I've been a small seller on eBay for awhile now, and whenever I send Pokemon cards, I always stuff it full of extra cards and goodies. 80% of the time it's been for a kid and I get a message from their parents thanking me for making their child so happy. That's what it's all about for me

As a buyer, I just wanna tell you.. that works lol. I’ve become extremely loyal to a few sellers solely because they send a few extra goodies. I don’t expect it, but it brought my attention to them more. Now, whenever I seek a card, I check their pages. I’ll buy from them first whenever possible. Not even for the free stuff, just because I feel a sense of loyally to them as a consumer. If I know they have a card a friend is looking for, I tell that friend. Are those cards usually worth more than $0.10-$1? that they send? No. But anyone willing to do that is awesome. I buy Pokémon, Garbage Pail Kids, and sports cards and very niche Walking Dead trading cards lol. Ive even had some sellers send really really nice bonus items, solely because I’d done so much business with them. That’s REALLY cool. Had a guy send a $12 GPK card with my $7.00 order. I messaged him thinking he’d done it on accident. Nope, he’d just sent it because I’d mentioned I’d needed it in the past, and wanted to thank me for all my business. I’ve also had people send free relic cards for the Walking Dead trading cards.

THIS is what the pokemon hobby is all about. So many people in the hobby get so caught up on the money part of it...but everytime i see a Coop video, it just makes my heart happy. I've been collecting and playing since the base set came out. Used to go to events on Saturdays at Media Play and Toys R Us and I'd give people cards they wanted because it made me happy. And I'm still that way today...Giving to others is what life is all about.

All of your acts of thoughtful kindness are truly inspirational. I remember the joy of opening my first 1st generation packs and they were the most precious things to me besides family. Giving children Pokémon cards is such a great feeling. Some kids have parents that refuse to pay for them or can’t. I’ve seen a lot of kids pull cards out of their pockets, folders, I’ve even seen cards wrapped in towels before. Donating a solid binder or the cool little Pokémon ones that come with a pack can go a long way for them as well!

You never know just how something like this might affect someone. I remember as a kid I entered a yugioh tournament with my brothers and I didn’t play by the rules and just set cards down without having the requirements or terms it was clear I had no idea how to play but Every single player i played let me do it too. Kids will remember stuff like this for a lifetime
