Back in the day people did handbrake turns, burnouts, drifts, drag races etc, while I'm not condoning any of that, sitting in your car red lining it in a field is the pinnacle of sad. Be it a supercar or a fiesta.

Im a big petrol head, but I honestly cant see the fascination with sitting there just revving your engine over and over for ages. Just makes you look a melt and sounds awful. Ok if you have a nice V8/V10 give at a few revs, but sitting there boucing off the rev limiter on your 1.4 4cyl engine for 15 minutes just looks stupid. The video literally gave me a headace so Id hate to think what it was like for everyone walking around. Its a shame you cant just walk around and appreciate the look of cars without people having to attention seek and make unessecary noise.
@@98JamesNixon good point , the mclarren ,gtr ,saleen n few others were definitely worth a listen to . But yeah not so much the 4pots . Either way they all sound better under load really .
@@98JamesNixon To be fair, It being a 4 cylinder doesn't mean anything. Some of them can sound really good, Like a proper 4A-GE among others. I highly agree on the rest though, Pop-Bang tunes with a cheap rattly exhaust and such? Those sound really annoying.
In my defence, (I own the polo at 9:20) I polished the car in pitch black the night before and spent the rest of the night fixing my misfire, the poor girl didn’t even get waxed 😬 ps I’m suprised you didn’t mention the lowered stickers on a car that isn’t lowered 😂😂

It’s interesting the different pronunciation of Acura over there. In America its Ack-Yura with more emphasis on the first syllable instead of Ah-Cura with more emphasis on the second syllable.
Tech tip to the individual in the fiesta. If your car burns oil and you do shit with it just to get attention, check oil bevore or, just look on your dashboard, there's a thing, like a oil can where flashes red sometimes, lije in this case....
By the time the oil pressure lights come on you’ve fucked it anyways, better off just not acting and looking like a tool doing that sort of thing anyways

That apparently has a 1.7 puma engine in but the 1.3 endura engine originally fitted…it was an endurance owning one, built resilience for my later life
Sounds like the timing belt snapped on the Fiesta... if it's a 1.7 Puma unit, it needs a timing belt every 35,000 miles or 4 years I think, very frequently anyway.
