She-Ra: Princess of Power | Cartoon Clipshow - 113 ⚔👸 

This show was actually my first experience of MOTU. My primary school had a tape of the episodes involving Sea-Hawk and his father that I'd watch during launch breaks.

I was always a big fan of She-Ra and He-man. I also noticed several great writers like Michael Strazinsky (sp?) also wrote episodes for other awesome series like The Real Ghostbusters and many other great 80s cartoons!

Skeletor is such a barbarian. Everyone loves SPoo. If it's good enough for the Centauri and Narn, it's good enough for buff Skelly.

23:54 3 years ago I will remember when a brony wanted to play with my transformers by wanting his ponies to fight dececepticons. When I wanted to have the red autobot car punch the evil black horse, he would slap it out of my hand and almost broke my other autobot toys. I almost took it the transformers toys away from him until beg me not to and promised me that he will not break my transformers. The only autobot he wanted to use were Bumblebee, and Optimus prime for the ponies to rescue. He thought Chromia was Arcee. He didn’t used Bumblebee at all in his adventure. And then crossover special comic happened. It was like his adventure.

Even I am 90's kid, I actually had Snout Spout figure when I was little, and it was my first action figure what I ever got.

She-Ra is an excellent spinoff series. 😀👍

Perfuma was the ultimate She-ra character; definitely more powerful than both She-ra and Hordac glad for the shout out to her dude

Entrapta was one of the few things that saved the She-Ra reboot for me.

It should be noted, whoever bought all the Filmation properties have split both properties apart. And they are now owned by two different owners. So...good luck trying to get them to crossover.

To answer your horse question. Yeah, holding the mane if you don't have another else to hold onto is okay. Horses don't have as sensitive hair follicles as humans. And, if your riding them right you don't really need to pull as you guide mostly with your legs. Holding the hair is more for stability.

The good thing about this show is their reboot. It a good reboot and having a relationship with she-ra and catra.

Outside of a couple of reviews, I haven't really seen anything with the original "She-Ra" cartoon. Hopefully I'll get around to seeing it sometime soon, along with its brother series. Although I binged through the Netflix reboot, which I thought was okay/decent. Best of luck with everything Rob.

Sounds like She-Ra is the “force sensitive” princess of power because she mentally communicates with animals and heal them just like Rey from STAR WARS

I have zero nostalgia for this one so i don't get why people pretend that it's some how this perfect cartoon. After all we didn't even get She-ra in here back then like we did MOTU. To me Netflix She-ra is over all better show for it's story and characters over silliness of this 80's version.

Believe it or not, but the Original moral for that was actually supposed to teach about Racial Prejudice which actually Had to do with the episode! Thanks again for all this!😊👍 Catra Definitely had an annoying voice but there's one thing I Do wish could have been for her: When she transforms into her panther form, her voice should have deepened to a lower sounding wildcat tone! I'd So love something like that! Well that and see Evil Lyn appear in an ep and work with Shadow Weaver in it! Also, Roboto Really should have cameoed in that Christmas Special!

I am also hoping for an on screen reunion between He-man and She-ra.

I didn't know about Horde Prime until this or if I did I forgot.

I was attracted to the female characters in this show; because I was like 11&1/2 years old at that time, and I had hit puberty back then, well you know, and I had noticed teela in the reruns of he-man and the master of the universe too🙂.

While I do have some fond memories of this show, overall I’d say i much prefer the reboot.

True, the world do need he-man and she-ra to reunite. Because quite frankly, there aren’t that many notable brother/sister duos within fiction that actually fight together shoulder to shoulder. The only ones outside of Adam and Adora that I can think of that the top of my head would be Luke and leia, Katara and sokka, and scarlet witch and quicksilver.

Great review. I used to watch this, and even had the Leech action figure (can't remember asking for that one!). SheRa was hot and i thought she was great. Like heman and thundercats it just seemed like there were too many characters and no proper story. I'm laughing at the Christmas special gag!

I know people have a lot of affection for this show because of nostalgia, but Netflix/ Dreamworks reboot is objectively better in every way. Better animation,, much better writing, far better characters, hot cartoon lesbians. and more.

Actually, 'The Secret Of The Sword' got a theatrical release in March of 1985. As for Glimmer's usefulness, she did get The Rebels out of the crashed ship that Hordak shot down using all of her powers, and gets weak as a result. So there's that. Lou Scheimer understood that you shouldn't alienate one audience for another, and made 'Ha-Man', and 'She-Ra' appealing to both. Also, while the reboot isn't as good, it's of an 'action cartoon' then 'Thundercats Roar'.

Re: Flowers for Hordak: It's a cute episode, especially considering it was largely inspired by the O. Henry classic short story, "The Ransom of Red Chief". The entire episode She Ra wants to rescue Perfuma only for Light Hope to continually tell her to do nothing. This perplexes her, but she obeys until she finally decides to go anyway. By then Perfuma's flower power makes Hordak a nervous wreck! Re: The Red Knight - I had read an interview with the show's writers in which one writer had intended on making him Glimmer's father but another writer had decided to have him held captive on Horde Prime. Sounded like a classic case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand was doing. After that, fans would fanwank that the Red Knight was Angella's brother in law or perhaps even a former member of her guard to explain why she thought his voice was familiar. As for grabbing a horse's mane, as someone who knows a thing or two about them, I can honestly say horses do NOT feel pain when you pull their manes. There are no nerve endings at the root of the hair, so it does no harm. However, I always noticed how She Ra/Adora was the only one who did not use a bridle when riding Swifty. Probably because it was thought having a bit in his mouth would interfere with speaking.

Leagues better than Netflix SHE-RA.

You should review the cartoon version of "The Dukes of Hazzard", which is (unsurprisingly) called "The Dukes". It was made by Hanna-Barbera and even has a Christmas episode!

Well, there is that so called live action reboot of She-ra being written and to be fair I might have watch the animated reboot if it showed Catra transform off and on (yes I like cool transformations). As for the legal issues going on a rumor is there might be talks to bring them back together.

That sounds more like a "russian" accent to be from Mermistas people, but anyway.. this show and MOTU has it charmes but i never can take it seriously again, as i did as a kid. But still better then the Netflix show.. And i don't mean She-Ra and the Lesbians of Power: I gave them a chance and was mostly not dissapointed. Masters of the Universe Revelations got a chance too and they fucked it up.
