Judy Holliday makes her TV debut in "She Loves Me Not," a 1949 live adaptation of Howard Lindsay's 1933 play, also starring Marsha Hunt, Ruth McDevitt, Richard Hart, Paul Stewart, Lawrence Fletcher, and Logan Ramsay.
I love everything about the magnificent Judy Holliday; what's not to love?! - And the versatile Marsha Hunt. She did everything, from the big screen, TV, radio, and broadway. She recently left us for a much better place on September 7, 2022.
Amazing to have TV in 1949, America was way ahead of Europe & the production values & picture quality was pretty good. Very surprised tho only certain areas probably had it & could afford it.
It's heartbreaking that Mercury motor division no longer exists, and the Lincoln division barely survives. Why Americans chose to ignore American cars in favor of European and Asian will forever be a mystery to me.
WOW! What a rare gem. Isn’t it nice to watch a television show without hearing canned laughter? Back when it was presumed the audience would be smart enough to figure out when to laugh.
