Shaving a full beard with The Single Edge safety razor

They say it can't be done. So I'm here to prove 'em wrong. I'm attempting to shave off an entire 4 weeks of beard growth in five minutes or less.
The result: a killer shave with zero tugging, zero clogging, and zero irritation. Whether I make it in five minutes is another thing.

I shave with a Merkur 34c, Personna blades, and Stirling shave soaps. This is one of the things I like about the single blade lifestyle, they're so much easier to clean between long-growth passes. I'm intrigued and may order one of your guys' razors when I can spare $75. I may recommend y'all to friends who are looking to ditch the cartridges and are overwhelmed with the choices available.

Love to hear that Bob (or not Bob?)! Sounds like you have a really good setup. When you're comparing our price to the other guys, keep in mind we're more like the Merkur Futur than the 34C in that we have multiple shave settings - and it comes with a pack of blades. Either way thanks so much for your support 👊

I have both. The Merkur 34C is better for me. Using a Feather blade makes a difference you can't even compare to Supply's or Shick's blades. Having said that, it's just my experience. You might like the Supply's and it's a beautiful tool regardless of the way it shaves.

Thickness of the beard is more of a determining factor than length IMHO. Let's see a 4-week very thick beard? (I have a very thick beard)

I think one would be even faster for that much growth by using a hair trimmer 0.8mm first... Takes 15 Seconds and takes off like 80-90% of the hair mass...That way the actual shave takes 2 Minutes and you saved over half the time!

I completely agree with that. That's how I would typically recommend tackling a beard this long, actually. I just wanted to show it could be done.

Best damn shave ever! I never looked back, yes I can get a good shave but I am very picky, I want great shave! I keep mine at aggressive so my fiance won't touch it. I know sneaky, tight? She doesn't want to change it back

Is this razor better to use on the body as well as compared to other razors? (Chest, arms, legs, etc.) Also, how is it on sensitive parts like under the arm or the lower region of the body?

I was NOT impressed at all with this video. Any DE razor will shave that length of beard quicker, smoother and it can be cheaper. Just for the record I have shaved 4m 2"+ beard w a DE open comb with ease-- but admit I got ingrown hairs after it....now I recommend to trim it down first, wash your face well with for a few days and then shave..... use which ever razor you prefer.....at a trimmed length they are all similar.
