physically cant understand what it must feel like to be this guy like. the amount of knowledge he clearly has regarding materials/chemistry ect, and he uses it to make intriguing yet hilarious knife making videos. the power he has is amazing
The bottle opener can be useful sometimes, especially for women, cause some bottle caps are just too tight. The egg crackers are useful for at least 2 reasons. First, if you suck at cracking eggs open. With this tool you will never have to cook an omelette instead of sunny side up cuz the egg yolk got damaged. Second, it helps with taking off the shell from a boiled egg. Doing it without the first or last tool will take a long time and could get messy, ruining the look and etc., but with these tools it could take less than 10 seconds.
@@Tha_Shark237 I dont think that putting thing in your mouth that weren't intended to be put there is a great idea. Also, even with the bottle cap held in your teeth you still need your arms to be strong enough to unscrew the cap.
@@iseegreen5297 again, if you're clumsy, not careful or not experienced, you may damage the egg yolk, which will mix with the egg whites and then you'll have to cook an omelette instead of sunny side up eggs. Just bonking the shell of a hard boiled egg will crack it fairly randomly, so you will most likely have to spend at least a minute tearing the shell off and may damage the egg inside, making it look worse. Using a tool is just more convenient, especially if you cook eggs often enough. You dont just rip your bread to pieces, right? You cut it
@@fablesguykol3025 I was gonna say.. I keep seeing asmr written in all his videos, and it clicked. If you watch the way he does things really closely, he's always doing it *exactly* to make satisfying crunchy/popping/squeaking sounds. The way he jams the spoon in the sugar bowl. Or torques the bottle cap off with a tool instead of just using his fingers. Or whisks the egg whites. It's all very deliberate!
This man really flexed not only with making the sharpest egg kitchen knife in the world, but also went “let me just make crème brûlée while I’m at it nbd”
This video makes me question: how does the man have to feel, slicing a cucumber with an egg? What does it do to the man’s soul, to possess a dangerous egg?

Americans are still cracking eggs on the side of bowls, counters, and stoves and this guy pulled out like 7 different tools to cleanly crack an egg and we really are behind on technology aren’t we-
So, I've been googling around wondering just how in the hell this man turned egg whites into a knife. Anyone know exactly what's going on here? The closest I've come is a paper about an antimicrobial bioplastic made from egg whites and natural plasticizers like glycerol. I'm not sure what the shampoo is for, though. Maybe soap denatures the egg proteins so when it's heated it has better properties? I think the conditioner contains the plasticizers needed to produce the bioplastic.
interesting side note the shampoo and conditioner extracts DNA from cells. HIgh school biology uses both of those to demonstrate DNA though my class used a strawberry. the egg is a giant cell though. the dna is made up of sugars as well but the denatured proteins are what plastic is made with. Its complicated stuff but I think Nile Red covers PLA plastic chemistry from milk protein. You may find the process is actually quite similar with several different proteins.
@@KevinsArmory What the hell are you talking about? Soap is used to extract DNA from cells because it breaks apart the cell membrane, allowing access to the nucleus. Unfertilized chicken eggs don't contain that much DNA. Plus, he's only using the egg white, the yolk is where the DNA would be. Plus, I haven't heard of any usable plastics being made from DNA... so wut? With milk specifically, a few types of plastics can be made from them, but he's using egg white, not milk, so again, wtf? PLA stands for polylactic acid, in NileRed's videos he makes cellulose acetate, bakelite, nylon, and polyurethane, he hasn't made a video about PLA yet. So again, what the fuck are you talking about?
@@Crowbars2 you misunderstood what I said , so forgive me for having to elaborate. Im not teaching you patentable chemistry equations through a youtube comment. All you need to know is the DNA is a separate topic altogether. Im not saying its part of the plastic making process, just that similar reactions are occurring. Nilered def has videos about PLA from milk, just not on his channel. he has done collabs with other youtubers. Anyway its a giant pain to untangle all your presumptions so Ill keep this short. All you need to know is processing egg in various ways then heating eggs by itself is enough. This causes the albumin protein found in egg whites to form polymers under the heat and pressure, which forms a protein-based biopolymer without any additional plasticiser. You can figure the rest out yourself for giving me that sass. I posted a source but youtube deleted it already. IDK this probably isnt the best place for free organic chemistry homework tutoring, try google scholar where i found plenty sources for turning eggs into plastic.
@@Crowbars2 in regards to making PLA , im sure you are familiar with amylase and cornstarch method? Im not sure how you can be so incredulous given how much you know so far. I found the video where I thought Nilered made a cameo but I may have confused it for a different collab. Anyway this video linkby HTME covers PLA method Im referring to and tried to link here earlier AS LONG AS YOU UNDERSTAND IM NOT TALKING ABOUT MAKING THE EXACT SAME MATERIAL AS KIWAMI'S EGG KNIFE BECAUSE I HAVE NO WAY TO DISCERN ALL THE TOILETRY INGREDIENTS, JUST MERELY TRYING TO BRAINSTORM. I hope its helpful in giving you the pattern recognition Im referring to so you dont need a damn paper to tell you what a plastic is or could be. /kjvQMMQWNGE
I feel like one april fool's day he will troll us all by just making a knife cake and only letting us find out in the last 10 seconds of the video that it's literally just a knife shaped cake

Addendum 1: after letting the scp out for beach walks, he had made 2 knifes using beach like materials, including: shells and even salt water. The scp is not to be let out without a clear reason.
you might be the first human person i have ever been truly jealous of your good at almost everything...good job and great work... i hope all is well for you and you continue making awesome stuff
I'm actually kinda surprised he didn't start a whole biosystem to start evolution from scratch until it eventually brings him a chicken so he could farm eggs, but that's okay too
Dude made a knife out of the carbon from smoke. There is no going against him. Also.. he turned a "magic wand" into a rotary sander. Don't mess with him
