So I wanted to add HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN to my set list and combed through more than a dozen covers until I came across Shawn Mullins version. No need to look any further. Gifted musician.

Shawn Mullins brings shivers to my heart with his voice. I would love to hear him singing with Dwight Yokum, another amazing musician. Imagine seeing them sharing a stage in an intimate, small venue club, trading songs and memories.

He reveals the blues in the song and starts with the best back story I have ever heard and never new how much I wanted to. Thanks.
