Sorry for the comment hijack. He said on Twitter on January 24 2021 that if there's no videos uploaded for a year please assume that he's dead. This is his last uploaded video and it was on September 4 2022. In addition to that, I have found a comment he made on June 17 2019 on Twitter "去年は人生の1/4は使ったと思います" which means I think that I used 1/4 of my life last year. Which if taken out of context, can be seen as a joke. But with 2022 truly being the last year he has uploaded anything and 2021 where he warned his viewers that to anticipate his death if he doesn't upload anything for a year. Then the comment "去年は人生の1/4は使ったと思います" can be interpreted as he knew that he only had 3 years left to live... (If we interpret "last year" = one year = as 1/4 of his lifespan remaining), which matches the warning he gave in 2021.
@@OxygenGenesis Or he took a break, or stopped youtube altogether. Pretty sure if a youtuber with millions of subs bit the dust suddenly or took their own life you'd hear about it.
These videos transcend chemistry and knife making. By the end of many of these, you realize this is art. It's exotic, and on some levels, chaotic. However, the result is always beautiful. Thank you for your videos, Kiwami Japan.
All the useless steps can be entertaining but shows lack of intelligence and common sense. Sorry the thing preserving the meat is being completely dehydrated.
@@suprememasteroftheuniverse It shows a lot of intelligence and entertainment. The wisdom of it may be questioned, but it attributed to the success of the video, so there's definitely credibility to it.
@@ティッシュ actually looking at this sakki persons videos i do see where they are coming from. although i am not convinced it is the same person the evidence is there. the walls are the same, the countertops are the same, the hands in the video are similar, the tools they use are very similar, and the presentation is also very similar. it is entirely possible this could indeed be the funny knife man we have all been missing in our lives
These videos are like a complete story arc. You get introduced to the main character, then stuff happens and you're a bit confused as to what it means, and finally it all comes together and the title makes sense. Masterful
yes! he tells the same story each time under a different oulipo constraint: each time a cow gives water, a woman vibrates, a knife is born, and it vanquishes the cucumber, but the material and its hardness are forged and tested differently.
I've watched enough of Kiwami's video that even the spinning-doll-head centrifuge and the cucumber-out-of-nowhere seem pretty normal, but I could never, never have guessed the end was to shave and eat your freshly made knife
The doll-head centrifuge is more than "normal". When he took the blades out of ripcord-powered chopper and used that at first, it left me confused why he wasn't using the doll.
Watching your 1st Kiwami Japan video = "What the hell is going on, I thought this was about knives?" Your 3rd video = "They sure own a lot of whetstones." Your 5th video = "They would be dangerous in prison." Your 8th video = "This feels like a Saw movie, but instead of killing anyone, they just want to flaunt their knife making skills." Your 10th video = *Tries to continually guess what is going to happen next.* Your 12th video = "Where's the cucumber going to be this time?" Your 15th video = "I hope the stove drops the beat in this video."
@@samuraiyue they can refer to one person when you are not aware of their gender Ex: someone says “I have no idea what present to give to my friend.” and the other person asks “What kind of things do they like?”
at this point I assume he's discovered the alchemical secrets to turn lead into gold and doesn't have to work and just thinks up continually weirder new ways to make knives once in a while.
I’ve seen some crazy things on this channel. Making a knife out of bread, turning a love story with candy into a knife, some crazy mechanisms. But i think I almost keeled over when I saw such a beautiful piece of tuna get boiled….
