nah the undie was black so they kept that part straight, otherwise that would be inconsistent if she made the deal with a black undercover cop but the guy that shot him wasn’t, i’ll agree they didn’t have to state the race tho, that seemed unnecessary cause that clip was for the news smh
The fact that the "hitman" was trying to make double-triple-quadruple sure she really wanted to go through with it would've 100% been a red flag to me, ain't no way a hitman is that concerned about buyer's remorse
shawn's impatience with the judge at the end is absolutely comical, he really didn't take long to sum up the relevant facts but because shawn already knew them he was instantly annoyed
Yeah, I'm pretty sure most judges give a pretty lengthy speech at the end of a trial because up until that point, they are only there to run the courtroom. Keep everyone in line and rule on procedural things, etc. At the end is where they can voice their thoughts and opinions on everything and explain why they chose the sentence that they give.
1. The Judge didn't say incarceration or retribution was a form of rehabilitation he said those 3 concepts are all aspects that went into deciding the length and manor of the sentence. 2. The Judge is talking for as long as he did because he has to be pretty specific for the rationale of his sentence to avoid any air of impropreity in the case of an appeal which Dalia already mentioned she was pursuing
My favourite thing is the video starts with that then like half an hour later she calls herself a cute little girl later and he pauses and says "nobody called you that. You just said that about yourself"
Its crazy af that the police have the budget to do a candid canera prank video. They had her in 4k setting up a hit on her husband. They could've just arrested her they didnt have to do all that.
they did have to do that. they need concrete evidence that she wants her husband killed so they can charge her and send to prison. common for hired hit cases
@@kxngmuzikig2417 No they didn’t. I'm from the area and watched as everything happened, the police were heavily criticized and almost blew an open and shut case. They set up an entire fake crime scene for an episode of Cops, brought the "hitman" into the interrogation room instead of just doing a line up, had her husband walk past when the door was open so they could argue, etc. Everything done in this case, from the police's side, was done for drama and publicity; it was, at best, extremely unethical if not outright corruption. She had a very good appeal that she was being used by the PD and it held very well in court, the jury even asked the judge if there was another charge besides solicitation of murder that they could deliberate on as they thought she did something but weren't sure. An alternate juror even said made a comment to the media that they though she was set up for an episode of Cops. It ultimately ended in a mistrial as the jury was stuck at a 3-3 vote and a 3rd trial was required. The police are lucky that there were 3 people who believed she was guilty or if they were outnumbered they were more likely to capitulate and find her innocent.
@@TheIcemanthomas the interrogation is part of the video evidence tho. You might need some classes in understanding how collecting evidence works. They wanted to have video evidence of how she was acting right after her husband just got killed for more proof that she really wanted him dead and not that it was some lame excuse like for a reality show or whatever lame excuse she could come up with . The way she acted during that whole thing helped the case and showed she was a narcissist and didn’t care really .
Well the channel is about the psychology of the criminal, im sure there’s some other piece of media out there discussing the victim side of things in this case.
@@paris-1911 Im not talking about the youtube channel im talking about Dalia talking about herself the entire time after getting caught trying to murder someone.
I wonder what the issue was. Did he have a prenup? He's a conventional attractive guy. Has a house. I doubt she had to work. What was keeping her from just living happily ever after?
It’s literally the judge’s job to be as thorough as possible with his explanation before going ahead and announcing his decision. A verdict is no time to rush/be overly succinct. I swear shawn gotta touch grass. Too much twitch.
not just saving his life, saving his own damn life, like 99.9999998% of dudes will report a girl if they requested that too, who’s throwing their life away for 3k
>Marry a prostitute >Act surprised when she turns out to be a disturbed individual and a gold-digger Stop messing with hoes and stay faithful to your wives, gentlemen. This tale is as old as time.
This case will always be funny invthe true crime community 😂 If you want the deeper deep dive with the text massages and all, True Crime RU-vidr Stephanie Harlowe did 2 part deep dive videos
Why the fuck is he acting so weird about the judge, is Shawn Cee actually racist? There's a judge sentencing a murderer to life in prison and the only thing he's interested in is dissing the judge? Am I missing something?
That’s literally his job in the sentencing. He’s making a clear legal record of the factual and legal justification behind his sentence because she’s going to appeal it.
Formal conversations and protocols trigger modern day TikTok attention spans. He was picking at anything to keep his viewers interested but doubt it was racist intent. Would’ve said same if it was a black judge
