Sharpay and Taylor were the best characters in that show. They had something they were passionate about, they had goals outside of high school and were ambitious, and didn't let high school infatuation distract them. And that kind of female character is usually villainized.
Seen a few comments saying Kelsey was being arrogant at the start... she wasnt. As Troy says, it's her show. She wrote the songs and the lyrics as she wanted them to be, with meaning for all of them. To use HSM as an example, Gabriella sings "me and you" as a sad song because (to her mind) Troy has just rejected her and their duet. It's slow and in a minor key. Now, imagine it fast and upbeat. Would it fit her upset mood and feeling of rejection? No. In things that contain choreography like this, how it is written matters.
I don’t blame Sharpay for telling Kelsey off at the start there. Kelsey was being very arrogant. It’s like a new person at work trying to manage someone without being told to who’s been there for years and is senior to them. I can see why Sharpay got annoyed there.
I get your point, but Kelsi probably didn’t mean to come across as arrogant, she was offering a simple suggestion, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that Sharpay has to take Kelsi’s advice, though.
It's the fact that Kelsey wanted the siblings to sing a love song slowly, the part that I don't get, like obviously Sharpay didn't want to sing the slow romantic version of the song with her brother, now with Troy, thaat's another thing for sure
'I WANT MY MAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AND MY PAPPPPPPPPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AND MY SISTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!' I yelled.
I yelled it so loud that it droned over the glastonbury festival just like a helicopter and rolf harris burst into hysterical laughter on the pyramid stage!
Strangely I’ve only ever watched the 2nd movie, I’m 27 and I’m really thinking about watching all 3 in order just so I can say I have 😂 I’ve been told the others were just as goood
