Why wasn't Black Adam in the first Shazam film? Is it because The Rock wanted his own solo movie first or he never wanted a crossover to happen?

@@TheNiggaReview actually black Adam and the rock for fucked over for several years before making the movie. While the first Shazam movie got pushed ahead of his project because of the happy go lucky family comedy genre. Rock always viewed black Adam as a serious project and character. No one takes Captain marvel serious. In the end we lose the most because we are stuck with Shazam being aloof while never seeing the extent of what the gods powers would look like in a real sci Fi battle. Black Adam vs Superman would have accomplished this. Shazam vs Deadpool would be the only thing close in comedic action. Black Adam needs to battle someone more serious about the violence that's happening around them. Shazam 8s about Candy and skipping school type shit. Should never have been a heavy weight character

I also enjoyed Shazam 2. I had fun and would watch again. Im nervous and sad thinking Zachary Levi may not come back but I hope I am wrong and he can! If Marvel can bring JK simmons from Spiderman Sam Raimis universe, why not Shazam? Hope it can happen!

Same! The only big problem i had was that the ending was too ... perfect. Like, the cgi monsters and branches just gets thanos-style snapped out of existence, and wonder woman shows up and not only fixes the staff, but also resurrects billy AND fixes the magic tree. No consequence to any actions

It would have been better than the actual movie because the daughters could not take the power directly from the champion. Making black Adam the strongest champion. I don't know why the comics make Adam so obsessed with Billys magic when it's just the same source he uses already..

Honestly the black adam movie existing makes a big plot hole for shazam 2 because the wizard said the magic of the staff died with Billy, but what about black adam?

Making them fight each other was pointless jealous storyline. Adam vs Superman or super girl would make the better story arc.

Teth was Greek I get that, but what's your explanation for saying a kid billy was a roman or Greek champion? That doesn't make sense. He was just a Caucasian kid no ethnic group was specifically mentioned unless it's some nerd wallet type folklore about it in the comics

@@jayleeclough1199 Teth Adam otherwise known as Black Adam was Egyptian in both pre-and post-crisis continuities. He wasn't Greek, second I know Billy is an ordinary American kid. What I'm talking about is power scaling wise, since both Shazam (Draws his power from the Greek/Roman Pantheon) and Black Adam (draws his power from the Egyptian Pantheon).

How was the movie i was quite interested in it as the end part for shazam (movie 1) was quite horrific for me, heavily dislike on the power rangers come back. Was that theme carried to the next movie?
