I remember being at Ally Mccoist testimonial Rangers vs Newcastle at Ibroxs. Great atmosphere two massive clubs in the 90s. I am glad the Geordie boys are back. Great club yous just need your dance partners back in Sunderland and put North east football back on the map.

Tbh it’s a smart move. Newcastle is a big city and lots of investment opportunity. A club with history and a good stadium. Everything is pretty much set, and seems like the exact same scenario as Man City when it was first purchased

Similar financial circumstances to the blue club in Manchester but they don't have a Black and White Army. You'll never hear St. James's Park get references like the " Emptihad" aslong as the people of Newcastle get their football club back and it keeps its identity and the the owners help the local area and communities too, it'll be a huge success for everyone!

He will make them into a fighting machine, or in simpler terms, a team that will strike fear into opposition teams they face. Changed Chelsea's formation and the entire team, won the trophy in his first full year at the club and it would be good to see him transform Newcastle.

Hate to be the soothsayer but be careful what you wish for. money can bring better players, but some owners will try to erode the identity of the club and treat it like their own private piggy bank. saudi owners and amanda staveley as opposed to someone from the north east that gets your club? of course, anyone but mike ashley is a win, but it will come at a price. i'm sure there are sceptical newcastle fans out there.
