This is the longest video that I have ever uploaded, but I didn't want to skip on too many of the details of the building process. I thought that they could help first time builders. I'm actually glad to see that she looked genuinely excited to attempt to build it and they are both having fun( have not finished the video yet). Other RU-vidrs the excitement sometimes seems fake when I've seen similar videos. So I'm glad to see when they have someone who's never built who seems to genuinely want to try it.
5min in and already triggered by the RAM not being in dual channel. Or i'm mistaken, but usually the color coding for the RAM slots is for the channels (also it is usually A1 and B1 why A1 and A2 here? beeeh Gigabyte MB i guess)

@@fynkozari9271 A few summers ago, I picked the parts out with my dad and then ordered them. Pro tip: You want to invest the most amount of time in choosing which parts you want.
@@unsupportedsoftware322 yeah i spent about half a year picking products that i wanted before finally building it aug 2017, ryzen 1700 with vega56. i just changed the gpu to strix 2070 earlier this month to use gsync xb271hu.
I built my first pc about 5 years ago and believe it or not. Almost all the componets i used have gone up in price by %300 so its essentially worth triple or more than what i paid for it. I.e. mobo asus m489gtd3.0 , i spent 125 brand new. It now cost over 500. Just my motherboard alone.
This is the one that gets me to sub. Ive built my own rigs no worries, but this vid demystifies the whole thing for someone who hasn't done this before. David coaches enough to make her comfortable, and shows that if you pay attention, it's a process that's accessible to anyone. It also helps that Anna is supersweet, but cusses like a sailor. Well done to both of you, truly.
Headlamps work really well when building a PC, along with a flashlight. Those old fashioned magnifying glasses when doing the front header connections are a godsend

Good morning Dawid, I checked the motherboard manual and the RAM should be installed in slots A2 and B2 just like any normal dual channel configuration. Great video sir.

I just noticed that the case looks alot like the Enermax Starryfort SF30? The feet, the glass, the rear, the HDD bracket? All the same! Only difference is the top and front (snap-on) cover. Must be build by the same manufacturer ;)
If you are going to go through the trouble to test boot the hardware outside of the case, you may as well take the extra minute to hook up a monitor and actually make sure the hardware is working..

Oops! One of the RAM sticks are in the wrong slot. You should never have them side by side. Gigabyte boards usually tell you which slots to use first. Just don't assume the A1-A2 are correct.
In the case of NVME like that WD, I've always taken the label off (as is designed), after all you don't have good heat transfer to the heat sink through the label.
hmm, not sure are those ram sticks right, check the manual again and the dual channel memory configurations table. its b1 and a1 or b2 and a2 with 2 sticks edit. didnt watch in the end and there ram sticks are in right place, didnt get post or something😂

Why does someone who has never built a computer know that you should test a minimal setup first, before putting anything inside a case, while professional tech youtubers, who should know better, never do that (and, sometimes, it comes back to bit their collective posteriors)?
