DID THE ENDING COME OUT OF NOWHERE OR IS IT JUST ME??? MAKE SURE TO WATCH PART 1 HERE: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ySYDEWsSozo.html
Hi Paula, This is a random question but it's driving me crazy. Do you know what is in the background behind Steph telling the story? I like watching Steph not just listening to podcast. I would appreciate if you knew and could tell me. I'm sure it's simple but like I said it's driving me crazy. Thank you
@@07Roxy70 Ok, I can see that, thanks so so much for your reply. But what's up with all the green stuff on it? Promise that's my last question. Thank you
@@missmissy_90ght just be flowers maybe they thought it looked empty and added more decorations or maybe just for aesthetic, it also looks like she has flowers on the shelf so probably for aesthetic
The ending should’ve been that when Jae got pushed off the roof, it was by his actual evil twin, and then his twin is pretending to be Jae and that’s why he is pretending to have memory loss
Yeah that would have been way better! Heck even if they suddenly made it a horror and he was possessed by his twin that would have better ending too 😂 literally anything other than DID.
I completely agree with how you feel about the ending as well it almost felt like a cop-out for the shock factor. Not to mention the way this show and other media that tries and fails to portray DID, just makes me feel so uncomfortable. People can have dissociative disorders without being secretly evil, Jekyll and Hyde is a fantasy book 🗣
The ending ruined the drama for me😭 specially with jae. They did Jae dirty. The thing that pissed me was unrealistic situations, god they could’ve done so much better with so many scenes. Thanks steph for this🫶🏽 girl you always keep us happy❤️
As some studying psychology..... I loved the first episodes of this drama but when they started showing DID I was like "hmm..... let's see further...... but the last cringy dialogue exchange of jaebom n chanmi... the psychology student in me literally died. It pained me to watch that scene.
I think the worst part about the medias portrayal of DID is that they're always the perpetrator, their alter ego is some dangerous murderous monster, when in reality they are the true victims. DID is a trauma response, when a kid is exposed to horrific abuse their brain creates different alters in order to block memories of said abuse from the host. People with DID aren't monsters, these alters are created as a means of survival.
I literally love your relationship. It is so refreshingly normal how much of your dynamic you include in what you give to the world. It literally feels like you've figured out the perfect recipe for being a social media TYCOON. While still maintaining the balance in the family that you have.
This drama was so good at the beginning that I binged watched the whole thing in one sitting but the ending really made me mad because I really loved Jae and to turn him into the killer and used the DID as the excuse I didn’t like that. Also I agree that they also made it seem like he was possessed by his twin so that was also like wtf? Overall I loved how it progressed but the ending really was disappointing.
Stephanie! You are always right on time! I’m pregnant af sitting in the hospital monitoring my blood pressure and I’m so antsy & bored. This is just what I need ❤
I’ve never been more immersed in a show before. I’ve been watching an episode and then watching your retelling of the episode🤭 it really does help me get all the info I’ve missed
I personally do not think she memorizes everything, especially since a lot of her BAMs have dialogue that is verbatim. I think she takes notes while watching/reading, and these notes highlight key story moments while also acting as reminder for the lesser moments that are still important. There is nothing wrong with that, to be clear, cause most movie/book critics do the same, so this response is not a criticism by any means. I will say, though, usually in situations like this, the person writes a script of what they are going to say when relaying the story or their criticisms. And while a script is much easier to remember in detail than an entire show or book, THAT is still VERY impressive since it takes way more dedication to memorize than most people can manage.
Stephanie you should try doing a bam on "the long night" (沉默的真相) and "the murderous affair in the horizon tower" (摩天大楼) they're both thriller movies and the plot twist are insane!! ❤❤❤
I literally had to watch the drama after part 1 and omg it was amazing!! But here I am again because Stephanie always makes her storytelling too nice to listen to
The ending could have been so good if they went the paranormal route. Like she has visions of her dead brother as soon as he died. He helps her with little hints. Jay tells her that it never felt as if his brother left. And little things like saying "Isn't it annoying when your siblings are so pushy" Then you could argue that Jays twin made him kill Chris and he didn't want to do it. So you don't have to bring mental illness into it.
"Wire" was one of those series that you had to "suffer" through a first couple episodes and than it was getting better and better. Bloody amazing show. Another amazing video from you. You two😉
I’ve never commented on anything before, but I love watching all of your content every week! and also I would like to suggest the kdrama “Flower of Evil” it’s one of my all time favorite series and it would be so cool to see your reaction! thank you for giving us so much content, and also the thought and time you put into anything you do 😊 I look forward to watching all of your posts!
If they’re still filming kdramas the same way then I’m not surprised. They film these so fast that the writers don’t have time to work everything out. This is why the beginning that has a lot of care put into it is good, but then they’ve got no time halfway through so it starts to go downhill. This was at least true when kdramas aired on a weekly basis.
Thank you sm for posting the second part to this!! I really prefer hearing you telling about a series or a movie more than actually watching them haha. ♡
What a disappointing twist. It would've been more interesting if Jay was actually in a relationship with Chris and his mom was super conservative and homophobic and had someone do that to her own son and Chris.
@@sunmeltsice you do know that media doesnt need to be rainbows and sparkles right? majority of gay people deal with homophobia and seeing a gay/bi char being treated as a normal human being by his friends is better than whatever they did in the show right?
@@varbzrepresentative57 There is nothing more boring and ridiculous than portraying homophobia on screen. Is far too overplayed, clownish and charmless.
@@aliciabasir Clearly you don't know how the lgbtq community is not as open in SK as western countries. The country is very conservative, and portraying homophobia as something unhinged (which it is) in national tv shows is a good thing.
you mentioned how hulu kdrama has bad endings, i completely agree. i watched Connect kdrama because it looked to unique and cool. it started off so great but the ending was so disappointing.
man, from the moment jae signed with his left hand as jake, i was so ready for it to actually be jake pretending as jae because all he could see in the mirror is his twin so he decided to be jae broooo
Been watching your videos for the past year and never got bored. Thank you so much to you and your family for helping me through so many of my hard times. Love you so much biss.💕💕
I love Stephanie so much. I’d protect her with my life in a heartbeat 🥹🥷🏼 You are such a natural storyteller with a super unique and impressive style , just love you Stephanie, can’t wait for the Switzerland vlogs Biss 🪷
Love listening to her videos especially in the morning while I get ready for school I just set the volume to max and it keeps me so entertained and makes my day start so much better❤❤
JUST A THEORY FROM 1:34:55: Jae probably has DID, his twin didn’t die because he never had a twin, it was his DID. And what if Jake is the one who killed Chris due to unknown reasons, and Oscar is doing all this to cover for him, but also manipulate him. Either this or his twin did die, but Jae developed DID due to the trauma. But either way I think Jake killed Chris
My theory’s that he did have a twin but was so traumatized by their death that his alter developed into Jake to cope with his death. The parents were the one to tell him about his twin and their death and it explains how he might have gotten DID.
Please can you answer this question if you know how though? What about when Chris' killer called Claire and they heard that weird ringtone that apparently Oscar also has. how does that explain Jay having Chris's phone at the end? It's been gnawing at me for so long😭😭😭😭
I'm so excited, I have been waiting for the second part since the first one came out. You even got me to watch the entire show and yet I was still impatiently waiting for you to drop this video biatz, love ya ❤
Oh my gosh, what a disappointment of an ending 😂 It's 2am here and I've spent literally hours listening to the first and second of these episodes, only to be let down in the end! It was one hell of a crazy ride though lol
can you do Vincenzo? i know its kinda old at this point and i know the story SO WELL but i still want you to narate hahhaha. and its one of the example of having a weak start (i almost not continue past ep 1) but a great story overall
Yess I've been waiting for this part 2!! I even DMed Stephanie on Instagram because the video was on private 😭 Thank you for resolving the issue Love you❤
You're the best! I have literally watched all you BAM and rotten Mango podcast content and now making sure I am not missing out on any new uploads youtube and Podcast wise!! Love, love, love you!! Excited for your Wedding. Fan since 2020 when pandemic started, loving you guys since then.
nah its not an alter....the twin killed Jay and took over his identity then when he fell, he forgot who he was and actually thought he was Jay. But when his memory came back, he started behaving like himself. But pretended to have DID to get away with murder.... better ending
“Goes on vacation” is the TLDR of the fact that Tae So Yeon (Yuma) ran away because the detectives suspected she was the Heroe’s broker and wanted to save Ji Soo Heon (Sebastian) 😂
Love your work!! Can you do Ilona Andrews - Magic Bites (Kate Daniels), please? I think you would like reading the book. There's magic, a badass female, various mythologicals creatures, beides the conventional mythology. In the first book there's a murder and dissaperings to be solved; it has a very well thought post apocalypse universe, politics that come into play, and the male lead is not a 5.000 year old being. I had a blast reading and would be AMAZING seeing you retel the story in your fantastic storytelling.
I love Stephane. She is an amazing storyteller. She did miss a few key parts to the storyline but it's fine lol. I think she should do a Bam on the kdrama "while you were sleeping" it's so good but might be confusing to tell. Reborn Rich is also a really good one and has Song Joong-ki as the lead.
I agree, the ending was very weak bc it could’ve either be that Twins (in this world) have some type of connection so both Chanmi (Claire) and Jae can feel/see what their twin saw (as in they have superpowers) or Jae and his twin played switching places until one of them dies and the other impersonates the other
I watched the drama and Oscar held Rachel hostage cuz she placed a GPS tracker in his bag cuz Sebastian asked her to do it since he thought Oscar would lead them to Jay. Oscar blames Rachel for betraying him and he wants to kill Sebastian that’s Y the roof scene.
The ending has a lot of drama that the whole plot twists I am with you there it's barabingbaraboom indeed! I was really hoping Jay would offer to help Sebastian cure his brain tumor. I think it's really twisted that Jay thinks he has a twin brother who died. This drama I cannot recommend because kids will have stress and idea about how to be violent...it's just too much. You saved me a lot of time Stephanie♥ I could have watched all of this and I am glad I didn't. Looking forward to the next BAM! moments! (yeah this video is a year-old but I'm just watching it now gotta binge-watch during my work hours in a graveyard shift)
I was thinking that he killed his twin jay and pretended to be jay when he is actually jake and told Claire that jake is dead. Didn’t even think of DID until you mentioned
I saw it was uploaded yesterday and panicked when it got private 😭 so I ended up listening it on podcast instead, because I’m in need of daily dose of Stephanie’s storytelling 😂
