Your comment made me google around a bit. Apparently he only came 9th in the finals, but according to the Birmingham Mail website, he attended a London Music college. It seems he was mentored by Susan Boyle, and used the money he earned with her help to finance his training. And besides, he said that all he wanted was for people to enjoy themselves. Maybe he'll break out one day.
