Crazy prices for quality food 👍, I've not had fish and chips in ages back in the UK but it looks like fish and chips is back on the menu when I arrive in Pattaya in a couple weeks, happy days😁
I detest Mushy Peas aswell, guess we all don't acquire the same taste buds :-) and think they do give you the option for Mushy Peas should you prefer 😊
I had fish & chips in Sharples in Jomtien beach and it was good and well presented, but the only downside was the food being served on cold plates it would not take much to heat the plates up
Hi Webby that looks amazing but nothing like the sharples fish n chips I had in soi new plaza. That’s was poor, the fish was half the size, I presume it ate all the chips as well.
Just looked on the website, cant see the prices ur talking about, its more like £8.00 pounds,,thats takeaway prices in wales,,so its more of a treat yourself type of place for homesick falangs wanting uk style food,,looks good,

Food looked great , and not only real butter but I noticed Heinz ketchup, Sarsons vinegar and HP sauce , and to top it off gold cutlery ( so good you told us twice 😅) I hope as a true Maesteg boy the knife and fork ended up back in your condo 😊
Thing is, no matter where you go in the world they can never replicate the real thing from a proper English chippy. And excuse me, but WTF are garden peas doing on that plate? Mushy Peas, Curry Sauce or Gravy are the only garnishes used on F&C. I'm thinking of unsubscribing !!!!!
It had being open for 3 weeks i went in i was the 7th punter, small over priced very average food. Best place to eat at the lake. Kobb & co. Outstanding food and alot cheaper. Did you get a free meal taff.

Never tried Sharples but always hear good things, only comment you started off with fish & chips which could be any fish, then said cod finally saying haddock .....??? Whichever it was you had it look great and the chips look proper not the usual fries you get, Keep up the good work with your honest opinions
£7 come on man forget about the gold knife and forks this looks like one of those posh places are those chips frozen or hand made ? I love it when someone is honest if it’s not mushy pease it ain’t fish and chips curry sauce definitely welch boy £15 London is )13 now but the place in chaing Mia is a English owner I had a pint in a pub the other day £7 I was paying for the furnishing whetherspoons £3 😂 😂
If you want to do a true comparison, when you've done Soi New Plaza and Jomtien, take another trip out to Mabprachan Lake and try out the fish and chips from Doctor's Bar, you'll be amazed at what's on your plate for 199 Baht, which happens to be an everyday price, not just a Friday special.

Well my brother got a fish and chip shop and I can tell you sharples were way better, you have to understand I can only tell you what it takes like, and it was amazing

Don’t get me wrong - sharpies are the best u can get in Thailand apart from that one place in Chiangmai Mai but they’re both still far from matching uk quality - it’s simply down to logistics , the water and the sweet potato Obvious really
