She's a strong female character in the sense that she's well written, and can take care of herself. She doesn't really have a strong code of morality.

Revvy doesn't work for the church. She works for lagoon company. And Lagoon company works for whoever's paying them. Which is often the local church or the Russian mafia. Although honestly...they just prefer to work for hotel Moscow because they really don't want any problems with the women running the joint. Black lagoon is a great anime, go watch it.

That pool scene was pretty fucked up indeed. Not only he can't swim, he's bleeding out, and the pool has chlorine, so it must hurt like hell for him. Also, Shou Tucker is from Full Metal Alchemist. He burned his wife to death and fused his own daughter with her dog, all so he could keep his comfortable life as an alchemist.

The Black lagoon look like amazing anime. Revy is an absolute queen, the definition of the queen of black Air Force. Revy is a menace and the fact that she has a cold face and seen to not care at all. She’s queen of black Air Force. Also Roberta is something else. Like Roberta is a terminator and is even colder than revy. Trust me, this show is absolute awesome and interesting to watch

18:19 it is possible to cut a bullet in the sense that a blade can hold up against it if it is made properly (Forged in Fire even had a test for the final rounds where they fired a gun at the weapon to test it, pretty much every time the bullet is cut into two or three pieces), it is usually a matter of having the speed and reflexes for a human to hit it precisely at the right moment that makes it fantasy. Loved this show, but even with its relative realism it definitely had its absurd moments with clear exaggeration.

the first anime I ever watched was Akira back when it came out on VHS in 91(I was 10). Black Lagoon is a great show, but far too short.

The Black Lagoon anime starts, sometime in late December, of 1993 or early, January 1994 to spring/summer, of 1995. The canon manga is, about one year before, or ahead of the anime. Choose whatever timeline makes, the most sense, to _you._ 🫡🎃
