Great reaction! Perhaps give Perennial live at Wacken 2019 and/or Who is Gonna be the One live a watch/listen. Enjoy your journey down the Jinjer rabbit hole.
great reaction check out their official video sit stay roll over, outlander and scissors all older stuff from when Tatiana had dreds you won’t be disappointed!!!!
thanx for your interest on one of the best bands and one more time > welcome to the JINJER ARMY................... warm greetings from germany and please stay safe
Hearing Pisces got Greg over the shock that Tatiana can produce, now after watching live performance of Teacher, Teacher the showmanship of Jinjer is nicely demonstrated or showcased -- permit me to suggest a review and reaction to Jinger's "I Speak Astronomy." 'nuff said!
Totally agreed. It's about their hometown getting caught in the 2014 war in eastern Ukraine which now has engulfed the whole nation. A powerful anti-war song that speaks powerfully to the experiences of the millions of ordinary people caught in every war.
Vortex (OMV), Judgment and Punishment (One Take Vocal Performance), Perennial (Live at Wacken 2019), Who Is Gonna Be the One (Live from Kyiv), Sit Stay Rollover, I Speak Astronomy, and sooo many more. Keep ‘em comin man!
Jinjer has alot of songs worth reacting to..id do vortex or home back next just so can hear a song when she uses her lows, and yes she can get extremely low
Love that you’re falling feet first down the Jinjer rabbit hole where Queen Tatiana is the harsh vocals goddess. You cannot go wrong with any of their songs from beginning to today. Great reaction❤️
...cool cuz....wherever you go with these guys it will be good....to see tati really use her instrument check out "judgement and punishment" one take vocal....incredible....another great reaction to my favorite band ever...and im 63...lol....thanks man...peace....
I am an older metal head myself. I saw Jinjer in Chicago last November and it was so cool to see many old dudes like us at their show! They have gotten me excited about music again!!
I don’t care which song you do next, just as long as you keep reacting to Jinjer! By the way, the machine gun sound you heard is called blast beats and the end where the crowd separated and ran at each other is called a wall of death.
Great that you enjoyed it. They have so many great songs, of which this is just a fun sampling: Perennial has some beautifully technical cleans, Judgement and Punishment one-take explores another clean vocal genre and the musical composition is great. Home Back has become one of their most significant songs being about their hometown being caught in the 2014 war in eastern Ukraine and now applying to much of their nation, as well as speaking for millions of ordinary people caught in every war around the world. On The Top live in Kiev has great belting an an amazing live video. Pit Of Consciousness live in Kiev hits hard and is a perfect storm of Jinjer awesomeness. I Speak Astronomy official has a beautiful video and is one of the few love songs Tatiana as written- a call to the universe to find the perfect mate, with a few brutal growling sections mixed in cuz Tati isn't going to sugar coat anything. ;)
Hey Greg....you bring tears to my eyes...I see you genuinely like this music....love your reactions....I'm an old guy of 62, but I can enjoy n appreciate young people outside their comfort zone giving what I love a chance for their ears to like or dislike...hats off to many of you first time listers to this type of music....and of course I have a motive for telling you that I like you man.....I ask many reactors to continue their journey to include other bands as well, but very few seem to care...not sure if it's my age or just not a patriot....I subscribe but money gets you noticed I guess....I'm hoping you give a couple of my favorite bands a listen on your channel....I won't overwhelm you but in case you like n want a couple more....thank you bro, you won't regret it ...."within temptation".....faster, dangerous (feat. Xibit), shed my skin, titanium......."lacuna coil".....trip the darkness, enjoy the silence, spellbound, heavens a lie....."adelitas way"...... invincible, the collapse, sick....bro, I'm looking forward to your enjoyment tears....I know it's a testosterone thing....love ya man....
Great reaction. Tatiana is amazing. I’d recommend her collaboration with Twelve Foot Ninja. They did a song together called Over and Out. Twelve Foot Ninja is amazing as well. Their videos show their sense of humor as well as their amazing musicianship. They are worth digging into as well. Thanks.
Love your channel dude... Really cool re-watching epic metal, through your first time eyes and ears...!! I takes me back... Thank you man, Peace out from all your UK Fans.. 🤘x...
It's always fun watching people experience Jinjer, they are a great band and rarely play the same style twice. Their talent has been earned through years of touring and playing together. Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev or Home Back OMV shows Tatiana's incredible low range, Bad Water is all clean vocals. To understand how this band has evolved into a musical juggernaut, try Outlander or Sit, Stay, Roll Over - these are a bit older when they were more Metalcore. Their catalogue is deep, enjoy your journey! 🤘
This is another great workout song. Had that hype tempo to help you push through another set. Great reaction and that ending gets everyone, you think okay they're letting it fade away. Psych we gonna kick your ass for a few more bars.
Awesome reaction bro, judgment and punishment the one take version should be your next one because it shows you what she is doing live as well as some changes that you would like
Jinjer is the best. You need to check Perennial (live at wacken), Juzgement (one take) and Home Back, i would say in that order. And yeah, this group grows in you with every new song you listen.
Bro, welcome to the Jinjer universe!)) I'm sure you'll get the most hype clips, but I would strongly advise you to start with the very first ginger clips. You should have seen how they have evolved over the years. It would be an exciting journey, and many would gladly go through it again with you. I can't post links - it's inconvenient from the phone. I can't speak English, I write through a translator.
Hey Greg, I can see your recognising and digging the specialness of this band. They are not only original but also technical on a very high level. And that from of all places Ukraine! Have fun.
This took my song of the year for 2019. All 4 of them are tremendous at what they do. This is not for everyone.... the very angular, brain-engaging, "proggy" timings (even if it does go to a comfortable 4/4 for the chorus!), & range in feel from ferocious blast beats to that beautiful chilled clean-guitar-chords-with-bass-taking-melodic-lead passage. If you can keep up with this without years of becoming accustomed to the "acquired taste" of this kind of complex music, you're doing well my friend!! Maybe take a look at their single "Vortex" from last year's "Wallflowers" album if you want to keep challenging yourself. "Vortex" took my song of the year for last year btw. The composition is super impressive, & Eugene's bass work on it nearly made me go & spend money I don't have on a 5-string bass!! LOL ;)
Loved the reaction. It’s always a good time watching others go through the emotions one had their first time listening. Nothing got by you and you were very fun to watch. Enjoy your journey.
Check out some older Jinjer before you continue with newer stuff..try these songs..'Cloud Factory'..'Scissors' & 'Outlander'..also 'Bad Water' all clean vocals in this 1
Great reaction. I see you're going down some excellent rabbit holes (Jinjer, Tool, Nightwish), let me add another metal deep dive: Slaughter to Prevail. Give a chance to "Demolisher", then take a look at Alex Terrible's cover videos (he's the lead singer, and a super nice guy despite the outward scary look).
"Cloud Factory official live video", "Who Is Gonna Be The One live", "Retrospection live in Melbourne", "Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev" and Tatiana's one take vocal of "Judgement and Punishment" are more good ones to check out. Great reaction man
Bro I grew up in the hoods listening to Tupac and Snoop etc...we ain't supposed to like this type of music see, you know what I am talking about... and the first time I heard Jinjer I hated it, all I heard was screaming. But I was forced by shorty to listen to more, and more, coz she loves the shit. Now I am straight up hooked, this band is next level and I am sooo surprised I am into it, I still have to hide it from certain people you know what I am saying... every song is as close to art as you can get, especially lyrically. It reads like poetry and their isn't a music style they haven't mixed in to their music, as you will discover! If you like Reggae next try Judgement and Punishment live one take... and damn she look tasty in that chief. ;)
Reading this made me smile and get a little teary myself! I felt the same way about Tupac, Missy Elliott, and brilliant musicians like Esperanza Spalding! I had been raised on the most bland music ever and so I first got into basic radio pop, and later punk... Worked my way through a lot of genres before I got to rap and r&b and I really didn't get rap at first... But great lyricists, more context and history, and even better producers changed my mind! Some of the best music in the world bar none... I feel the same way you do about Jinjer, their lyrics are breathtaking and their musicianship top notch AND emotionally communicative! Such a balance is rarely achieved regardless of genre, and I am glad you broke out of your usual to experience new and truly great as well!
Jinjer doing Jinjer things. Lots of good songs, I rather like Judgement and Punishment. If no one else has recommended it I'd suggest reacting to Spiritbox or Arch Enemy at some point.
Judgement and Punishment (vocal one-take) is a really great performance and my perfered version to listen to.. but the official video makes it extra creepy.
Someone must have experienced catholic school or catholic orphanage ... in their past if u listen to the lyrics ... and so right they are ... speaking for many that had the so-called "pleasure to be raised by religious fools with false morality and false teachings " where cruelty was a dish served for their pleasure ... religious fanatics that destroy children --- hard to get over --- scared for life ... Thanks Jinjer to for this song ..
If you want to freak out, react to honey and sulfur or/and her ghost in the fog by Cradle of Filth. (As for the second song plz ask me to send you the link bc there is a version with the best guitar riff at the end and u need to dig to find it)
If you're not hearing machine guns in your ears when listening to music whether it's Mozart, B.I.G, Jinjer, SOAD, Nujabes, POTUS...etc - you're listening to trash for your development. Never abide, always learn!
