Free money to start a small business isn't that every entrepreneur's wildest dreams? As an Entrepreneurs I'm always concerned not getting into debt while searching funding options for my business. You can think grant money as sort of scholarships for adults. Just as a scholarship, you have to convince the funds issuer that you will put the funds to good use, and you are more deserving of the money than other applicants. If you want to win business grants, you must take it seriously and outperform the competition. Don't be afraid to apply or to pay a professional grant writer that can help you craft a compelling proposal and increase your chances of securing funding. I will say every business deserves to utilize this funding opportunities because it helps a lot. And if your grant application has been rejected, I will urge you never to give up...... keep applying... The miracle will happen when you least expect it.

Right I have gotten in Debt starting my business. I knew nothing about credit line when I started my friend told me about it after I have maxed out all my credit cards. Now my credit score has tanked. Now I’m trying to get figured this out. I also file for a debt consolidation place. I call and cancel. Being an entrepreneur it is hard. I want to assure all small businesses out there, we will not run out of money. ... If you don't get a grant this week, you will get a grant next week or the following week. The money is there and believe me not everyone will turn you down. Just make sure you search the right place so you won’t end up wasting your time.

This is a very, very good interview. I’m learning some things, but I just stopped and went to the website and we don’t know everything that the lady is given I had just found out about you brother and your platform and I salute you. You are very amazing and thank you for this great interview, I’m just trying to learn more about the lady, but she already wants money and that’s what she’s trying to help people get. We need to make some money before we can invest money in someone other than that. It seems like another scammer not saying she’s a scammer, but that’s just what it comes off as, being real no disrespect to anyone but we come across so many scammers on RU-vid. We are tired of being scammed. Give us some type of something for free first so then we can invest once we make some money from what you have taught us.

I’ve been approved for 6 grants so far since 2017 …. I’ve only applied for 6 so I have a 100% success rate so far🤲🏽 I’m in the process of applying for a few new ones now… my whole business structure changed I went from funding my whole business myself for over 5 years to government funding since 2017

This was a very good interview that gave a glimpse of a funding tool. Please remember that you will either give up time or money(example: hiring a team) to help you reach your financial goal. If you are risk averse and have time to do 20-30 applications a month, this can be a good tool. I love debt and use it to create wealth. In my experience, good banking relationships and an excellent bookkeeper who can prepare financial statements can yield 5 and 6 figure funding. Good luck, everyone on your journey!

Yes. Because you can’t predict which ones are going to be awarded. You’re simply applying, so if you just so happen to win them all, then that’s your business. My last job was 100% grant funded and we had a LOT of grants from various organizations at one. It’s also the same thing as students applying and winning multiples.

In response to 16:58 Why are we not taking advantage of these grants ....it is not as easy as you make it out to be. Most grants you have to know someone on the decision board. You literally have to apply a few times before they give you the time of day. I'm not saying its impossible but you better believe it is not as easy as fill out the paper work and boom, you win! If you have a great fiscal sponsorship they may help and give you status but you better believe they are getting a percentage of what you bring in plus charge you extra for every little thing. Yes, apply people but be realistic with the amount if work you have to do to apply and admin things you must have in order to even receive the grant. Don't give up but know its not as easy as they making ut out to be.

I think what disturbes me, there are too many people we "think" are community member and they are robbing folks. By the time you pay some of these fake grant writers, and calling them up and down and them busy with their hustle..... When people get slighted, they tell others. So that's another factor in why people in the community will question the probability. Especially in Georgia 😢

Brothers and sisters be very careful with mixing your non profit with your for profit. There are strick rules shows like this is not really breaking down the legal admin part if it. I'm not saying you cannot have both non and for profits but you better have your business affairs lined up because next thing you know fraud charges are in play. Take note from this video but then do your OWN research then decide how you are going to move legally.

Thanks for mentioning this part. Due diligence is so important in understanding the terms of the grants you’re applying for. As some grants have unrestricted or restricted funding which limits what you can spend your awarded funding on

Also if you have a For Profit and get a grant in Pennsylvania; you have to pay the taxes on that grant. Only if you have a nonprofit you don't have to pay taxes on that grant.

@@innocentlife2346No the payment of taxes is required from the IRS Grant $ for, For Profit companies is considered income to the IRS which is taxable. It has nothing to do with grant requirements. It's an IRS requirement when you do your taxes per my Accountant.
