The salesman didn't do a good job on the delivery. I have been watching videos and had more information than him. For one thing he never mentioned that the shifter went from drive to neutral to reverse and you don't need to dismount to change direction. There are several other features he missed.
The fuel funnel is for refueling from a Gas Can. It's not intended for filling up at a pump. And you shift it buy putting the Bottom Arch of your foot on the shifter and swinging your leg back or forward. No need to apply the park break just be stopped preferably with your right foot on the break pedal. It's simple to operate my wife and I have owned our Rallies since spring of 2019. She Will Absolutely love riding it as long as You don't make it complicated for her. This is from a fellow longtime rider and a Ryker rider for a few years. And a man that has been Married to the SAME woman since 1987. You have to use the KISS method and make sure she feels comfortable and happy 👌👍👍😎
I believe they are an American thing. Can-Am is short for Canadian American. They make mostly off road vehicles, and then they ventured into the 3-wheel motorcycle area. Absolutely awesome bikes.

Is that the 900? I was pushing more towards the Spyder, but I do like this all-black one!!!! Don't you have to wear helmets?? We can't move bikes without them on.
It's the 600, but the 900 is identical. We were wearing helmets, but she took hers off in the parking lot to hear my instructions. In Illinois there is no helmet law, but we wear ours religiously.
@@rykerbill6832 because you live in a State with dumbass laws. It's a TRIKE! Period! In Oregon you dont need any endorsements to ride 3 wheels. If we wanted to get real technical about the answer....Its a snowmobile with wheels!
@@RobertsRideAlong In PA it is considered a motorcycle because you straddle the seat. In the slingshot you are sitting in the seat and your passenger sits next to you.
im thinkin 900 rally so can put two seat on the middle sport w the max atch. bot 14k then write off? the rally can ofrd this cudl to a lil gota watch for radiator.how it hold up

I own a Can am and I love it! So I’m not bad mouthing them at all but I DON’T CALL IT A BIKE OR A MOTORCYCLE BECAUSE IT’S NOT! it’s motorcycle ish so his wife didn’t by a motorcycle she bought a Can am! But good for her!

@@spyderlady Darlington is a beautiful little town. We are looking more at North Carolina. We want to be nearer to the ocean and my family. That and I want a pet Capybara, Sloth, and monkey. We can only get those in NC. LOL
OMG!! PPE!! And first thing you both need to do is read the Owners Manual. Setting the park break and getting Off the bike to Handshift was Painful to Watch. By doing things improperly like shifting it is going to make her think it's confusing and difficult to ride. She Will loose intrest and it will sit instead of being ridden Really Sad that even the guy at the Dealership didn't know even the basic 💩 about the bike 😢
We actually wore our helmets around town. She just didn't wear it in the parking lot. She is so short she can't reach the reverse with her foot so she has to dismount. She hadn't had much time to play around and learn the bike when the video was made, but we are both more familiar with it now. Thanks
That's awesome! I bought the same bike(also my first bike) and turned it into a Bat(man) cycle.It's black and red, it has a bat on the fronk and the tires have bat logos on the hubs. They are a blast to ride! Good luck with it,enjoy!!!
Didn’t they teach her anything at the dealership before she left damn! And he just as clueless as her! You don’t have to put the parking break on and of before putting it in reverse or drive!

Any after market parts? Also, I am guessing you can purchase the offered accessories after you bring it home?
@@3chrisb we haven't purchased any aftermarket parts yet. There are many available through a lot of vendors. She's still deciding what she wants to do to it.
How tall is she? If you don't mind me asking. I am thinking about purchasing one and I am pretty short. Just trying to find out if I'd look right on the Ryker 😂 Thanks and be safe!

@@dankim7031 Never a problem. You can't go crazy fast on them anyway. I managed to get hers up to 84 going down a steep hill. LOL. Good luck and ride safe.
