Dori is unironically good character on coop, both in fun factor and team contribution she regenerates energy and a good amount of healing or a stupid amount of healing on c4. Also if you use for non coop content she's surprisingly functional, like really she's not that bad. It's a shame that she have several top tier character competing with her team slot
My favorite Dori team is Alhaitham, yae miko, kazuha, Dori on deepwood. There’s a lot of synergy, having double electro the application makes it easy for kazuha to swirl while deepwood allows alhaitham to get dendro shred without having to wear himself. In a pinch situation with c6 you can heal you’re entire team for a decent amount without having to use burst. Yeah there’s better alhaitham or yae miko teams, but I like playing them together.
Dori has so many uses and so many synergys with alot of different dps especially now with late sumeru and especially in fontaine. When she came out she looked rlly bad bc i feel like alot of the inazuma main units didnt have a use for her, they were either built to be sub dps or didnt need her energy, but alot of the laster sumeru characters and fontaine characters have use cases for dori and I feel like she gets so overlooked because of her entry time in the game
When it comes to Dori's multipliers you have to remember to add every hit together. Just for example her burst. 30% on her burst seems low, until you realize it's 30 hits, so that's actually 900% and that's even before you consider her C2. So at your current skill level of 11, with a 56.8% damage per Troubleshooter Round. You times that by six, her burst heals 6 times over the duration, you're looking at 1070% scaling on her burst alone. She's not even maxed yet. You do the same for the skill that's a 435% multi. She even sports some of the highest normal attack multipliers in the game and since we always assume 4 stars are at C6 when evaluating them, she ends up having a stupid amount of electro application while dishing out a lot of damage. She is perfectly suited as an aggravate dps as well because of all that electro application along with her keeping her team healthy and topped on energy. She consolidates so many roles (healer/dps/energy) that it becomes extremely easy to build a team around. She doesn't even have energy problems. I have 0 ER and she gets her burst off cooldown. This does, however, lock her into only being able to use Thundering Fury as her artifact set so you can have good uptime on her skill/C6.
@@calamitygenshinimpact1255 Very late reply, but she clears Abyss with ease with her doing the majority of the damage. Throw in a swirl and literally any dendro unit (DMC is more then enough) and you got a team that easily 36 stars the Abyss. Been doing it ever since Dori ran along side that one Nahida banner.
I thought Dori would be good in leaks, but when she officially came out, everyone was trashing her and so I thought she was just not worth leveling. I had c6, and I was using her to get friendship xp on her when a Noelle user was saying she gave a lot of nice ER, and i was surprised because I had a scuffed set on her. I decided weeks later to build her for Yae Miko. Using Dori with Yae miko team (kazu, nahida dori) and yae as a main dps was actually shockingly amazing. Yae doesn't have energy issues, I am aware raiden can help and I do have raiden, but the issue with yae is her energy issues AND how squishy she is, she easily dies. These two problems are fixed with Dori. Of course, I do recommend at least having c4 so you get a lot more heals and even more energy for your main or even other supports.
Okay hear me out: Neuvellete, Dori, Dehya, and Beiduo. I call it the Rising Tide. So a C0 Neuvellete needs someone to give him interruption resistance, reactions, and a way to keep him topped up on health during his charge attack, this team actually works to alleviate those needs. Dehya's skill grants interruption resistance and damage mitigation (she takes a portion of all incoming damage after all), alongside the occasional pyro aoe. Give her a varoukasha's glow and her potential as a damage buffer and damage sponge for Neuvellete. Her skill shaves off just how much Neuvellete loses when he charge attacks, allowing him to keep his damage potential from high health as long as possible, as well as providing a chance for vaporizes, fueling his passive. Also it should be noted her skill's radius is just as big his charge attack radius, like near equal length. Beidou's burst provides interruption resistance, damage reduction, faster charge attacks, and the ability to call down lightning strikes that bounces between enemies, granting access to electro charge for his passive. Give her emblem or noblesse and that damage increases. At higher constellations she even provides a shield to further ensure that the only hurting the hydro daddy is himself. and finally Dori, running her as a support/healer her tether can line up oh so nicely with Nuevellete's charge beam, plus his ability to move while firing means that tether can sweep through enemies at his own pace. He's kept topped off on health at all times and can pretty much use his burst off cooldown without ever having to build ER on his artifacts. You'll never see a potential damage drop off from being below full health. Overall it's a tazer team with a side of overvape Nuevellete hypercarry where the hydro dad himself benefits from damage reduction (potential shield on higher constellations), damage mitigation, great damage bonuses coming from his passives and the artifact passives of his teammates, enhanced energy recharge, and perpetual healing. This dragon will not die and the merchant, mercenary, and pirate ships will ride his wake.

@Xiaueng okay ngl that sounds like a good team too, with the frozen reaction, shielding, and venti pull. I bet that feels super comfy in fights. I've been hoping for a Layla myself, but am finding Diona to be decent substitute with her shields, cryo aoe, and healing. She ain't the best, but most say Dori ain't either and Neuvi makes them work
Dori feels like she is a pure coop character. Constant electro at c6 infusion, burst tethers to all teammates for more dmg and electro, teamwide heals, provides energy, has physical for electro slimes (lol), and uses greatsword to break geo armor, geo constructs, and mine rocks. Too bad Genshins multiplayer is absolute garbage.
After Wrio i too have c20 Dori. I'm almost intrigued to try her once more (i was looking for electro half a year ago but Dori did not satisfy me so i went with Lisa). Now i have all abyss stars of the world and only care about having fun so one might as well build Dori to make friends have heart attacks in co-op by bringing "useless" character. I know Dori is okay. Just not particularly great in something specific which is almost a death sentence in popularity.
Her C6 is also good. She's not as multi-purpose god like Shinobu, but Dori has her niche, for example with fast token healing to proc Marechausee Hunter or Dehya's Portable Power Saw. I rarely need to use her burst, if ever.
Try this team: Lynette, Dori,Fischl and Nahida. It finished the abyss quicker than my electrocharge team. The rotation is very smooth and team DPS will surprise u. Btw, my Dori build is hybrid with Sac GS:2GT2Clam.
I love Dori's design so much, but I got her on Kokomi's rerun so I decided not to use her for a while...the I never used her. Now I have her at C5 from Wrio's banner, and I'm currently building her to have another healer on Abyss, any ideas for team comps? I don't mind if she's not that strong, I really like her and would like a _somewhat_ powerful team she can fit in :(
I used her in an Aggravate team! Keqing / Raiden as main DPS Nahida / Dendro Traveler / Collei - Sub DPS and Dendro App Kazua / Sucrose - Enemy Debuff with VV + Team buffs Dori - Healer + energy for consisten burst uptime You could also try Chevreuse team if you have her, I don't know any teams since I don't have Chevreuse unfortunately.
loved the video . what you think of Navia , I really believe she need to be good for the weak state of geo , Im just worried they will downgrade her kit and put her in the standard banner just like Dehya . what you think her kit needs to be to work with the meta , for me she is more important than hydro archon because of her story and character .
I'm pretty sure she's a gimmick character or meant to be, as in she has only two intentions currently - the sayu/jean electro swirl - with either nahida, dendro mc or off field hydro applicator that isnt Xingqui or yelan, or paired with bennett and again nahida or dendro mc. outside of these two teams shes probably the weakest character in the game even with quicken.
I disagree. In my opinion, she SAVES Yae Miko as a main dps with her two main issues: energy and how squishy she is. Raiden can help with the energy issue, but not the squishy issue. Dori however fixes both of these issues. I hated both Dori and Yae before, Yae was my biggest 5 star regret because I hated how she did shit damage and she would easily die, and her burst also is hard to attain. When I used these two together, it was AMAZING. Now I don't feel the need to replace Yae and find another electro dps.
Every character is a gimmick character, some just have way better gimmicks. She can also swirl with Sucrose/Lynette/Kazuha. As I stated in the video she's great for aggravate teams, you can use her as a hyperbloom trigger, and as someone has already commented, she's great with characters with expensive burst costs. She has plenty of teams to be in, but it is true other healers end up being better options, like Bennett.
I wanna make my second team hyperbloom but my only electro units are fischl dori and razor and fischl is already taken on my one team. Please hoyo don't make me build dori lol
Thoma shielder is well paired up with characters who keep on normal attacking while Lyney's more on charge attacking so they are not that good together. Thoma is better paired with someone like Yoimiya, Hutao, or anyone who relies on normal attacks while C4 Yanfei or Dehya can be a good pyro defense substitute for Lyney
Dori can be the healer on a team with Chevreuse since she can't really solo heal. But Dori's electro application is ok, Bennett would provide your main/off field DPS characters with more damage because of his ATK buff though.
