What a beautiful Bible and I love your character! I just saw this bible at Walmart and was very interested in it but sadly it was sealed up, so I couldn’t look at it. This video helps! I am for sure going to get this and also needed to comment on how inspiring and brightening you are!

I am so glad you like your new Bible! It’s always exciting getting a new one and the She Reads Truth one is so, so pretty! ... I agree with you on the devotions and topical Scriptures, we must use discernment when we look at the notes or opinions of man/woman cause they’re not inspired like the Bible itself is... I look forward to doing the read through in the CSB when you start that... THANK YOU again for the shout out, I really appreciate it!

Alicia Mendsey I think the CSB Worldview Study Bible might be better for those that don’t believe cause there’s a lot of articles that cover atheism, and many other religions and it has many great articles that cover so many of the things that are going on in the world right now. I have a review of that one on my channel and I show the articles. I’d look at that one and then decide which one you’d rather give to someone who is skeptical about the Bible. I hope that helps.

An interesting study I did included writing out every verse in the New Testiment that had the word law in it. Then I went through them and jotted down the context of each. Very enlightening considering how John defined sin and the Strong's definition of law. I've watched a couple of your videos your enthusiasm for our Father's Word is what this world needs more of!

just received mine (indexed version and it just seems a little more helpful than the non indexed one which i returned) and i love it. it motivates me and i'm curious to see how the csb reads. i'm a big fan of the NLT (received it as a gift from my sister not too long ago so i can't wait to use these two together for my time with the Lord. I haven't felt this desire in ages). Anyway, i'm looking forward to doing the old testament journey with you using this bible. have i stalked your channel enough lol!

I just ordered a NLT basic journaling bible so I can take notes while I read it. I have been feeling like I need to actually read the Bible, like God is calling me to be more involved with HIm in my faith. I was smiling as you said that you want to do a read through of the Old Testament for "beginners" or others because that is just what I need! Thank you :)

Hi Anna! I tremendously enjoy your channel. You should totally create a bible layout similar to this one in NLT (my absolute favorite too and I feel like there are not as many options) with your notes and creativity. You hear God well and he will definitely lead you. You’ve master a lot of skill sets. You are such a great Stewart of the word and your time from what I can see. I was thinking about getting this Bible. I was also trying to figure out what "MM Edition" meant with regard to this Bible in the color you've shown here. Do you know? I'm looking at this at 3am in the morning, so I hope you can understand why all of your fast talking made my head spin (smile). You're excited, and that's a good thing. Awwh! I love that you dedicated the Bible to your Subscribers and Patrons! Couldn't be happier that I am a part of those numbers! The timeline looks pretty cool as well as the Verses that connect! I loved doing that with my VBS notes! Finding other Scriptures that connected with the key Verse that will be focused on! Can't wait to volunteer at VBS this week! I am so geared up and ready to go!!

Thank you so much Anna! I really appreciate you and your Mom for doing that for me!! You are so special and such a blessing to me! God has taken away all the fear that I had about volunteering and I helped in a skit today without hesitation even though it's out of my comfort zone and I only got the lines yesterday! I only rehearsed my lines by myself and I played Wanda Worrywart funny enough! She carries around a box of her worries and she doesn't want to let them go and it keeps her from doing anything because of how tightly she is holding onto them. He has been growing and changing me so much within the last month through preparing for VBS! I also help lead music and I am up on stage singing and dancing at the beginning and end of the day! Then I do crafts with the preschoolers! It has been so much fun and I'm looking forward to the rest of the week! One of the kids told me their favorite part was watching me dance and that made me so happy! I also got to see kids leave with the biggest smiles on their faces and one little girl telling her Mom that she had so much fun today! Truly warms my heart and I'm so happy I'm a part of it!!

You finally got a CSB bible yay lol. Its my current one but I tend to lean towards NIV scripture more often. Still the CSB bible the one I have is everything I wanted out of a bible.

I know - yay is right! So many of you suggested this translation to me earlier this summer. I am really enjoying reading through the NT in the NIV right now. I memorized a lot of scripture as a child out of the NIV so it's comforting and familiar to me.

Being multilingual and having lived in Europe myself, I’ve noticed that a lot of the Bibles with good study notes, commentary etc, are in English. It makes sense as it’s an easily accessible language and I’m personally a huge fan of reading the Bible in the languages I speak well (Spanish, French, and English), but I think it’s even more important that the Bible is available in the heart language of its reader. And while Bibles in Finnish, etc, are available, there’s not a lot of ones with resources and I think it’s definitely something that needs to be made more accessible. In a region as multilingual as Europe, its an incredible blessing that the Word of God is available in European languages since so many people still don’t have that. But it’s a shame that a lot of Bible resources are only readily available in some of wider-spoken languages such as German and English. :(

Proverbs is my favorite book. I love my nkj version. I once had an esv I liked. It took me for forever just to get used to reading the esv. Wondering if I will like this version?? Loving the features.

Cool! I love hearing people's favorite books of the Bible. I was thinking this past week I want to read through Proverbs again. I need some extra wisdom at the moment!!! NKJV is such an awesome translation. I really enjoy it. That happens to be my mom's favorite translation. I haven't read through the ESV. So far I still prefer NLT/NIV/NKJV to CSB but I've only compared one book. I'll keep you guys posted!

It may sound kinda funny. But my favorite part of CSB and NLT. The two I own. Versus others is that they use Customary units. And as someone who hates math. During Church this is extremely helpful to give me a more accurate representation of the length of things. Obviously you could google. But it is just easier to not have too. 😂

I have this Bible. It is very pretty and it has room for taking notes or writing down prayers. Have you tried the NLT Illustrated Study Bible and the Swindoll NLT Study Bible? They are both very nice Bibles too! Thanks for the video!

I haven't but I definitely want to!!!! thanks for the suggestions. I have two NLT Bibles (a slim-line and a wide margin) so I wanted to go for CSB this time, but the NLT Illustrated Study Bible has been on my wishlist lol! I haven't heard of the Swindoll but I need to look into that as well:)

I love my She Reads Truth Bible. I got the grey linen color. I wish the words of Christ were in red. And also I wish the devotionals had like an index of pages to find them. But other than that I love it.

Cool! I miss the red letters but it's not a total deal breaker for me. However I do like how they bold-faced Old Testament prophecy when it is used in the New Testament. That's a feature I forgot to mention in this video! Thanks for watching/ commenting Josephine:)

i have the exact one! Yes that is the SBC version. I am not a big fan of this version. I think I am just more use to the KJV and the NIV. ;-)

Hey:) it does not come in any other translation which is a little disappointing but I understand why they had to pick one to start with... I'm not sure what their future plans are though! Perhaps someday we will get other translations for this Bible!:D
