She-Hulk Review Episode 9 Finale - This is ABSURD! 

She-Hulk: Attorney at law episode 9 is the series finale, it's FINALLY OVER.....until a possible season 2? They are certainly hoping for it judging from the comments in the show. And after the fun I've had making videos on it, at this point I'm all for it. but what a show it's been and so brutally honest in the self inserts and projection that it shows a horrifying vision into the life of your average Hollywood script writer. Spoiler, it's not good. But what did you think of the series or what you saw from the review? Let me know your thoughts down below and as always, thanks for watching :)

Jen getting out of serious criminal charges because she lives a life of privilege is the most realistic piece of writing in the ENTIRE series 🤣

Jen in episode 1: "I control my anger better than you!" Jen throughout the series: "I was angry!"

It kinda irked me that she called Tony Stark loosing both his parents “daddy issues”.

The Ancient One : "It's precisely what's kept you from greatness. Arrogance and fear still keep you from learning the simplest and most significant lesson of all." Dr. Stephen Strange : "Which is?" The Ancient One : "It's not about you!" Jen: "My life, my stakes, my story, my show!"

She Hulk got angry and lost control? That's funny because in the first episode she said because she's a woman she is super great at controlling her anger. Did they just forget their own story?

“I just want him to hold himself accountable” was the most ironic line of a show I’ve ever heard 😂

"The one time you were held accountable for your own actions, you changed all of reality to get out of it!" - Truer words never spoken

“I’m great at disappointing people, because I do it infinitely more than you!” - She-Hulk breaking the fourth wall.

“You are not a hero bcuz you’ve never sacrificed anything for anyone!” -Disparu Perfectly said!!

the fact that Kevin Feige didn't want his face anywhere near this train wreak so much that they had to make the robot instead... says all you need about the series.

It's like the Critical Drinker said for Batwoman:"It's a superpower no antagonist can take on, a sense of entitlement". This is the perfect definition for She-Hulk

The writing in this series is a masterclass in gaslighting.

Holy crap, the leaked script was accurate. They did it, the crazy bastards really did it. They blew up their own show to own the fans by doing every single awful thing that we predicted that they'd do. The self harm is over 9,000. These writers need help, real help.

I do like the fact that by the end of the show, Jen became such an god level Karen that she is able break dimensions in order to speak with the manager. Only to then demand reality in the MCU be altered so she can bang dare devil again…..

I got to say my favorite part of this show is how she makes her whole case about how no one has the right to privacy in episode 8, but is super pissed when they take her private information in episode 9.

Honestly this “finale” looks like the writers were actually expecting the show to get canceled halfway through the season and then had to quickly write/film the last episode in their own writer’s room in a last ditch panic after realizing it was still going..

Karen Hulk literally goes to another dimension to speak to the manager. Incredible writing.

"Powers aren't the villain, he is" amazing writing. Almost as good as "Do you know why a ship floats and a stone cannot?"

Imagine how pissed off Spider-Man is gonna be when he finds out he could have just written his own ending instead of making the entire world forget him…

I have the same question as I did in episode 2; how is Jen immediately broke the INSTANT she loses a job, as a LAWYER? Is her being completely financially incompetant a choice of the writers?

This might actually kill Mauler. I'm scared he'll die watching this episode.

Jen: breaks the 4th wall to change the outcome of the ending to her own show Tony, blackwiddow and quicksilver: wait you can do that? Why couldn't I do that?

I love how Jens reason for her actions was that she was angry. Like are you kidding me. She blatantly egnored Bruce's lessons on controlling her anger and told him straight to his face that she can control it infintielly more than him, plus punched him in the face, the man responsible for bringing everyone back from the blip gets rewarded with a punch in the face. Although in the last episode where she actually got genuinely angry she has a huge outburst, destroys a good chunk of a building, chased after people, and almost put someone 6ft under. The irony has me flabbergasted. Maybe if you stopped obsessing over yourself with your inflated ego and actually took those lessons, you would probably not have been put into a maximum security prison. I hope to god that this show improves for the next season or gets removed from the internet entirely. This show is an absolute disgrace to marvel and it's characters, pure shame overall.

Jen being angry at Aboms non-apology is wow, i remember episode one her non-apology to Bruce. Honestly, he's being a speaker at an event, if thats the worst thing he's doing as a giant super mutant being, thats pretty tame. Also 'I would murder you to protect kevin' 'that's not healthy' this from the woman who said 'I would kill for you Megan thee Stallion!'

36:12 "I would murder you for Kevin!" "That's unhealthy." When she literally said the same exact thing herself about Megan Thee Stallion. The writers really do forget their own script constantly

From the second I heard her say she has dealt with worse than Bruce because she got cat called I knew instantly the show stood 0 chances and im glad I was right

When she said "because I was angry" they should replay the part when she tells Bruce: "Jennifer Walters : Here's the thing, Bruce. I'm great at controlling my anger. I do it all the time. Whem I'm catcalled in the street. When incompetant men explain my own area of expertise to me. I do it pretty much every day because if I don't I will be called emotional or difficult or... might just literally get murdered. So, I'm an expert at controlling my anger because I do infinitely more than you!"

“Bruce went to space and everyone was sad….that you didn’t go with him…”. I died laughing

I like to imagine a different conversation going on between Jen and Kevin: Basically, Kevin straight up tells her that the show is a disaster and they're pulling the plug on it. Jen is confused. "What about all the dangling plot threads?", she asks. "What plot threads?", he replies, "There was barely a plot to begin with." Jen asks "Well what about the engaging court room dramas?" Kevin brings up on the monitors that certain screenshot about the writers' ability to write compelling court room dramas. "Oh", Jen says dejectedly. "Honestly, this show has been a mess from day one, and I really don't care anymore how this finale ends, cause it'll be the last episode of She-Hulk. Ever." Kevin states with complete indifference. Jen is shocked. "Wait", she exclaims, "You can't just cancel my show! I've still got so much stuff to do!" Kevin sighs. "Like what? In the span of nine episodes, you have remained the same self absorbed child who refuses to take accountability for your own actions, ignores every smidgen of advice that isn't your own, slept around with any man that gave you a compliment, attempted to murder people that pissed you off while claiming to be an expert at anger management and completely relied on bottom of the barrel cameos for the majority of the season just to get people to tune in... to middling results. Well guess what. Shows over. Goodbye. Roll credits!" Jen freaks out. "Wait, WA-" (Credits roll) (End credits scene) Jen: "Oh, guess I'm still here. Well... see you in season 2?" Kevin: "Absolutely not." *She-Hulk will NOT return* appears on screen. Jen grabs the *NOT* and Kevin and her fight over it. Fade to black

I'm struggling to think of one example of Jen doing or saying something helpful or generous or kind or selfless towards anyone else, without being paid or obliged or motivated by thirst to do it. I honestly cannot recall one single example of baseline human decency from this monster of a character.

I never thought I would live long enough to see an angry dad with a garden hose be the most likable and relatable character in a series.

This show has been a shining beacon of hope for all piss-poor writers around the world... you too can achieve anything with no effort whatsoever.

The problem with going 'Meta' is that it undermines the stakes of everything. It works in Airplane and Blazing Saddles because we are not expected to take the universe seriously. But She-Hulk is meant to be part of a universe that took itself very seriously and featured Global threats. The Last Action Hero managed to pull it off thirty years ago because it was still fresh, but also because it was part of a wider commentary on the difference between the cinema world and the realities of the real one.

When she walked into K.E.V.I.N.’s room, I truly thought for a second that she was gonna meet a version of Kang the Conqueror who was trying to sabotage her story, to prevent her from joining the Avengers because he had witnessed the might of Hulks, by writing an awful show. And then I got really disappointed..

“The funny thing about the show, literally every single one of Jen’s problems would not have existed if she was just married with kids.” Best line.

She complained to the manager... And the manager rewrote reality for her. Basically became a super-powered Karen.

"Nobody cares about your feelings, especially when you punch them in the face." That is a magnificent quote.

When Jen hears that someone would commit murder for KEVIN: "Okay, that's creepy. " When Jen is with Meghan Thee Stallion: "I would kill for you!"

I'm surprised you didn't point out that the wide shot of her packing up her office showed she wasn't wearing her power inhibitor on her ankle.

the scene with robo-kevin was basically the anti-toxic masculine version of a fight. instead of confronting the problem of fighting a hulk, she "had a conversation" and gets her way by speaking to the universe's manager.

"When she gets angry or outraged a startling metamorphosis occurs..." Holdup, holdup! Last I checked, she was INFINITELY better at controlling her anger... Little oopsie there writers.

It's amazing how the whole "attack the fans" mentality has snowballed and ended up with this - a show that is just a middle finger to any and all critics. They are so privileged and so used to making content for themselves that they can't wrap their brains around folk not liking their shitty writing. Hell, I have stuff on DVD and Bluray ranging from 1903 to modern day and there is always something I can admire and appreciate despite the production values being so basic. So for this to be made in 2022 by Disney and to be this bad....

She literally tried to murder Daredevil! The show writers are just nuts.

I felt NOTHING AT ALL watching that Season Finale. I have NEVER been SO UNinvested in a character before until this show. Like i legitmately did NOT care ABOUT or FOR ANYTHING on the screen💀😭

No matter what happens this will always be the writers favorite episode. Because they get to see themselves. They probably think look we did a stan lee!

The whole episode, I kept looking over at my husband saying, “what is HAPPENING right now??” The plot didn’t flow, whatsoever 😂

... did the show runners forget that Tony created the Hulkbuster specifically because of how destructive, dangerous, threatening, and SCARY the Hulk truly was? He was always looked at as half monster.

We figured out the true villain of she hulk: *Accountability*

She already literally broke the fourth wall when she hopped into our world to speak to Kevin but then she started to talk to us again while already in our world so like who is she talking to at that point....is there a 5th wall???

But if she changed reality to make things the way she wanted them in the end, then all those villains would be able to get away with their crimes as she would not be able to prove legitimately. - Todd 'Hulk King' wouldn't have turned into a hulk and therefore she would have no proof. - She asked for the fight between Hulk and the Abomination to not exist, which practically turns him back into human form. Meaning she would once again have no proof... Cause all of these things are linked together in what shitty story there is. If you get rid of one, you get rid of the others.

It is genuinely impressive how this show manages to perfectly sum up everything that's wrong with the current generation of mid-thirties feminist girlbosses without showing the faintest hint of self-awareness that these are in fact character flaws and moral defects. In general self-insert characters will be idealised versions of the author, but in this case the writers are apparently so narcissistic they don't consider any trait they have to be a flaw, so they just wrote themselves into the show warts and all. It's really quite astonishing. If the show had any self-awareness at all it would be a biting critique of the writers and their self-serving ideology.

MCU Stans when She-Hulk tries to murder a man over releasing her sex tape: Perfectly understandable. She was hurt, people don't always react prefectly to being betrayed. MCU Stans when Walker executes the terrorist who just murdered his best friend: Literally irredeemable, I can't believe the final had him acting like a hero.

I don’t even watch She Hulk or Rings of Power. I just laugh while I watch you for an hour instead. Incredible.

She-hulk never Disappoints when it comes to Disappointing

Funniest thing for me is that this series ended with this version of She-Hulk showing the most basic Karen behavior by wanting to speak to their manager.

" I got water pressure for days " - Best line in the show spoken by the father spraying news hacks with his water hose.

She Hulk looked so cool and menacing in that intro just by having someone painted in green instead of all that crappy CGI.

I think it's really self reflective to disney cause it's sometimes really feel like it was done by an AI checking boxes

Pug definitely wasn’t petrified, he was excited. He showed how big of a fan of the avengers he was in episode 2 or 3

Imagine if instead of the therapy session episode, or maybe even earlier on the first date thingy, the guy who had stolen her blood ran off and the first thing he did after leaving the house was inject the blood on himself, then he died BECAUSE RADIOACTIVE CELLS and Jen was accused of murder as she was the last person who saw him. Then the rest of the series would be her trying to prove she's innocent while looking for the big villains. I'd watch that.

She failed to mention that Gamora and Nebula (both women *gasp*) also had daddy issues. Pretty sure everyone nowadays has issues that stem from their parents whether they were good or bad parents.

Deadpool breaks the 4th wall because he's completely insane in his own universe. The other characters actually see him talking to himself, he's not just going off into mind adventures. I have no idea how they'd explain her in an MCU movie.

Japan does a wonderful job of writing slice of life anime. Female and male writers alike, capable of not only writing a slice of life anime, but also giving it enough plot that there is a very good story. The helpful Fox sunoko-san is a great example. A man going through a tough time ends up having a fox girl help him in his home life to help him deal with the stress he goes through at work. There are comedy aspects but it is an entire genre that the writers have no experience in. The writers put their back into it for the 8th and 9th episode, however for a twist to work, you need foreshadowing. This twist ending was not foreshadowed at all, and it felt like the writers were writing this one week at a time, while spending 2 days listening to critics of every episode. There are perfectly good legal comedies out there already, so she-hulk isn't breaking new ground. ace attorney is one of them. Where is the "hero's journy", "character growth", "consequences" and such that we come to expect from a good story?

Okay, quick question, who would you rather see pop out of your screen - She Hulk, or Sadako Yamamura? Also, shouldn't the ending have been: Todd injects himself with the serum, then dies? It would work as a anticlimactic joke, with the set-up being Banner talking about how She Hulk survived contact with his blood due to her genetics. Oh, wait, that would require the writers to have paid attention to their own story. So instead we get the incredible Karen breaking out of her universe to hijack her universe and turn Daredevil into her personal fuck-slave, essentially making her like the Scarlet Witch in Wandavision, but more rapey.

The writers show how family always stays by Jen and is there for her. And that her bosses and coworkers are backstabbed and drop her at the first sign of trouble with no loyalty. Yet, somehow the message is that Jen should choose career over family and that that is the right choice. So strange.

Captain America: In the wrong hands, the super soldier serum leads to people like the Red Skull. Spider-Man: With great power comes great responsibility. She-Hulk: Super powers going to the best person for the job is bad!

Before braking the fourth wall you need establish the four walls (story). We never got sucked into a compelling story, we were stuck as observers of a cringe fest, so when ever the "fourth wall" was being broken it was only a double cringe effect.

If She-Hulk looked like she did in the intro but the lines remained the same, Some of the scenes could actually have been funny. Imagine all the date scenes but shes built like Lou.

We finally discovered the funniest part of She-Hulk (and it’s not everything coming back to bite her), it’s the water pressure joke from the father.

"Yes, we are clowns. So what? That was our intention" - She Hulk writers.

a LAWYER moves back in with their parents? Shouldn't an adult that has been a lawyer for many years have a significant savings, if not their own house?

She literally did ZERO superhero activities in this entire show. The closest she got was in the first episode when she saved the people in the courtroom from a big flying table hitting them.
