Thank you. Indeed. G-d works in such mysterious ways and we are happy the hostages not only are happy to be home - but that their gratitude to Hashem for His salvation will create in them a feeling to repent and observe the commandments.

😄🌻❤Shalom, dear Sarah!!! How are you? I hope you are well and happy and above all, in good health. As for what you say about the situation of some people, in relation to so many problems, I think the following, dear: We live in front of a gigantic puzzle, where we are the pieces, and I don't know if you've ever tried to put one together, beautiful, But if so, you know that sometimes we fit a piece and it seems like it's the right one but suddenly we have to remove it and put another one in because it didn't fit correctly. And so, my love, it is us, we are the pieces of this great puzzle, many times we don't understand anything, and we want to find an answer and only the One who is putting it together has this answer, and what for us is an unknown, for He is all as clear as the Light of the Sun. And only when we go through certain difficult situations in which we look from one side to the other and don't find a way out and suddenly when we think we are going to succumb, a small light appears at the end of the tunnel, and then we cling to it with all the strength of our Soul. . I'm sorry my friend for telling you all this, these are such deep subjects, experiences that only those who go through it can understand. But I can only tell you and your subscribers one thing: I know that many like to read your comments and that is good. There are many mysteries among us in our daily lives, hidden ones that we need to be very aware of to really understand. I watch where I go, because I live in a very large metropolis, I see people on the streets in the subway and everywhere, very unnoticed, glued to a little device, we need to get closer to reality, to what really matters. Well, you know what I mean, things are happening every moment, and many are so distracted. I've seen things... that... but we need to be very awake, we're not alone here, we're not alone. Thank you very much for your attention and sorry once again for my comments.😘

Thank you for the elaborate response. I appreciate it. Everything you wrote is true and we pray for the day where the devices will have little value and that people will once again connect.

Thank you rabanit - I'm in the kind of a bamidbar situation and the Parashat Shavua is Bamidbar! Hashem has given you the gift of lifting people up with your shiurim and that is the 1 million dollar check to us 🙂 But one thing I am puzzled with is the sotah in Parashat Naso. Could you explain to me why there was given so much power to a jealous husband that his wife seemed not to have power over her life? And why women were not allowed to be jealous over their husbands and report them to kohanim if they suspected an act of adultery?
@TorahForWomen
@TorahForWomen Месяц назад
I am sorry to hear... and pray you will soon find yourself at an oasis. The subject of Sotah is not about a jealous husband suspecting his wife of adultery. It's about witnesses who see a man's wife confining herself with another man alone and they suspect she has been unfaithful. It takes a lot for a woman to be deemed a Sotah and even when she appears before the Bet Din, she is given many chances to redeem herself. As for the man, in ancient times a man was permitted to have more than one wife. If he wished to take a concubine (during war time if he was a soldier) or if there was a need for another woman, it was permitted. After Chavah offered the forbidden fruit to her husband in Gan Eden, she brought not only death to the world, but a very strong desire in a man and unnecessary urges that had to be controlled and maintained. So, the woman is really the reason why men have such a difficult time controlling their physical urges and why they need an additional outlet. Today, it is different because as the generations progressed, and the rabbis saw that having more than wife created so many issues - there was a mandate issued that a man can only marry one woman. While adultery is looked down upon if a man commits the crime, it is far worse if a woman is unfaithful. There are however many Jewish courts that DO allow a woman to leave her husband if he is unfaithful and does not wish to get help or repent from his ways.
