Just to give more insight into who Sharon Tate is, she was Catholic while here with us, which means she was a person who believes in Jesus Christ and she has eternal life through him. Those that believe in him will see her and Paul again. Quoting from articles and interviews with her family-Although her time period was the 1960s, Tate was raised catholic and identified herself as a Catholic until her death. From 1948 to 1955, while living in Pasadena, Texas she attended St. Pius V Catholic School. @@Teenincyart Thanks for this information - I wasn't aware of Sharon's religion. I checked on the other victims who died on that night and found that they were all Catholic. However, they all seemed to be very much part of the 1960's counter culture which involved freer sexuality and drug taking (Sharon did not take drugs). But what if they had not been Christians? Does that mean that they would have gone to hell? Tex Watson and Susan Atkins, two of the Manson murderers who took part in the events of that night became Born Again Christians while in prison. When I joined a fundamentalist Christian church they believed that anyone who was not 'saved' - which included those who believed in a different form of Christianity including Catholics - would go to hell. At the time of the counter culture 'hippie' movement, young men whose average age of 19, were being drafted to fight in the Vietnam War were many horrors were being committed against the Vietnamese people, similar to what happened to these victims. The man who began this war was one Richard Nixon, fundamentalist Christian. This doesn't make an awful lot of sense to me.

My late Father was drafted, my Uncle , and other relatives were in the Vietnam war. My father was shot twice and paralyzed each time during his time there , making a remarkable recovery to walk again each time. He was drafted in 1967 as were my Uncle and relatives. President Johnson was the one who started drafting them in 1964. My Father and others loved Nixon because he brought them home. The last soldiers came home in 1973. Yes Sharon and the others were part of the 1960's scene and culture, yes, some of those that murdered them became born again Christians, I would suggest referring straight to God himself by praying to him and reading the Word of God to answer your question about who is condemned to hell. As humans, we error and misguide, including this sinner so the best source is God himself. @susangavaghan

@@Teenincyart I have watched a number of interviews on the Manson murders with an author named Tom O'Neill. O'Neil has spent 22 years writing a book entitled 'Chaos - The Truth Behind the Manson Murders.' He claims that Manson was experimented on with mind control drugs while he was in prison and that he was part of a CIA plot to discredit the counter culture and hippy movement and that the murders were part of this plan. Richard Nixon would have been in office during this time. The murders did bring the idealism of the 1960's counter culture to a halt and after Manson the hippy movement became tainted. Manson was not a hippy but an ex con who was bitter about not being given a music contract and using drugs, got control of the minds of these young people. What I have always found difficult to understand is how on earth these otherwise normal young people ended up doing something so horrific, seemingly without any conscience. I ordered the book and I am very much looking forward to reading it. I believe I am in tune with God. I am a spiritualist and have used my spiritualist healing to heal a number of people from cancer. I believe religion is often used as a tool to separate people and dehumanize others. It is used in wars - for example the Vietnam war and against the Jews in Nazi Germany (the Germans were Christians). I have seen a movie entitled 'The Spoils Of War', a true story of a young Vietnamese girl who was kidnapped and repeatedly raped by a group of US soldiers. One of the soldiers tried to help her escape but she was captured and eventually murdered. I have read a book about former soldiers in Vietnam and this was a common occurrence. Yet so called Christian leaders were happy to support this war.

Yes, it was but I hope you find this video as a celebration of their lives versus the other videos that are out there. Also, Sharon was a Roman Catholic so she believes in Jesus Christ so we will see her again.
