Which may sound odd, but your views, philosophies, and insight on life and the greater purpose of our existence and the universe has resonated so heavily with me through out the years of watching what you share. I know greater things must be at work that have brought me to you, and your families videos. Prior to watching The ACE family, I didn't know love and a family like YOURS existed. You've inspired me to want to be a mother, a wife, a family member. To be honest, hopeful, and kind. I see a lot of myself in your familial stories you've shared, especially with upbringing and the female side of your family as well. Seeing as Catherine shared her beautiful miracles with us, I'm going to share mine... warning though cos it's a long one! My mum got stage 3 breast cancer in 2016 and it was hell on earth watching her going through treatment after treatment and being so tired and sick all the time. I prayed so hard to take her place, but what I didn't know is that my dad prayed harder. My mum was told in Oct 2020 that she was cancer free and all trace of it was gone. We were so happy and could finally breathe easy, that was our miracle #1. Then exactly one week later my dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer of the esophagus. The treatment was hard to watch him go through, but my dad said from the start that all he wanted was two years, just two years and then the powers that be could take him. He was doing great until the end of June 2022. He had gone to bed after a long day of excitement, meaningful talks and reminiscing about the life we'd all had together, it was an amazing day. 5 minutes after he had gone to bed my mum shouted me to come through to the living room as my dad was up again telling us that he was just going to have a coffee and then he had to go and get the food from the Naffi to take to the lads in the barracks. Then he told us about his duties for the day. He left the army 42 years ago, so I instantly knew something was seriously wrong. He spent weeks and weeks in hospital, but it was just like half of him had already gone that first night. We were told that his cancer had spread and he had 3 brain tumors but that the cancer had also spread to his organs. They gave him full head radiotherapy to help slow down the cancer as that's what he wanted, but it backfired and the cancer took revenge. The oncologist told us he may not last the week...my dad once again proved him wrong and hung in there...our miracle #2. My dad kept saying that all he wanted was to come home for his birthday (5th August) and have KFC for his birthday meal... he could barely swallow food at all while he had been in hospital. Well the 5th came and he was still in hospital, so we took him some KFC in anyway so he could at least have half his wish. He shocked the nurses as he managed to get some chicken into his stomach, he was holding out for his KFC and 4 hours later he was at home. He got his full wish and miracle #3. In the last week he was heavily sedated due to the pain he was in, so he couldn't talk and he couldn't wake up. He still managed to move his right hand a little though and we laughed as it looked like he was giving the royal wave, but we also thought he was waving to loved ones from beyond who had come to collect him. On the evening of the 11th September I sat by his side and told him that if he was in too much pain and he couldn't take any more that it was ok to let go. My dad passed away at 07:30 on Sept 12th. I'd woken up at 07:20 and wanted to nip through to see my dad, but had to use the bathroom first. I was told that he had passed over approximately 30 minutes before I'd found him and I don't think it was a coincidence that I woke up at the time I did. I held him, told him I loved him and thanked him for being my dad. He was 3 weeks shy of the full 2 years he asked for, our miracle #4. It's true what Catherine said, these moments in time aren't coincidences. My dad was the author of his own life right to the very end. His funeral is on the 30th Nov and then we get to bring him home one final time, even though we know he never really left us anyway. If you got to the end of this, thank you for taking the time to read my ramblings and I hope it helps people to believe in miracles, because they really do happen even when we aren't looking! 💖💖💖

Oh Catherine I am SOBBING. This has touched my heart so much. I lost my aunt, who was basically my mom, in 2020. She was my best friend, my joy and my heart. The day she passed didn’t even feel real and still to this day I don’t want to believe it. But watching this video and watching your snapchat and everything makes me want to let go of this anger and pain that I have and just come to terms with it. I miss her so much and to able to connect with her would mean everything. Exactly one month after she passed I met my now husband, whom I believe she sent to me. 10 months after she passed I found out I was pregnant with my now baby girl who is named after her. When I look at my little girl, all I see is my aunt and it warms my heart….. I’ll catch my daughter looking up at the ceiling and reaching for something and I can feel it’s her… ugh this video really got to me. I hope your mom was able to get that closure that she needed❤

That is so crazy that she said 33 years! Because that was literally how and when my family got started. My mom and dad moved from Vietnam and China to the United States 33 years ago, met each other, got married and had me & my brother. That’s just so crazy l.. When they cried, I felt that.. my grandpa passed away from cancer in 2016.. that was the first ever realest loss I ever experienced, I was 16 & Catherine’s mom was 15 when her mama died. I feel like this whole entire story. We are all connected. I can’t believe! Catherine is really a light. Catherine, her dad also lived in China for business. My grandpa use to travel for business. I lost my mom in 2017 she was my best friend, so watching this brought back so memories of that loss how important it is to hold your loved ones close because they can leave you at anytime. Tomorrow is not promised. Catherine, you are such a kind beautiful soul, your connection to your grandma is truly beautiful, it's a love so true. I'm so sorry your mom had to go through such a loss at a young age 'I was in my 30's and still hit me like a tone of bricks. No one should ever have to go through a loss like that. This is so pure! Catherine, we connect on so many levels! You have helped me so much. I lost my mom in 2018, when I was on 24. I was the next of kin and cremated her because that's all I could afford. The best way for me to grieve her was I did her hair and make up and had to dress her. Because I couldn't afford that either. But I took that time to grieve her and cried! Your such a light in my life! Thank you for sharing. ❤️
