@@johnarat9618 but who is captain then? Casey and Severide are Lieutenants and shouldn't there be a Captain between Lieutenants and Batallion Chief? I not that familiar with American FD ranks
@Ein flinkes Wiesel Casey was a Captain. But the actor left the show in Season 10. In the show, the character left to be with the Darden boys. That means he has time be a Captain in their local FD.
02:30 You can hear alarms going off, this a standard piece of gear all firefighters have, it only ever goes off if you stop moving for a few minutes. Many of these alarms were heard during 9/11 when the buildings collapsed. Great filmwork here, very realistic.
I just watched this episode and I am completely devastated. I haven't stopped crying. I can't imagine station 51 without Shay, I feel like I can't keep watching the series anymore. It hurts much. I can't believe the writers did this, it's just terrible. The worst thing is that before I started watching Chicago Fire I knew that Shay was going to die, but I didn't think it would be so soon. Time was too short, I need more from Shay. I am just broken. update: I couldn't stand it, I'm watching the first episode of the first season again.
The writers of this show tend to treat their female characters poorly. They either just exist to be love interests (Matt’s firs Fiancée) be bad replacement characters (Chilli) or creator’s pets. For real I think the girls in Chicago PD get much, much better treatment than in fire. In Med too, but there is a lack of female characters in that show
They really did a good job recreating the 51 when Shay first arrived. Giving Cruz the faded haircut from season 1, bringing back the actors to play Darden, Hadley and Vargas.
Omw i love this scene as heartbreaking as it is it's beautiful. I think that Shay should have lived for one more season. A season where she and Kelly would 'figure it out'. She should have been there when almost the whole house turned against Kelly and when Dawson lost her baby 😥❤.
Haven’t watched since season 5 but I miss Shay and Dawson they were my favourite paramedics on this and I loved their friendship I was sad when she died
Let's take a minute in silence to remember all those brave firefighters brave firefighter women who is sacrificed their lives for everyone may they be remembered as true hero
I loved shay she was my favourite character in Chicago fire and my teacher asked me the class to write a report about anyone and I wrote about shay she’s my favourite person EVER!!!
when i saw this ep and when the radio's begin to go static i had a bad feeling something bad was going to happen but i didn't expect that to happen. Can see the Chief call out to the crew to report can tell how much he cares for them and is scared that he could of lost them. something a Chief never wants to see happen after working with them for years.
I love the fact that shay's last words to kelly and his to her's was that they loved eachother . . . . Years later her death still hits and is as painful.
SHAY. NO. LIVE ON. CMON! **Preforming CPR that I learnt on Chicago Med** **checks pulse bcs I also learnt that on Chicago Med** I CANT FIND A PULSEEEEEE
Learning CPR off a video is difficult, when performing in the field you first reach the victim, check the surrounding area for any danger, clear it and shout for help if you're a civilian and not a dedicated medic with enough kit and training to treat. Then sit by their side and tilt their head back and open their mouth, then lean forwards so your ear is above their mouth and nose and look down their chest, look for the chest to rise and fall and listen for breathing sounds. If none, check the mouth for any blockages, if there are none check the pulse. If you can hear one or not regardless. Place your strong hand on top of your weak hand and interlock the fingers. Place it on their chest and push down about 4-6cm, don't be afraid to push too hard and repeat for 30. Then, dependent on whether you're comfortable with it, tilt their head back again and place your mouth over theirs and breathe for 2, repeat until ROSC or paramedics arrive.
Excelente trabajo.

Guys Look, this flashback is easteregg. There's shay, joe, otis, darden and gabby sure? So now. Darden die in 1 season Shay die in 3 season Gabby left in 7 season Otis die in 8 season So joe is the last. Do you think they did this special? If joe will die in 9 10 or 11 season it will be the worst thing they did
