The most important principle when transitioning to shaving with a OneBlade razor: keep the spring flexed in the pivoting head at all times, and you'll be guaranteed to have the correct blade angle to the skin. The razor does the work for you.
There is an exaggerated demonstration of this around the 0:52 mark. Despite the angle change when shaving from the upper neck over the jaw line and up to the cheek, the razor head keeps the blade in the correct position because the pivot is doing the work.
Why start with the sensitive part first? The blade will never be sharper than immediately after opening. The sharper the blade the less pull on your roots and skin, which is the most consequential on the sensitive parts like under the nose and the corners of the mouth.
