The last few seconds when the Shaykh interrupts Shaykh Hamzah's praise of him and seeks forgiveness from Allah and denies that he is worthy of all that praise is just priceless! Truly a sign that none of that praise is hyperbolic.

He no doubt is one of the rare Ulama in several fields in Fiqh and Maqasid el Shari'a.. I just don't like his political views regarding many issues such as the Palestinian vs Zionists one, and Saudi Arabia's rulers and their bunch of hypocrites called Majliss El Fatwa.
we as maghrebins and maleki we learn these things...but in the east you have always arrogance to learn from the maghreb ulemas...though islam in the maghreb is more deep than the east
Does anyone of the Fuqaha here know about any connection between Shaikh bin Bayyah and the organisation of Hamas, Gaza? I heard rumours recently and would like to know if there can be found any evidence for such a claim. Thank you in advance
And God is with the patient ones. You read my question? All of yours are answered there already. I am trying to verify some information or the opposite actually. Personally, I cannot find any bad in this remarkable Alim and Shaikh, however, those claims were made from non-Muslims already so I wand to know.
