯% 👈😉👍 ! 💕 You all 💕, N.W. coast USA (Originally of SF/CA)
Yaaaay! I love that you guys are back so much! I love that you guys call each other mommy and daddy❤ I can see the love, I can feel the love and I am so here for it! Long live Ozzy!
Love this family ! A) Sharon you are a top mum never doubt that fact ! B) ozzy is also a top dad. C) jack you are more English than you are American your favourite food and comedian choice reveals that. And D) I literally could listen to you all all day and this podcast has really made me happy and reminds me of the early 2000s being a teenager watching your shows with my family who all adore you , makes me very nostalgic of a great time in the world. I’m now 35 with kids myself and still relate to you all. Lots of love from Siobhan over in England 🩵
Jack, Y'all never really interrupt eachother. You guys should donate that interruption button, to The Lawrence bros at The Brotherly Love podcast! 😆😆😆 They need that. lol. // Great pod here, as always! ❤️
Also I would say I was on the MAT program(medicated assisted treatment) I was in the program for 6 years and have been clean and sober for 10 years. It would've never worked if I didn't do therapy and a program with it. So yes the medicated treatment does work, it just depends on the person. If they want to get better or not.
Absolutely love the Osbourne family. I Constantly just sit and make TikTok’s of them telling people to go watch or listen to this because anyone who doesn’t is missing out and for some reason it bothers me that people haven’t heard it or know about it
Since this podcast I've binge watched all the old osbournes episodes, you guys are brilliant and such a fun family to watch and have been on such a journey! I make live visuals for DJs, can we revive Sharon's song with some 3D? Hahaha
PS - My Dad is 30 years sober and I did a stint of going sober after finding out I'm bipolar. It's not an easy ride so again I've got such respect for you all being so open!
That's what I need to do (binge watch ___) 🤔 cause TBH I ain't seen them 🤭 wasn't really around and watching TV much at that time. I'm an old rocker chick from the 1980's so w/o a doubt long time fan of Sabbath & Ozzy. So I really do need to see the whole lot of those shows that's for sure. An yeah get w/Sharron about remaking that song of hers for sure 👈😉 that sounds like a fabulous idea indeed !
