All the pictures get me. These people made a happy life here & yet they have no family too take over. Such a pity the home was a happy place for this family it’s just a shame the house is left to rot away. This grand Old Lady of a home needs to be loved again.

We can tell that these people were very well off. It's sad that the antiques and furnishings are not being claimed or saved by any children or relatives.

Dave this place was fantastic, the furniture was so beautiful all the details just beautiful. It looked like some other explorer went in and stage that dining table the liquid in the cups were still there. I agree if it were me I would have closed that window too. The house is absolutely beautiful, it’s so sad that it was just left empty to rot. I wonder why? Where is the extended family and why was it left? All the carvings in the heavy wooden features, the big beautiful fire places and you can tell the glassware is crystal. ❤

I like those roses on dresser cabinet in dining room,such beautiful stuff,does have sad feeling,love that big blue bathroom, like that bedroom with golden headboard and foot,just beautiful it had a lot of room in it ,great job Dave ,you do great in the videos ,taking care of other people's property

At 17.:15 - 17:17 there was a whisp in the middle of screen that was odd! Didn't look like a bug. That big bathroom was something! So sad that someone does try to empty and preserve - at least they could sell it. So sad. That was a fine home at one time. Thank you!

Dave such an exquisite home and the furnishings were beautiful. The music accompanying the video was perfect and very fitting. Fireplace was incredible with it's carvings and quality. Sad story but a brilliant time capsule i throughly enjoyed it. 😊 On your way in there was a bobbing Santa on a swing,my mum had one of those. I could spend all day in that bathroom it's epic .I would live there in a heartbeat wow Xxx

I LOVE these Euro explores so much!! Especially the time capsules....mostly bc they go back so much further than anything in the States. I wld love.to just go and sit quietly and absorb rhe sounds and smells of these old places!! I simply ❤❤ it!! I am also impresses with the amount of respect people show in these places vs the States. They aren't trashed and rummaged through. No one is trying to take things that don't belong to them. They are simply trying to learn about the family that lived there before. I am a LITTLE TORN though bc I do wish some sort of agency wld step in to preserve some of the pieces/documents etc...that mean something to the history of the country/culture/family or decade. It is ashame to see so many amazingly beautiful things rot and disintegrate into nothing. Thank you for sharing such an amazing find!! ❤❤

Thank you for what you do. I feel as if I am visiting someone back in a time when they were still alive. It's a good way to show they really were a part of our world as you share a part of them with us. I know they, somehow, love having you as their guest to witness what was.

Lots of french people wash the dishes and then immediately set the table rather than storing the dishes in the cupboard. They say who bother? We will eat again soon. So not surprised to see a table set at all.

Love the bathroom and I agree with you that the windows should be closed when found open just to protect the property ❤

Lovely explore David. I do believe we’ve been here before, but no matter, I loved this place. Blue may not be your color, but I loved it. The fireplace with the blue and dark wood, the kitchen, that gorgeous bathroom! So sad all these lovely things were left. Someone had to take the time to buy each piece of furniture, every dish, all those books and of course, the Vodka. Can’t wait for the next explore, and as always, please be safe ❤

St 33:35 in your video when you are exploring the out-buildings. That area looks like a blacksmiths forge.... Thank you for another amazing explore of this wonderful home....I am always amazed of your explores how everything is intact in these places...furniture....personal items, dishes, antiques, art, clothing... If this house were in the United States...everything or any worth would have been stoles.....or destroyed by vandals and covered with obscene graffiti... Keep healthy and safe in your travels Dave!
