The final week of the SPL is finally here as The Thunderclap Titans are taking on their ultimate foil and one we are yet to beat, Joseph Fontaine Miguel Andrade Maguire Anthony, also known as PokeaimMD. After coming up short in finals last season, can we finally achieve inner peace by besting him in this encounter? Damm you had this game in the bag with azu, you said in the team preview that you had enough speed for arboliva you could’ve play roughed again cause after the prior chip damage and even after the terrain recovery play rough would’ve killed. I was screaming at my screen cause you even switched out first to when he doubled lol good season my G 💪🏾

I very much blanked out on my impulsive and tunnel vision there. But it's a lesson that I'm glad to learn now, than playoffs, when I won't be getting that second chance again. And you best believe I'll do my best to become even better than I was yesterday! Also, yeah staying in and roughing was probably the play there LOL. Pokemon is hard to make tails of sometimes when you don't have Showdown telling you the exact percentage of the damage dealt. Oh well, we learn, we get better and we thrive! Appreciate the support as always brother. Nothing but love

thats the second time youve thrown vs joey, youve got to learn when to pull the trigger when you basically have a checkmate. you played this game pretty well, clicking belly drum wasn’t necessary at all. ive seen this in your previous games as well where you basically have the win in your hands and you find a way to make it closer than it is. maybe this is your real story hopefully you finish it.

You should’ve just Terra and let him knock you out! Shaymin and Azumaril was all you needed, that grass terrain boosts the power of seed flare, there was nowhere for Joey to run. But again GG

I disagree because his Arboliva was Tera Fire. I doubt I'd have overwhlemed it then in that sequence. But in hindsight, I guess something could have been done. Hard to say. It is what it is though. Should have actually swapped to Shaymin though because it was a free midground play. No worries though. We'll get better

He is one of the two people running this league. Also, he and Emvee are a big part of why many people are watching this season with great interest in the first place. Without him, there's no returning Shadypenguinn or whoever we will have back in the future. He's a great battler that's an even better content creator and human being. Him not being around to compete is counterproductive to draft league's viewership success and also personally insulting to me. I know I can beat him. I was very close this time. It didn't happen because of my mistake. This was a great learning experience. I'll get better and one day finally be able to nip this in the bud. Thanks for watching.

@@TheUziGunner I understand all that, I'm just frustrated that he's just so good. Don't forget that he tanked the first pick on a Skawkabilly and the last on a Dewgong and he still just dominates... And you're right, I'm only here because of him and Emvee and I have since discovered so many great content creators like you. Guess I was just really hoping you could beat him. @@joaosousa988 I understand that as well. That said, it's also important to note how the rest of the composition ends up being built towards. Whilst the R1 Squak and Dewgong hindered it from being fully effective, the rest of his squad are still top class Pokemon that can get the job done and help position him to win it all. I did the same thing with drafting Pikachu Round 1 in one of the past seasons in USUM. I would instead go on to win the whole championship because just like Joey, whilst drafting Pikachu R1 is a handicap, the rest of my squad were killers. Just like his. That said, I appreciate the kind words and support. This is just a bump in the road. The day will come when I will best him, for that is a promise.
