I had mine done by my hairdresser this past Monday, the day before my next infusion. I was surprised how gaunt it made me look (still 25 lbs overweight though--steroids and chemo belly and such...also comfort food, because I need *something* besides Zofran). This was a big brave step for you. We don't want to "commit" or "submit" to chemo on some deep psychological level, but shaving our heads/losing our hair does just that. I'm crying as I watch you do this. We say it's only hair and it will grow back, but it really is so much more. I felt like I had just hung a sign around my neck. And now I'm laughing, you know, because they warn you..."Be careful with crying or kissing. Don't let anyone share your bathroom. Because YOU'RE TOXIC and could harm others." I tell you, I nearly yanked the lines out yesterday. I truly, truly feel for you and you are SO helping me endure this unlike any other vlogger I've watched. Please stay solid for your fans/family/yourself.❤

I'm glad I can be here for you it definitely does suck but we can get through this we may come back with wounds and battle scars but more importantly we come back with stories and the ability to make more memories ❤️
@sharondavidson7412 You know, I had to *read* about it--never letting anyone else clean your bathroom or handle your garbage, being careful kissing with saliva and crying on anyone, keeping children and animals away from your "waste". Made me think if someone switched off the lights I would glow in the dark. No health worker told me until I *asked*. Chemo is mainly self-learned, in my opinion. If you ask why they don't tell you everything, they say, "Everyone is different. We answer all your questions." But how do you know what questions to ask if you're so ill and overwhelmed?😢 That's one of the reasons I watch Mike. I'm doing the same chemo drugs. And he's so real and transparent. I hope you're much better now? Or at least as good as you can be?🙏
I remember the day my husband shaved my head. 😢 You look fantastic with your head shaved, but I totally understand it's the reason for you having to shave it. As you said, it's just hair, and it will grow back. If we didn't have difficult times, we wouldn't appreciate the good times near as much. Lots of prayers for you, and big hugs coming your way. ❤❤❤

Now you can get your scalp in good shape with warm oil massages and let it breathe. You are so right - there are amazing wigs out there now. I do have to add that your head smack sounded like you were slapping a piece of wet deli ham on your head😂. Being a musician, I am sure you can use the sound effect somewhere in your music. @@thatguymike91😂😂. My only positive thing having to stop chemo for over 7 weeks was my hair starting to grow back, along with my eyebrows and some eye lashes. Can’t stop rubbing my head right now as it feels so wonderful. I know this makes me sound so very shallow, but losing my hair has been one of the worst things going through all this. Anytime I look at myself in the mirror I don’t even recognize myself. At least you still have eyebrows, I do too, for the time being but now that treatment has started back up I know they’ll be gone soon enough and I will be back to looking like an f’n alien again. Thankful I’m pretty good at drawing them on. And while we’re on this bald and beautiful topic 😂😂, what the hell is that gobbie shit that comes out of your tear ducts while they disappear into thin air? I have at least 10 beautiful wigs, but want to guess how many times I’ve gone out wearing one? Twice. Although they look great, I have long, shorter, blonde, brunette and even pink and they all look amazing and make me look younger, they are so damn hot and itchy they drive me batshit crazy. While here at the house I usually wear a skull cap and going to work or out anywhere it’s scarves.

I wanted to say I watched this guy youtuber was called applefords has changed it to apples .he's on his grief journey after losing his wife to stage 4 nonsmoking lung cancer 8 months ago . Probably shouldn't of said this but I comment on his channel to help him get threw his pain he has 2 young kids . Breaks my heart she was only in her early 30's

You look great. When I went bald from chemo, it was strangely liberating. Like many women, I was fussy about my hair. Spent a lot of time, money and emotional currency on it. With it gone, I realized that I was still me, and my family and friends still loved me. Eventually, my hair grew back. I don't fuss with it anymore and like it just the way it is. 4 years and still no evidence of disease. Pray god it continues.

I shave my head 2..tho hubby won't allow it as close as yours..but I love not having hair..for me it's not efficient and used to give me bad headaches..all I did wit mine was pony tail so it wasn't like I did anything cool with it lol.and it feels so good when it's hot out..hats when it's cold lol.
I also just remembered that in one of my favorite bands the lead singer is bald and looks cool. Daughtry. (I’m so old school with music!) It’s a pretty cool look for many guys and probably even some girls too. Sinead o Conner always rocked it also.

Hi Mike. My son shaved my head when it started falling out from chemo a couple years ago. But, it came back fuller and I had curls. It didn't take long. Anyway, you look good! I looked like a cone head. 😊 Stay sweet and positive. ❤

Hi Mike it is your friend Deb from Aussie Land again. You look really hot bald. This reminded me, of the time I shaved my hubby's hair. He had about, 6 inches of hair at the time and I said, it was time to shave it. Which he does to this day, years later. The thing was Mike, I got half way through and said I didn't think I can do anymore. Gosh Mike, he was like, "Well I can't go around with a half shaved head".
