Second wave 90s goth sound. The generation that WANTED the goth label and did everything to induce that vibe and energy in the music. 90s goth refined and perfected what they started in the 80s and just took it to a whole new level.
I actually just had to look up the history of the band based on Your comment, cuz I only discovered them a year ago and would swear based on their music, the videos and fashion were an 80's band!!! But nope!!! They first formed in 1991!!! 🖤🖤🖤
One of the things I loved most about this masterpiece is the fact that it is based on Edgar Allan Poe's "The Fall of the House of Usher", I loved it🖤
i recently discovered your band, i was new wave/punk/hip hop nightclub kid back in the 1980's - 1990's in San Francisco, i got into goth recently___love your band, please keep making music
This was a band and music from my the most beautiful, black Goth dead darling. We spent hours and hours having fun in the cemetery where she is now buried and where she waiting for of his beloved prince. I can't listen to goth anymore. This is the end. I used to think Goth was just Sisters of Mercy and the Cure.... until she opened my eyes.
I came across this band in an advert in ash's fanzine. I thought they looked good so I bought their record hourglass. I wasnt disapointed. I still listen to them and cant wait for the new album. Goth is goth what year it is isnt relevant.

Classic cool Gothic Rock. Looks like F. W. Murnau directed this Video. Especially towards the end it looks like an old movie from the early days. The Fall of the House Usher?
The Goths (Gothic: *Gut-þiuda,[1] *Gutans[2]; Old Norse: Gutar/Gotar; German: Goten; Latin: Gothi; Greek: Γότθοι, Gótthoi) were an East Germanic people, two of whose branches, the Visigoths and the Ostrogoths, played an important role in the fall of the Roman Empire and the emergence of Medieval Europe.
