I love this song. Mark McGuinn only had 2 albums in his short career. This was one of 3 singles off his first album, and my favourite. They never play it on the radio anymore. :-( I wish +KaneBrown would sing it.
I went to a concert with Sara Evans, Lonestar and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and Mark opened, at the new Seahawks stadium... I had no idea who he was, and don't think many did, but he just rocked... I was 10 rows from the field, and remember during "Steven Rudy", the security guards right by the stage turning around, because they didn't expect BASS at a country concert... Been a fan ever since
Super-OUCH! So well written. Hearing a verse where the singer has to listen to the bartender tell him how wonderful it is to see someone so in love is almost too painful to take!
Mark is still around and still writing great music! One of my favorites is on Uncle Krackers new CD. :) i agree, he doesn't get the exposure his music should get!
final lyrics of song "believe me, I know my baby and she doesn't dance. believe me she doesn't dance". ouch, life can be a bitch sometimes. great song. a song that can be related to.
