I use Cosmic Shimmers Pixie Powders sprinkled directly onto the shaving foam and swirl it around they really make the end result sparkle, and if you use a scented shaving foam the recipient of the card gets a nice scent when the card is opened.
Fab technique using shaving foam and the powders, who would have thought you would get results like that. Much better using stencils as patterns are more defined x
Soooo pretty! I like that last one especially because the design itself gets the color instead of the background. Thank you for daring to try new things! 💕
Just love these pieces of art, takes me back to spending my working life in early years. We tried so many ways to make prints and we were not sure whether the prints came out better or the children. The look on parents faces when they saw their children on pick up with multi coloured faces and hands. 😂
Great my thought would be put the stencils on top of shaving cream then pat the paper into the stencil so many ideals so little time and yeah let's sprinkle some powder directly onto the shaving cream. So much fun.
Beautiful backgrounds! It makes me smile hearing your excitement after each reveal 😊. You just “whipped those out “ so quickly! I’m looking forward to seeing them in your complete cards. Such a good time watching you, Christine. I’m always more joyful by the end of each one….that’s the best gift anyone can give in my opinion… Blessings, Nancy Rolfe
Ones has a die of a peacock, so presumably one could make a stencil of a peacock ! 😁 I somehow managed too but two pots of the peacock colour... I must really like it!🤣🤣🤣
I was so intrigued as to how you used luscious powders with shaving foam, now I know and I think it’s a fabulous idea, many years ago the patterns were lots of swirl which didn’t appeal to me. I really do like your method of using it, so thank you for another wonderful idea. Take care.
What an awesome idea, shaving cream and lucious powders!!! Fantastic results, I am looking forward to seeing the cards you made with them. Thanks for being an awesome inspiration!
This is just AWESOME!!!!!! Such beautiful colors. I have several Pearl EX powders and am going to give this a try. Thank you so much for the inspiration.
Merci pour la vidéo ! La technique à la mousse à raser me semble plus facile que celle à la pâte de structure. Je n ai pas ces jolis pigments mais d autres qu il faut fixer à la laque. J essaierais qd même au cas où ça fonctionne . Merci mille fois
I so love these colors, your backgrounds came out so beautiful-of course you are using beautiful stencils as well! I thought the same thing when I saw that drop of gold come out of your dropper, where did that come from?!! It was so random but so pretty! Now I must try and remember to get me some shaving cream the next time I'm at the grocery store. LOL Hugs, Brenda
Just to show you I did look back on some of your older videos when you were away……….. !!! I tried the shaving foam with luscious powders and stencils but the resulting colours were quite “grainy”. Any suggestions? Apart from this slight problem, love the technique!
I haven’t done it for a while, I’d probably have to revisit, but I remember that it worked better if the luscious powders were mixed with water before adding to the foam!
@@Chrissieannie Thanks Chrissie. I did use Luscious powders but hearing you say you wouldn’t perhaps use so much water I have a feeling maybe I didn’t use enough which could have resulted in the luscious not “dissolving” sufficiently. Will definitely have another go - really liked the technique.
Hi Chris. I just thought I would let you know that I ordered the same CrafTreat leaf stencils that you used in one of your videos, but I can’t find the video in question. Anyway you mentioned that one of the leaf cut outs (the middle one on the top row) was missing, and mine is exactly the same, so I’m just wondering if that is how it comes, as you said you might get in touch with the seller to query it. Sorry for this garbled message xx
can you put the shaving foam on a mat and then dip the paper and the stencil into it?? then you don't have to spread it??? think it would work???? I have never used shaving foam before
