Funny when Sharpe orders his men to stop and Harper tearing out of the poor bastard with his arm locked around his neck, and Sharpe says to him 'Woh, Patrick leave him.' he gets in one last kick at him when Sharpe turns his back. Frederickson removing his set of false teeth is a nicely malevolent touch too. It was a brilliantly executed ambush. You'd have to pity the poor Frenchies, though, the Rifles were at them like the devil.
The ITV official channel for Sharpe videos don't allow comments, which is a good thing as they appear to be captioned & titled by someone who has never watched the show.
@Mattthornz "Her saying that she wanted to make love to him in front of the father who hit her for just looking at him and smiling earlier?" - No, not impossible. "Priceless". (An inside joke from the American Express commercials, where they list several items and their associated costs, then list something endearing and call it "priceless". I'm not sure if they have that series of commercials in Europe).
after the British experiences in the "colonies" against American and Indians use of tomahawk, it deserved consideration as a weapon for irregular troops(Sharpe's Rifles)
Wow...Why are there so many attractive women in the most unlikely places. A super-model-like girl living in a destitute french village? unlikely The fact that a look from an average looking soldier made her want him? Improbable Her saying that she wanted to make love to him in front of the father who hit her for just looking at him and smiling earlier? Impossible.
It's all possible and some of it even likely. Maybe you need to get out and meet more people. Girl was living in 1813... Girl was living on a farm in the middle of nowhere... It was war so most men where gone or dead... Girl had her own mind and own needs... You really need to get out more, be at the right place at the right time and women will ASK YOU for the favour.
@PUKANA69 I those are the ones that went rogue and then his troops were disbanded and he had to find those guys in england and bring em back. those are the ones he has now. with the addition of sweet william. unless it's the regiment he originally had with s william. not too sure. a lot of this stuff they say goes over my head.
how is it that every chosen man can beat a sword-wielding officer with an unloaded rifle and their hands (or in harrises case his head), and yet british officers who fight with swords always duck the musket aimed at their head?
The Chosen Men were experienced veterans handpicked from whole regiments with potentially years of combat experience, whereas commissions were literally just bought by wealthy individuals
