I thought it was a gallant effort to improve the quality of life of the little horse who clearly has not given up on life. Everything isn’t where it should be so I understand what you are working with. From her expression she seemed relatively comfortable, she’s always going to be lame from the damage to her leg but it’s impressive she’s happy to move forward. She herself is not ready for heaven!
Wow, just looking at the scarring on her leg, that horse is a real fighter. You guys did a great job and it's nice to see that you're not trying to rush the healing process for her hoof. It'll get there and it'll be worth it in the end

It makes me so mad they have these beautiful animals but pay no attention to them till it is almost too late. People like that should go to jail and stay there. They have the privilege of owning or of God's beautiful creatures and then ruin it for anyone.
A PORTABLE ULTRA SOUND WOULD GIVE A GOOD PICTURE OS THE BONE AND MUSCEL ETC AS WELL. WARRIOR GIRL IS A BEAUTY.. SHES L8VELY AND QUIET. SHE KNOWS U R HELPING HER HOOF. POOR HORSE. SHE CAN WALK BETTER BUT ONE SIDE STILL NEEDS MORE TRIM. GOODWORK YOUNG MAN!!!
Da die Verletzung des Beines scheinbar nicht mehr so akut ist, dass sie gar nicht auftritt, so muss sich doch die Muskulatur wieder an das Gehen auf vier Beinen gewöhnen! Das wird noch einiges an Hufkorrektur benötigen. Danke dafür!

It's different situations a lot of old people have these animals around when they're barely getting around themselves. Then sometimes people gets these horses from the wild or a rescue.

Always always, cases show just how much life is in the animal. They are never ready to lay down and die. The temps in North East, USA, NYC, Starue of Liberty area, had been over 100° for more than ten consecutive days. No rain to speak of. Maybe distant thunder, small showers but nothing substantial as a day's rain. I hope this girl continues to get better and do well. Luckily, you have her and can do something. Thank God for your care and patience because once she knows she's feeling better after your treatment, she won't be bad. They know. She can run now, get stronger and eat more because she can get around to different areas. You guys are Angels on Earth ❣️❣️❣️

It looks to me as though the coffin bone is touching the sole. She is in great pain and besides pain meds until it comes through the floor of the hoof nothing can be done. The kindest thing wiuld to put her down as she will never be able to bear a persons weight nor carry the weight if a foal. Sometimes you have to be ' cruel' to be kind. How they let this get to this state is beyond me as they had said that she was so thin when they had her that they didn't think that she would make it through.she is quite well covered so have been under their care for 2/3 months at least and they left her hoof in this state. The ' blacksmith' drew blood and still carried on. At the end it looked as though the horse was rocking on a badly worked on hoof as the toe was clipped high as was the heel. I feel so sad for this poor animal. Shame on these people who say that they care for their animals and people who call themselves farriers. Neither statement os true. 👎🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬😭😭😭😭
You do realize she didn’t get into this condition in their care, right? They rescued her from abuse and are now trying to fix her. She has already gained a lot of weight.
@@MiMi-kx1vy more weight means more pressure on her hoof and more pain, with the coffin bone about to completely break through. Sometimes it is more kind to put an animal down if its quality of life isn't going to improve.

It’s amazing how calm the horse is! Poor animal… 😢 Despite the pain she was in, she was standing still letting the man to his job like if she knew everything is done to her now is being done for her health improvement 💜

Es blutet frisch. Also muß noch irgendwo eine aktive Entzündung sein. 3% Wasserstoffperoxid H2O2 zum desinfizieren und gegen den entzündlichen Prozess könnte helfen. Die Besitzer könnten den Huf selber damit einsprühen, mehrmals am Tag. Damit keine Fliegen rangehen. Ich würde das Bein des Pferdes in einen kleinen Eimer mit H2O2 stellen, damit auch das Gelenk heilen kann. Sie ist so lieb und würde den Eimer nicht umwerfen.
A medicated boot would help heal the quicked parts and help turn her foot back. A LONG process that could take a year or longer of new trims and new corrective boots. So what if she will never be rideable. She can still live in relative comfort.
I think you doing a great job for this little horse, we can see it's a long-term process to make her feel comfortable as possible. One thing I was wondering about is if you watch some Chinese farriers they use these short hand built wooden sawhorses with a long piece of old tire thread nailed to the top to cushion a horse's hoof when working instead of the blue horse hoof stand which seems more difficult to use for a farrier
Poor girl that had to hurt. I can't imagine how much pain she was in. Also here in Rigby Idaho (where I am from) it's dry and hot. Today it was 92 degrees. Tomorrow it's supposed to be 97 degrees. Idaho is a desert heat with not much humidity. My friends and I laugh because we say Idaho has 2 seasons the holy crap it's hot outside or holy crap it's cold outside. Have a great day everyone.
She’s such a beautiful horse it looks like she had her other hooves trimmed so why didn’t The farriers &/or vets do anything about that hoof a long time ago?? I hope she feels better soon🥰❤️❤️
Poor mare. I hope she gets to live out the rest of her days in a good pasture with grass, trees, and other horses. She deserves just being a cared for pasture pet. No work or being ridden ever again, just rest and open grazing.
People need to notice....that her other hooves are fine!!! There is a trouble in that hoof and probably born that way!!! He tells you it was a period of no care! But the hoof can be trimmed and drained if abscessed. He says that she walks that way! These people are working on it!!!!❤
Shame on those who let this magnificent horse suffer for so long, God bless all those who are doing their best to save it's hoof, she needs lots of painkillers, love and attention. I🙏🙏🙏 she makes it through this difficult time.
It would be a blessing if the Farrier Titus Moss from Georgia USA could work on this beautiful horse's hooves. He's worked with horses for years and has so much compassion for them🐎
You asked about the weather where I am: Eastern Texas Gulf of Mexico coastline. 127mm annual rain fall. Mostly in the spring and fall. Tropical weather can bring much more in the summer. Relative humidity high all year.
