Haha, that's what I told them- R.I.P....Eddie Van Halen🎸! 😢 This whole album(1984), this song was on. Was one of their many best albums. David Lee Roth was a fellow martial artist. He knew karate🥋 like my mom & dad that taught me. My dad loved Van Halen & they're what I grew up to as a kid in the 80's... I LOVED VAN HALEN!
If you like the Michael Jackson "Beat It," video....Eddie Van Halen was *that guitarist. "Van Halen 1"was released in 1978. You have SOOO much great V.H to discover, my friends. Cheers! 🤘😝
My all time favorite band. I saw them once with Sammy and once with Dave. I'll never forget either. Eddie never, ever quit smiling when he had a guitar in his hands.

Please consider reacting to Van Halen "Ain't talking bout love". Arguably the greatest guitarist ever and one of the best front men in rock. Van Halen \m/
The group is named after the guitarist, the drummer, and later on his son! Eddie Van Halen, passed recently, but even though he's gone, he's still considered one of the greatest guitarists, of all time! God Bless!
This was the soundtrack of my childhood. Eddie Van Halen played both guitar and keys on most of the songs on 1984, the album of the same year. One of the greatest musicians of all time.
This was an amazing reaction. I’ve always loved this song. It is definitely not a sitting down allowing life to happen song. It motivates. Thank you foe sharing
This song and album was released in 1984. Quite a few years ago, when they were young and in shape. They are in their 60's now, except the guitarist Eddie, who unfortunately passed away last year October 2020 from a stroke at the age of 65.
I was 11 when this came out and I WAS BLOWN AWAY! Dave's got some moves! This song is happy and rockin' and of course, there's Eddie... God rest his rockin' soul 🎸 🙏🏼 One of the best guitarist ever! I still can't believe he's gone 😞 Great song!
If you wanna capture the energy of the 80's, this was the band. When they came out, they were upstaging massive icons like Ted Nugent, Black Sabbath, etc. There was no party until these four showed up. Lots of great music...lots of it. But to capture their stage presence, watch their music video "Panama". Thanks for your time. Y'all have a beautiful day
Try one from the 1st album. Aint talkin bout love-Van halen. The sounds from those early albums were insane....even Micheal Jacksons clan had Eddie Van Halen play guitar on ' Beat It '😁
RIP EVH!!! Great reaction guys. Gotta check out the earlier stuff like off of fair warning and women and children first. Alot of awesome music from Van Halen. Congrats on 50k
Both Eddie and Alex Van Halen were skilled at their craft. Both brothers played drums, keyboard, and guitar. Alex stuck with drums and Eddie did both guitar and keyboard/piano. Their father was a jazz musician from Amsterdam. Taught his boys how to play.
I remember I was living in San Diego CA and 16 years old when this came out. It was on the radio non stop all day everyday for a very long time. Great tune...great band. You must do Van Halen - Girl Gone Bad....Tune is so good. They have so many bangers it would be very difficult to choose a favorite.
ROCK IN PEACE MR EDWARD VAN HALEN. Saw them live at U.S. FESTIVAL for my 21st birthday. Day 2 (Sunday, May 29th 1983) was dubbed “Heavy Metal Day,” with Quiet Riot; Mötley Crüe; Ozzy Osbourne; Judas Priest; Triumph, Scorpions; and Van Halen.
I'm so glad you're reacting to Van Halen. Eddie Van Halen is a Guitar legend 🎸. Mel if you loved the guitar solo then you guys need to react to Eruption from Live without a Net concert. Best solo, its about 13 mins long.
Who doesn’t LOVE Van Halen!🔥🔥🔥🔥 Broke my heart when Eddie died! Had a truck full of stuff for my daughters wedding driving to Oklahoma for her wedding when I heard the news. Cried for 3 hours straight! Listen to the music when Sammy Hagar joins them! BEST EVER‼️
Hearing ‘80’s high energy music like this ALWAYS puts me in a good mood. THANK GOD I grew up back in the late ‘70’s & ‘80’s - the best era ever for creativity, diversity, and raw talent in music. I’ll never forget those days.
Van Halen was imitated throughout the 80's. They started the "hairband" formula in rock. Often imitated never duplicated they had the best guitarist and the best frontman.
Eddie's playing was so off the wall that people had to figure out a way to put the song into chords. They had to make up new words - it wasn't easy. Genius. Miss his sweet smile. He always smiled!
R.I.P Eddy Van Halen🙏🙏 you were such a great person ......fun fact Eddy Van Halen also did the guitar solo on Michael Jackson's Beat It song..R.I.P Michael ...
The guy singing is David Lee Roth. He has his own channel & podcast here on RU-vid, so check it out. Of course he looks nothing like what he looked like in this music video. He now looks like someone's old peculiar uncle. He is both odd & intelligent, a genius of sorts. And he still practices martial arts which he will sometimes show on his channel.
So greatful to be an 80's baby & 90's teen, born May of 1980, that I got to experience 3 classic songs named "Jump", while the 3 songs were brand new debut releases....🤙 •Van Helen's "Jump" from 1983• •Pointer Sister's "Jump" from 1983• •Kris Kross' "Jump" from 1992• House of Pain's "Jump Around", 1992, yep, gets an honorable mention of course....😎
love your videos, and all the love you send to people, i´m a proud member of the squad. much love from portugal.you guys are awsome, keep up the good work.
Fantastic! My view only, but VH the greatest Band and greatest guitarist in the world🤙👍 Thank you! They got more greats, so go get em👍 Eddie the Guitarist passed away last year at 65. R.I.P
Van Halen's such a legend, I'm sure there will be no shortage of suggestions of which of their songs to do next. My vote goes for "Right Now." This song is one of those that just really sticks with you. It's a real Carpe Diem type of song and I absolutely love it.
Rest well to Eddie Van Halen. He could play the hell out of the guitar and keyboard. He played the solo on "Beat It" by Michael Jackson. They always play this at basketball game when there's a jump ball. Also, watch "Hot For Teacher" by Van Halen.
A little fact about the singer David Lee Roth he has been practicing the Marital Arts for a long time. Kung Fu, Jeet Kun Do, and Kenjutsu. Also the pianist is also the guitar play eddie
you gotta check Eddie Van Halen Eruption Solo Live without a net, It's awesome! hope you guys can check it or react to it! it's the guitarist showing off an incredible performance!
Love Van Halen one of my favorite bands and this my favorite song by them RIP to Eddie Van Halen after a long battle with lung and skin cancer he suffered a stroke and passed but at least we know that he’s not in pain and not suffering anymore
That guitarist that played that amazing guitar solo and keyboard (Edward Van Halen) is the SAME guy that played the guitar solo on Michael Jackson's "Beat It".
This is a cut, First time I saw it, I had the same reaction. Eddie van halen, the gut who did the guitar solid was same guy who did the guitar solo for "beat it" by Michael. Check out " hot for teacher" by van halen
Hot for Teacher is one of theirs that I think y'all would love....the actual video though. And yeah...the guitar and piano...pretty amazing, huh? And to think how the guy never did learn to read music; he was totally self-taught. A true talent
Best Rock Band EVER! Eddie Van Halen is the King Of 6 Strings and 10 Fingers. You can’t go wrong with ANY Van Halen. Watch the Eruption Guitar Solo from Live Without A Net! Eddie Van Halen is the GOAT!
