Death being the most patient and understanding being ever is such an awesome trope. I love what he symbolizes in these comics, as he is not trying to get anyone, he is just guiding the souls to their next adventure.

honestly other death voices doesn't feel right, but this voice for death is perfect. like its so calming

"You do not leave life you follow it to the next chapter" I like that it's a nice way to think of it, and "life is not the beginning death is not the end" is another good way to think of it because one can't exist without the other.

This is the first time I’ve seen death in this comic talk to a human soul before.

It's nice seeing such a loving perception of death. It makes dying feel less depressing if you believe that you will have someone to comfort you on the journey to the afterlife.

My aunt got rushed into the hospital today, to find out that she had a brain tumor, and probably wouldn’t see tomorrow. This made me cry, thinking about what her daughter would do, what she would do, and what I’d do. Thank you Edit: she didn’t make it past today. But I hope for best in the future

I think what the worst part about been dead is having to say goodbye or farewell to everything you loved to do when you are alive and to your loved ones.

3 years ago, my classmate from High School had passed away unexpectedly and he never knew it was the day he'll leave this world. I saw his spirit, he was surprised that I can see him and I can hear him. He was confused, he didn't know what happened and told him what his sister had announced on Facebook and he was distraught. Thankfully my grandparents were here too since they already left this world years earlier comforted him and convinced him to return to his family. He later returned to thank me for helping him and he found his grandparents too who offered him to take him home.

I lost my mother back in May to cancer. Watching this had me in tears, but in a good way.

As a child, I used to be scared of Death. But now that I'm an adult, I'm no longer scared of him. Because in truth, Death is a friend. A friend who will walk with me to a new home one day.

I love this life and death contents. It reminds me that there is nothing to be afraid of after life and the beauty of life itself. Making me wish I could meet them personally and hangout with them.

i like to think death gives you three options… either an enteral rest, a temporary rest so that later he come with an offer, the last option is this offer… to be reincarnated into someone or something new… if the soul chooses that, they must go to karma who will decide where their soul will be going to… karma will double check this with life/mother nature herself, then afterward, they send the soul off… of course, before he presents any of the options, he’ll give you as much time as you need to come to terms with the fact that you’re dead

The amount of times you made me cry is unacceptable

I lost my mom last week. Ever since then, videos like this one have been showing up in my recommendations. Each one helps me as I cry a little for my loss every time I watch one. Eventually, I will be ready to proceed with my life.

My kind grandfather died 7 years ago. My wise grandmother died 4 months ago. I am scared of death. I always will be, and not because I know there will be many that will mourn me. Because I don't know... what will happen. I don't know what I deserve after I will be gone. I don't know anything and that scares me the most. I am afraid... of nothing but dark. And keep in mind, that I am Christian... and I still don't have a strength to believe...

Death is what gives live its meaning. If life was infinite, what would be the value of it? The fact there is only so much of it in the universe, only so much, is what makes it so special. That fact that the universe is so infinitely large yet you still managed to exist. Each individual is special because of their rareness and uniqueness. The same with the very limited time you have in this world.

I do hope that death will eventually be so kind. And accompanied me to the afterlife. I think he understands the pain I experience every day better than most of the world.

This is why conversations about death are so important and why we as a society would be better off letting go of Death Anxiety. Death comes for us all in the end, so it's best to live our lives as if every day is our last. To live with intention and not to freely drift wherever life may take us

Something i wrote based off this: Death comes to everyone but we all fear it because we don't know what is beyond life in the realm of death. We don't know and that's what scares us. Death comes to bring us into the next step in our future. When we die we enjoy what death brings, dead flowers look as fresh as they did when they were once living, pets who had a horrible life get a second chance in death by having a better afterlife... Even though the souls never experience life the same way again they experience it in a whole new way kinda like as if seeing a fraction of what death sees. It may seem scary but once you're there it's just as beautiful.

Death, who's very name brings repentance and fear, is just a middle man with the best job in the world. A lot of people think nothing happens after death, nonexistence. He is the one who gives them the good news, and sees their reaction after he shows them.

I'd like to think that the voice actors of these comics cry instead of laugh on the retakes, like, they burst out crying and then they go back to the retake, and have convos about life with each other, this community right here is a great community and I wanted to say our sincere thanks for your voice acting!

This is how I envision the Reaper. He's not what killed you, he's there to make sure you get to your destination. And he stays with you until you do. He needs a hug.

Together with a friend you can behold the one thing beautiful within the shadows. Death, it's dimension for a lack of words, is dark. It's an inky black abyss neither cold nor warm. But only because then, you can witness the light without obstacles as both shadows and lights float in harmony. With you between. Wondering what lights you would like to visit. Old light, new light. All light shall eventually be witnessed no matter ones believes. Because the root of every religion, tradition, and community, is the passing. I am someone who witnessed Death up close twice within 15 years. And this is my experience. Just that. Light, shadows. Memories flashing before you. The first time was frightening and confusing. Sadly comforting eventually. The second time hit a bit different. More... familiar. But i am still here, enjoying the light i remain in. Despite life might hurt a lot, i cannot get enough of it. (Must say, first near death was an allergic reaction to Pineapple. Second, by a kick in my liver from a bully, and no. Despite between those events i have come across more pain and sadness, i remember always that that is a part of life shared by everything and everyone. My motivation is that despite the feeling might be comfortable and yet terrifying, only the living can feel. Feel physically. I have much to feel, hear, and see. And whenever i will be either unlucky or old and stinky, i will greet my friend and guide yet another time.) P.S. I have been drowned, stabbed, hit and run, and shot before 20 which is the age as I'm telling this. None of those events were life threatening, just scary. And all induced by people. I may be less trustful in people but not even that gets in the way.

I like to think death was kind and understanding when it collected the souls of my friends who died from overdoses or suicides. I hope it made them feel important, on their transition to where ever they went. I miss you all so much, i hope your energies found peace and yall are blades of grass or something. Seeing these comics of Life and Death makes me prepared and less afraid for when my time comes.

Usally these make me cry but this one doesn't. It helps me understand. I grew up fearing seeing death (dead animals) and this makes it kinda better. Death has a whole world with animals "living" and happy. I think that's what these are supposed to help understand.

My cat will probably be euthanized tomorrow. Almost 10 years I had and loved her. She was always healthy, until 3 weeks ago the whole crap started. 1000€ later she unfortunately could not be helped despite all efforts. Hopefully in the end she will also meet such a death

I have to say i love these comics and showing that death isnt an evil bringer of demise but a compationate guide that shows kindness to those poor souls and even gets shaken up by huge catastrophies like the forrest fire aftermath where he was kneeling down shocked by how many lifes were lost to tze fire

As much as I love the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, it's refreshing to see Death here portrayed as a patient and kind spirit who guides souls to the afterlife, rather than being a malevolent being hellbent on violence and the macabre.

The first person that hug me was my teacher when i was 16 and she was always very kind with me i miss being hug Years after i left the school my first gf was very toxic but i think that was my fault too i don't trust so much in other people so i didn't trust her even when she did everything to be by my side , life has never been easy for me since i was born with lupus i m always having problems with my body working wrong but as i have seen other people being happy and as i remember the way my teacher always taking care of me i believe if i live long enough maybe i would get hug again and maybe i got a family of my own one who doesn't hate me

It is the endless conundrum of humanity that it is death that gives life it's meaning. We value our days because they are numbered. If we lived for eternity, it seems to me that it would be a curse, not a blessing, because with unlimited time, we would come to value nothing. "we follow life into the next chapter" I like that interpretation. The story is not over---we do but turn the page.

I understand the *Death is not the End* part, but i still dont get the *Life is not the beginning* part. If thats the case what is life? Is it the long ending of birth? Is it the way we go between the old beginning of birth and the comming new beginning with death? Is it neither of these? Is it just time that we spend waiting until the new beginning and in our time of waiting we started doing other stuff like Hobies and Relationships, so we gradualty forgot that we were waiting for it?
