I am a medical student. It amazed me when Allah said that I am closer to you than your jugular vein because dilated jugular vein is the first sign of most heart diseases. This was not known then. For me this is a sign that Quran is from Allah.
This is called confirmation bias and post-hoc rationalizing. You're simply reinterpreting the verse by finding a way to correlate it to something you're familiar with. People do this all the time when talking to a fortune teller. The fortune teller will say something vague, and the client will subconsciously "match" it to something in their life. Critical thinking is very difficult.
@@iiddrrii6051 even if you are correct on this bias, there are sufficient other proofs that the Quran is without a doubt and unquestionably the word of God, I invite you to explore it!
Excellent analysis Allhumdulilah. I am a pilot & always thought when Allah mentions in Quran about the ships that sail through His mercy etc. Just like ships float on water, the airplanes have buoyancy in the air as air is also a fluid. Therefore, the airships/airplanes whatever we may call the equipment, its still floating on a fluid just the fluid is of a different state. Moreover, the inclined path discussion is beautiful as we follow great circle route i.e heading changes in a curved path over the surface of the earth being the shortest distance between 2 points. SubhanAllah Allah explains everything. The inclination is opposite in the Southern Hemisphere- parallel opposite to the northern hemisphere. Any direction you set forth, you gotta incline in heading. Allah is great
This is just post-hoc rationalizing. I'm sorry, heavier than air - aircraft are not "buoyant". They don't "float" through the air. The wings accelerate air downward and create lift. In fact, lighter than air aircraft have their own classification. They include balloons and blimps which are filled with heated gas or helium.
I take the explanation of Ibn Abbās Over this man any day. This will open the door to people interpreting the Quran as they wish. The Companions have already explained the Quran and Allah is pleased with them. Stick to the sayings of those who were explained to by the Prophet peace be upon him. This is opening up the door to fitnah
Some of His servants are blessed to grasp the true Divine Message and ability to interpret. This Shaikh is so blessed with both knowledge and humility and that’s very rare. May Allah Swt bless the Shaikh and be a source of benefits to His servants. Ameen.
The Shaykh's understanding of verse 16:8 is actually similar to Muhammad Asad's rendering of this ayah. It is interesting how the Shaykh's understanding of this ayah fits perfectly with the following ayat. Here is Asad's translation of 16:8: The use, in this context, of the aorist yakhluqu implies the future tense ("He will create") in contrast with the past tense khalaqa employed, in the preceding passages. Since this reference to God's continuing creation comes immediately after, a mention of primitive means of transport (i.e., of animals domesticated by man to this end), it-obviously relates to other - as yet unknown - things of the same category: that is to say, to new means of transport which God unceasingly creates through the instrumentality of the inventiveness with which He has endowed man's mind (cf. 36:42). Inasmuch as every successive stage of human development bears witness to new, previously undreamt-of inventions in the realm of transport, the Qur'anic statement that "He will yet create things of which [today] you have no knowledge" is valid for every period - past, present and future of man's history
@@zmuzamil1025 Muhammad Asad, (Arabic: محمد أسد, Urdu: محمد اسد, born Leopold Weiss; 2 July 1900 - 20 February 1992 was an Austro-Hungarian-born Jew and convert to Islam who worked as a journalist, traveler, writer, linguist, political theorist, diplomat. (en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammad_Asad) One of the finest intellectuals of Islam in modern times.
This was a profound explanation of the chapter. It takes an educated and well informed scholar to discover such explanations from the Quran. Quran is truly Huq and from the Creator of all.
This is what we need. When we believe that the Quran is for all ages to come then definitely there are interpretations that are relevant to this time. I pray other Muslim scholars also spend their time contemplating like this instead of repeating the same old things, repeat them but with new interpretations. That's one of the miracles of the Quran.
Refer to tafsir ibn kathir for its interpretation its a credible tafsir based on the understanding of the companions and theyre followers and dont take this newly made up interpretation

@@yaseenrasputin8826 Quran already stated that earth is like ostrich egg shaped and if allah should also mention earth is flat because quran is revealed 1400 years ago... So for them to understand and be grateful it should be stated flat. If there is no flateness in earth then we couldnt build buildings, vehicles cant have proper balance and less friction will make difficult for even walking
@@mohammedmunavar2977 I’m sorry I don’t understand what you’re saying. And no the Quran didn’t mention that earth is shaped like ostrich eggs. There is something about how Allah made the earth shaped like the surface where an ostrich lays its eggs if that’s what you mean : "و الأرض بعد ذلك دحاها" That word means the same thing that the ostrich does to earth when it wants to lay its eggs.

He mentions many of the "blessings", but the fact is, many of these were relatively recent inventions and discoveries. Early man had no access to reliable food sources, clothes, medicine, safety, just to name a few. These "blessings" are a modern phenomenon through the WORK and ingenuity of scientists and clever people. God either doesn't care about our well-being or doesn't exist.

Hey kid, be respectful. Being argumentative when talking about the religion and throwing unfounded accusations is not an islamic behaviour. "Many times refuted" is not a measurement unit of a scholars' knowledge and status. When imam Abu Hanifa and imam Malik were discussing in imam Malik's chambers, I expect they both refuted each other many times. And better than this, it happened face to face, not remotely in a RU-vid video. Doesn't take anything away from any of them.
